Intel or AMD Processor

I'm using an Intel i7-920 processor right. 2.66GHz overclocks to 4.0... Intel hyperthread allows the physical 4-core processor to run 8-cores (only supported with windows ultimate or windows 7). I must admit that AMD processors are well-known for their overclocking capabilities... I used to use them myself. But nothing compares to Intel's i7 >.> I'm just waiting for AMD to make their move...

If you don't believe me, just go look up performance charts for the i7. AMD's x4 processor might beat Intel's C2Q... but i7 just owns o.O

On another note... Processor's don't really mean as much when it comes to gaming... Right now, I only have a 9800gt =.= I should have got a c2q and a gtx 280 =P"

Gaming is just a hobby for most people. Even programmers who create games must have other interests than gaming. Anyways, making things for the amusement of others doesn't seem like a very nice job to me, but someone's got to make games for my xbox, and I thank them for that.

Anyways, there are always exceptions to certain views. I can stand it if a person does not have perfect grammar. What bugs me is when people put together giant blocks of words that are impossible to read.

His weight and looks has nothing to do with how he acts, so there's no reason to point that out in the first place.

Everyone is the same deep down, it's how you portray yourself to the world that defines what your "TRUE" nature is. And your "friend" was drunk anyways, so he probably wasn't acting like his usual self. Some people can't handle their liquor very well.

On to my personal views. I don't believe in discussing my own sexual prowess, but maybe that's just because I'm not "getting some." I guess it's really up to the individual whether they think it's right or not. Not our place to judge. But, if someone is acting like that, I would just walk away from them =/ Personally, I just find it annoying.

Btw, I tend to ignore people when they are drunk... because I know that's not how people are supposed to act. That's just my opinion though.

Why would you climb 6 stories worth of stairs when you can simply take the elevator in less than half the time?? And isn't that kind of the point of a cell phone? You are supposed to use it away from the home phone. It's basically a replacement for the land phone. If you are going to try and argue that, you might as well say, why don't we all write letters..."

First off, the amount of work you put into a job does not equal the amount of money you earn from it. And difficult jobs won't always give you immense satisfaction either.

There are a lot of reasons for working... you speak like a child who doesn't understand the world. The most common and possibly most important reason is because we all need to make a living. You don't work at a job because you like it, you work because you need money. And if you do something you like that earns you good money, congratulations =]

I must say that this thread and people like Souryumaru are really annoying. Not everyone lives a privileged life with a good education and nice childhood. There are people in the world who have no choice in their work simply because of where they were born.

I don't know how school works over there. But here in the U.S. our GPA means like nothing =/ Standard for ivy league grades is already above 4.0, which means you'll have to be taking college level courses by your 3rd year in high school. What's more important here is the college entrance essay, extracuriculars, and your SAT or ACT scores (Depending on West coast or east coast)

As far as scholarship is concerned, unless you're within the top 1% of your school, your acceptance rate for Harvard is around 2% for overseas students. And unless Harvard is looking for you, scholarship is probably out of the question.

School in the U.S. is quite expensive. Tuition can reach around 60 thousand USD depending on your school. The food and stuff here is more expensive too =/ Get a credit card."
