As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

"Yes I did I said Unreal Tournament. That means the original UT which was simply named Unreal Tournament.
To my knowledge the new PS3s aren't backwards compatible at all and that is why the cost went down."

"I walk with a cane now, and what pisses me off heavily is when people stare at it, like they've never seen a damn cane before. What also pisses me off is when people who don't talk to me on a daily or sometimes weekly basis suddenly try to hold conversation with me to ask about what happened, like they really need to know, or like they care, because they don't, because they need to bring meaning to their life now and not take things for grant-it. Then there's the people who say "you're pissing me off" while arguing. Like letting me know I'm upsetting you is going to make me care, because I don't live my life for your comfort, I live according to my needs and wants, and if that makes us clash then so be it. Then there's the people who speak to me with the word should/shouldn't. "Well you should..." No, not at all, because who are you to tell me you know more on how I am to live my life then myself? Then there's the corrupt, and the people who think they can use their positions to get what they want without going through the proper channels. Ohhhh do I love to wreck house with those when I find them out. Then there's the people who think their opinion matters, or that everyone should have an equal say. On discussion boards, fine, but in person, if I'm talking about politics to a biology major, because he asked a question, I don't want to hear his opinion, because it's uneducated. I'm not going to tell him what I think of the science committee or the birds and the trees, so he under no circumstances is allowed to tell me what he thinks of politicians. Let the people who are the experts do their jobs, this is called minding your place. Then there's consumers. They piss me off greatly, because we have things that are so horrible, quality wise, that are insanely popular. Final Fantasy, Twilight, and the iPod are just a few of these things to name. Mostly it's the underage kids begging their parents, the drunk college students who don't know anything and just took a leak in both of the dorms elevators tonight (oh yeah and I can't use steps with the cane, still don't work too well), and the incredibly stupid in general. Then there's the people who think it's all about them in life, and they love to both remind of this and talk about it. I totally have no time for people like this at all, no time to waste. So yeah, there's a lot of things I don't find comfort in in life, but that's just the way it is."View

"Because steaming piles of putrid human waste should totally, completely, and honestly be referred to in the same category as games like Sonic, Oni, Battlefield 1942, Unreal Tournament, Deus Ex, Perfect Dark, Neverwinter Nights.... you know, games worth actually playing.
It's been three years buddy, the writing is on the wall.
Let's notice something about this conversation ok? It's been 3 years since the new gens, and all the PS3 supporters say "when it is released" or "waiting" or "hopefully". Maybe you guys can see in these statements what I see, and to this I answer with a simple word: Seriously? Seriously guys, you've been waiting and waiting and waiting and have gotten nothing, are getting nothing now, and will get nothing. Admission of reality is a big problem in this world, but it helps with the healing process, so I say to you all that unless you bought a PS3 because you love Blue-Ray to death, you wasted your money. Now I'm not one to say "I told you so" or any of that smarmy crap, but let's face it, you blew your money, and disagree with this all you want to, you all come off to me right now as trying to fabricate an illusion that you didn't waste it away to save yourself from the pain of admitting that you did."

The overcooked one is better, because it's actually not dangerous to my health like a very pink undercooked one, but that doesn't mean biting into rock solid crispy crust from the overcook is very pleasing.
You sir show great promise intelligence wise.
Right, because instead of a well thought-out intellectual matching of pen and paper, we going to give the appearance that these books' genesis were back when the author was struggling to complete her undergraduate at a community college no one has ever heard of. So if by twist, you means the poor writing as opposed to the commonality of actual well thought out pieces of literature, then yes, what a twist it is.

Why did you like Code Geass

"You are assuming I liked Code Geass. First off, there's too many recap episodes, and I'd like to point it out that when the number of recap episodes exceeds one, the series losses some respect from me. Second, it's Clamp, which makes me very cautious at first because the only thing I would ever consider re-watching out of their works is Chobits, and even that was just good, not excellent. Third, the story stinks of of the egotistical nature of the writers, with a huge "look at us, we're Japan, we're the best in the world" attitude. I can do without the unintelligent (in the writers not the entire Japanese population) trying to flaunt a fallacy in stating they think they are the best. Illusions only last for so long. Fourth, the anti-America, anti-United Kingdom overtones are enough to make me sick in my stomach. Envy is a deadly sin for a reason. Now I'm not saying we're better then the Japanese, but I'm saying this putrid nationalism that is flaunted to the point of propaganda is something that takes over the entire series and never really lets go. Sure it dies down a little more in the later part of the series, but it's only because it's drilled into the mind of the viewer in the opening thirteen to seventeen episodes. Clamp must know that you can only beat a dead horse for so long, surprising how they show a sign of wisdom outside of belittling their audience all the time. You see Clamp's failures, now culminating with their latest atrocity, Code Geass, only helps solidify a few things, such as Clamp's consistent assumption that it's audience is perpetually stupid, as well as easy to deceive, which is not the qualities of authors I want to support. Clamp should have send in their letter of resignation and retirement a long long time ago, for it is heavily overdue."View

"It's not extreme when describing a company that hasn't put out anything good in almost ten years. Square Enix is just like Lucas Arts and the Sonic Team, companies milking their past glory in an attempt to keep a steady inflow of money by capitalizing on the consumers who don't know better (whether that's age or just obliviousness it doesn't matter) or who are sentimentally trying to keep the series alive hoping it can improve to its former days of glory. We're all guilty of this sentimentalism somewhere along the line, even me (see my purchase of Soul Calibur 4 as sentimental in hoping the series can go back to when it was good, i.e. SC 1+2)."

The last good console titles to come out of them was Kingdom Hearts 1, Final Fantasy 9, and Final Fantasy Tactics (the PS One Original for all those who are thickheaded about this game and need clarification cause they think the GBA game is the only Tactics). I'm expecting more truckloads of human waste like Final Fantasies 8, 10, 10-2, 11, 12, and KH 2, all the GBAs and etc, etc."View

"You know I'm very disappointed in Soul Calibur 4. The character creation is great, really top notch, and the skill system is awesome; however online play is very disappointing as the real flaws of the characters some out, with the unbalanced fighting system having Zazamel and Ashteroth being so over-powered it ruins online play because of all the cheap players online. Then there's the fact that the single player storyline and arcade are grind-tasticly boring. The Tower presents a challenge but it gets very dull very quickly. I'm giving up hope on fighting games, might as well go back to SF 2 HD Remix."View
