After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"College is fun but you have to make something of it. Parties and spending the nights in bars and consuming alcohol do only two things to the college kid, decrease their intelligence and build their waistline. You gotta be active man, college is no fun unless you plow into clubs and things that help build the social experience that college is all about."View
Will the PS3 die???
10 months 1 week ago
"I'm an American consumer too, but let's be honest, in a country where MTV dominates the television scene on college campuses and high school households, it's hard to have any hope.
Expect on if we're strictly arguing on the American market, which we are not.
Very valid points sir. I'll tip my hat to this.
Well if we're going to argue a little on how the titles match up to measure if the PS 3 is dying, then you're going to expect differences. I still refuse to recognize MGS 4 as a game though since it's probably one of the most expensive movies you can buy. also, I wouldn't trust critics, or at least I don't for that matter. In a world where you can get easily bought out as a game reviewer or where fanboyism plagues the market more then anything, I'm learning not to trust fan opinion or critic ratings.
Again we're talking games so some restrictions may apply. See store for details.
Please do so sir.
I must say you're pretty much on the button right here.
Thank you, it's somewhat good to be back."

"Well I certainly think it is a horrible system, and the fact is it hasn't been able to hold it's own in the market and that's why it's struggling so hard but I don't think it's going to die off soon, maybe we can come back into this argument in a year and things will have changed but right now I don't think it's close to dying.
Also, it's not personal, and I'm not insulting anyone, I'm allowed to go at it argumentation wise with another member Crim, it's what makes forums forums."

"Because not quoting the whole sentence and taking things out of context totally prove your point.
Why should I? This argument is about the Ps3, not FPSes. I'm just stating that FPSes sell better here then RPGs, and I'm sure you'll agree with me. I'm not saying they are better or anything, I'm just saying point-in-fact they do."

Will the PS3 die???

"Wrong, yet again sir, I'm starting to question your research and experience. The X-Box and GameCube vs. PS 2 arguments are practically void because the PS 2 stood alone in the market with only the N64 to rival it for years. Of course at the time the PS 2 came into the market the N64 had been there for a while, and as we have constantly seen both now and in the past the Nintendo consoles don't attract many big name companies to make blockbusters for them, leaving all the gaming companies to go to the only option left, the PS 2. The X-box and Gamecube came into the market well after the PS 2 not only built the foundation for it's house, but built the house itself and a garage expansion for it.
First off, I detect a very large amount of bias, but you are free to prove me wrong on that. Wii Sports is not "irresistible", it's fun but it's not the greatest thing since sliced bread. Yes, Brawl undoubtedly gave the Wii some big name bucks, but Tales of Symphonia 2 hardly was even worth mentioning in BIG name sellers for the Wii, which probably go to games like Super Mario Galaxy, Brawl, and Mario Kart.
Who cares why it's dead last? I'm not arguing WHY it's not dead last or why it is. I'm arguing if it will completely die like the Dreamcast and Genesis did, and the answer is no because people still buy them, most particularly for sports games and First Person Shooters. Not the genres you may like, but don't bring that into the argument.
I never said this was a pro, I'm pretty sure I said this was a weak-point that was hurting the PS3, hold on let me go check:
Huh.
I'm pretty sure my mother taught me not to force my opinions and thought on others and to respect their opinions, but since we have to go this route, I'm also pretty sure that some people want to play sports games because they don't want to spend their life playing sports in which the percent of actually college or high school athletes/students that make it into the pros is probably less then 1%, or because they are already physically incapable of doing so.
P.S.: This is by no means personal, just a very heated-to-the-point-of-boiling argumentation of views."

"Right, because a big name company like EA is going to take their biggest selling franchises and place them in the hands of fresh-out-of-college interns.
You are so incredibly wrong. NHL 09 and Madden easily out-sold this game (that includes the number of times it came with the Wii system)."

"Wrong, it's about making money, and sports games make money.
I refer you to this again:
And yet the only ones worth playing out of that list and has a chance to actually be surprisingly good is God of War 3. Fallout 3 wasn't bad though.
And in 2006-2007."

"This means that costs of production, as well as the production time itself both increase significantly more then the other consoles.
I hardly think steal is the correct word to use. You see, Sony and Microsoft have no direct influence on what console gets what games made for it, but since the above problems occured when making games for the PS 3, a lot of companies decided not to make games for Sony's console and hence the jumping of the ship took place.
That may bore you but it's what the market demands the most. The reason you haven't seen a lot of huge RPG projects in the works anymore, or good ones at that, is because RPGs don't sell as well as FPSes and Sports games. FPSes and Sports games win you the college market, a market that is imperishable and very very expansive. That's just the way the US market works. In Japan, RPGes are the big selling blocks, but need I remind you the Pacific Ocean separates your demand for more RPGes and the supply of them. Different culture, different needs it what it all comes down to.
The problem with this is since Fable is made with the help of Microsoft Game Studios, they get exclusive rights to keep it a 360 only game."

U2 One of the greatest bands^^
10 months 1 week ago
"U2 is a band I would only listen to if I was put in a mental home, had alzheimers and thought I was Prince Albert during the day and Joseph Stalin at night. They don't have many innovative or mind-breaking songs, their lyrics tend to be minimal and repeat endlessly with no form of chorus or verse and their songs now tend to sound similar in tempo and beat. U2 never had a prime, because when you're always bad you never climb the mountain to peak your performance. Simply put, there may be worse bands out there, but there are certainly a lot of better bands worth listening to."View

"The PS 3 will survive simply because the average American consumer is completely idiotic. The PS 3 alone survives only on the fact that it sells to college audiences because it plays Blu-Ray and plays all of EA Sports games much better then on the X-Box 360. As for stand alone titles, the PS 3 has one game worth mentioning: Resistance: Fall of Man (no NOT MGS 4 because it's a movie not a game, and still sucked). The X-Box 360 will forever have it beat in stand alone titles and the Wii is not in the same market since it's marketed towards the obese (see Wii Fit [fad games, totally stupid]) and children. You can only play Wii Sports so many times, and the Wii is not helped by the fact that it also has just two games worth buying: Mario Kart Wii and No More Heroes (no NOT Super Smash Bros Brawl because the maps fall short compared to Melee's and Brawl is incredibly unbalanced, ruining the game). Sony needs to fire their self-loving, consumer-hating (by self admission on the consumer-hating) CEO and get someone who can bring the PS 4 (whenever that comes out) back to the path of releasing good games and having most companies sign on to make games for its console, like the glory days that were the PS 1 age."View
Final Fantasy VII
10 months 1 week ago
"Final Fantasy VII is the ultimate fan-boy game. It defines them, makes them, advertises them. The story line is good and very interesting up until about a third of the way through disc two, around the point it becomes a high school drama. The plot twists were unexpected or somewhat random in disc one, which is good and helps keep interest in the game, but when Tifa and Cloud start smooching around each other it loses its appeal. I would say in the end Final Fantasy VII is average but better then a decent amount of RPGs. The average part is where the high school drama that VII was makes it fall into a nasty category of old and dry gaming storylines, but the way it is turned into a high school drama is not typical by any means, which makes the game complex in trying to scale it. The ending brings closure and overall there's enough side-quest things available to do so that it keeps the game interesting for the people who wish to explore it, but comparing to other Final Fantasy games it's the beginning of the downslide the series took. VII could not compare to IX, VI, IV, I, or Tactics, but it was significantly better then Vi, X, X-2 (which was an atrocity), XI, and XII, and inevitably Xi (jury still out on Xi though obviously). It's good, but it's not great. If it was me, I'd stick with the Dragon Quest series, Chrono Cross + Trigger, and the Legend + Secret of Mana series for the PS One as better options for that console."View
The Twilight series...
10 months 1 week ago
"Twilight is very perplexing. I read the entire series, painfully, very painfully might I add, and it was very sub-par on the way of fictional writing. The entire series is very transparent, and within the first few pages you easily see who the villian is going to be, who the heroes will be, and what the plot twists that will put villian vs hero will be. Very dry writing style, very easily loses attention. This story has been done before and much better, and by far not the best fiction series out there. More proof of why you never underestimate stupid people in large groups: Twilight is popular."View

"Ha ha ha ha I am taking Math 110: Applications of Math this semester and I must say it is an incredibly fun class. We study mathematical field problems, such as today's example of what babies out of a group of statistics need to be prioitized (spelling) on the ECMO system for treatment. It took us a while until we figured it out, but it led to a good amount of debate. Pretty intuitive way to do Math I must say."View

Communism
10 months 2 weeks ago
"Communism as defined by it's creator Karl Marx is an utopian society in which people eventually do not rely on governmental intervention and support and eventually overthrow the concept of government and live amongst themselves sharing needs among themselves as they are presented to them. Marx described it as an ultimate inevitability that people will reach somewhere in time. It wasn't until the Lenin years that Communism acquired its infamy, where Lenin Marxist Communism was principled around the idea that one may speed up the process at which society becomes a utopia by killing those who will not contribute to its making. This is where the U.S.S.R. came into play and murdered millions of people in cold blood. Stalinist Marxist Communism is a continuation of the brutality that was first started by Lenin's radical ideals. This only presents the conclusion that Communism is not evil, it's what people have done in the Communist name that has made it's legacy."View

"The best classes depend on game-mode. For example for most TDM and any Hardcore games I use:MP5 or M16 Silenced
.45 Silenced
Bomb Squad
UAV Jammer
Dead Silence
And for game modes which are mostly run and gun:
M60
.45 Silenced
Bomb Squad
Stopping Power
Martydom
And of course there's always the piss everyone off class
M16
Desert Eagle
Noob Tube
Juggernaut

"Well I always love the Olympics, and I must say the Opening Ceremonies were amazing. A fantastic spectacle that really was worth the time and energy to stat up for. The swimming, in particular the ones involving Michael Phelps were insane, especially where Lezack ran down the Frenchman for the win, or the 1/100 of a second win over the Serbian. It was an astonishing feat to witness, and by far a story to be told for generations. The games in general have been very good, and a brilliant pleasure to watch. The Boxing has been top notch despite some sloppy opening round fights, but for the most part Olympic boxing is the highest quality fights you will ever see. The wrestling has been very entertaining, then Table Tennis intense, and the Track + Field has been superb. The football has been a great enjoyment to watch and the water polo and volleyball have been really tight tournaments all around. The cycling was very good and the rowing was great despite the typical US falter. Overall, I've been glued to the TV whenever I can be watching Olympic coverage. The gymnastics were of the highest level I've ever seen, despite the very faulty judging. I would say this has been an Olympic experience to remember, by far something I've enjoyed for 13 days so far."View
E3 2008

"E3 was massively disappointing. It only helped prove to me how bad economy wise the industry is right now. There is absolutely not a single title worth my money at that E3, and theme of "more series-based games" only helped to prove to me the all time low the game industry is at right now. Nothing original is coming out and nothing worth waiting for has been announced. The 2008-2009 Fiscal Year is going to be probably the worst the industry will have ever faced, and it is going to be painfully slow, annoying, and boring."View
