After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"Summer eh? Well...first things first----I will RELAX of course! Nothing beats sleeping till noon...X)But ("sadly") I've landed myself on a job at a bakery... so it's now "byebye sleep-in, hello 6am!"...
....even more plans! So it's gonna be watching a lot of TV/movies/anime, read lotsa manga, chat online, draw all day, go swimming, hanging out with friends and even travelling! Now THAT sounds more like summer doesn't it...

"Hi everyone~My attempt on the previous wall was a disaster...I couldn't come up with a better concept for it, so I decided to move on. T-T However I still wanna thank those who made comments and suggestions. Thanks~
Well...this one is an original wall I made. The character is completely my own. I'm thinking about re-drawing the clouds (currently drawn with "cloud brushes") to match the style of the hills...what do you guys think?

"Despite the high remarks given by critics and audiences alike, I didn't enjoy this movie. Well, maybe I still need to understand more about it to really get what it's trying to depict. Plus I really did find some scenes too brutal and violent (bloody) to my liking. And some scenes actually gave me the creeps and made the movie feel more of a thriller than fantasy. >_< However, I really liked the imagination and creativity involved and the visual and computer effects."View

"Most of the time I tend to draw whenever the lesson's boring. I draw like practically everywhere, on my textbook, worksheets, my desk... And then I'll have to spend a long time cleaning up the mess on my desk at the end of the week(when we'll have to swap desks with other groups in class). But well, better drawing than falling asleep, in my opinion.Hoping for more interesting lessons when I get to college~"

I have made quite some changes to the wallpaper: Sakura and Syaoran are back on the ground (yay). I've decided to drop the starry-sky scenario, the bright stuffs now are supposed to be fireflies among all the tall grass, and I also tried out some new brushes.
Hope that the new version is a little better than the last. >_<

"Most of the time I would just jott my problems down on my journal. Scribble them down on some scrap paper then tear them up and chuck them away...y'know, things like that. Or I would listen to REALLY loud music to keep myself distracted.But well, if I'm really desperate, I would turn to my closest friends, my older cousins, and my family members. My family tops the list when it comes to situations like these, cuz I can't seem to find anyone else more trustworthy than they are."

I have made some changes to my wallpaper based on your suggestions and the revised version is here.
The night-sky background was re-did. I'm considering the suggestion from jrpjnoyako08 about putting Sakura and Syaoran on the ground. But I'm trying out the sky-texture, so I'm keeping the moon for now, but I added a little texture on it and hope it isn't too blinding.. >_< Do you guys think I should really change the night-sky and moon background?
I so hope it looks better than the first >_<
Please don't hesitate to point out whatever that needs improvement~ All of your comments and crits are greatly appreciated.

@Yuki-chan: Thanks for your comments.^^ I still have a lot to learn from everyone here. What I meant for "I drew" is that I used Photoshop to draw the characters again instead of vectoring the characters directly from the scan. I was actually drawing the characters to practice using my tablet and to work on my "coloring skills". Hmm..where do you think the characters should be improved?

Should Physical Discipline of Children Be Outlawed?

"Being a big kid myself I can still relate to spankings back in my childhood days, but my parents are really tolerant people and they hardly ever spanked me or my brother, so...on one hand I believe that parents and teachers don't necessarily have to use spanking to discipline a child.On the other hand though I think that adequete physical discipline should be allowed, but within some limits. So unless he has done something seriously wrong or dangerous or damaging, I don't suppose anyone should spank the child.
It all comes down to this I suppose-the best way to educate and discipline a child is to do it with love and wisdom."
