"So, Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. This wall has the main focus on his automail arm. I also included the transmutation circle in the background to represent both aspects of himself. Nothing too deep really, but I really like how this came out.Let me know what you guys think. Anything I should change or fix? Ideas on how to improve it or let me know what looks good so I can at least keep going in the right direction? Thanks in advance for the feedback. :3

"I love Isshin! I thought he was just hilarious at first but after we saw him ala shinigami I fell. Hard.I don't think he's a vizard for the obvious reasons that others have listed. Mainly the one being that to get back his shinigami powers, Ichigo had his chain cut & he almost become a hollow. Something that could never be erased once the damage has been done.
I do think that he (& possibly Ishida's dad) will get involved in the fight. Maybe not real soon, but even as a last resort. I'm totally looking forward to the day when Ichigo learns the truth about his dad.
But what I find most interesting about the whole thing of him having these shinigami powers is that I have seen no reaction to the name "Kurosaki" by anyone from Soul Society. Everyone knows Urahara & we've seen plenty of reactions to shinigami hearing his name. So either the surname Kurosaki an alias or he's only a substitute shinigami like Ichigo."

I have learned from experience not to press the issue tho. They know if they ever want to they can borrow mine or I can tell 'em where to get it. But I have learned not to be like "OMG I've been reading this new manga & it's about blah blah blah..." They just get a little glassy eyed & say things like "Oh really? That's interesting.""

"As a girl named Stephanie, I'd prolly go by Stephen (or just Steve). However, my fiancé might be little disturbed by my gender swap.I hope I'd still have the same friends & all...I'd like to think my personality wouldn't change. I suppose if you mean that just my physical appearance would change, then I wouldn't change much anything. 'Course I'd have some explaining to do as a guy who adores purple, bishies, & kittens. I am a bit of tomboy sometimes, but I can get very girly & squealy when it comes to some of my fandoms.

Is 24 hours a day still enough for you?

"There are times when it would certainly be useful & nice to have a few extra hours. Like on my days off & I could spend more time relaxing, hanging out or doing hobby things. But I know as I've gotten older that time does feel like it has sped up significantly.I have heard that some theorists believe that time has actually sped up. The year 2012 is supposed to herald an "end of the world" like event according to both the Mayan Calendar & the prophet Nostradamus. It may not mean the end of humanity, but perhaps life or civilization as we know it now. The idea in the Mayan Calendar is that the closer we get to the year 2012 the faster time goes.
Regardless if it's true or not, the idea that time could go faster is odd to me. I mean, if a second is a specified amount of time, how can it get any longer or shorter? And if it doesn't actually increase or decrease & we have not changed how we count time on earth, how does time actually speed up? I should stop reading different radical theories...it makes my head spin a little.

"I agree with Setsunaku that the orange & white gradient draws away the eye from Ichigo. You may consider switching the gradient around, so it draws the eye in the other direction towards Ichigo.I like the vertical lines, but not how one cuts off his bangs. If the original pic was like that see if you can just fill out the rest of his hair & move the lines over. It just seems like you're trying to squash him off the screen a little. Also, if keeping the gradient doesn't work try using more vertical lines, perhaps in varying size, of white & oranges to give the empty space some depth. Just keep playing with it & you'll find what you're looking for."

"EDIT: Thanks guys! I'll play with the font style & how I'm gonna feature the character's name & try some different settings to see what comes up. When I get the chance I'll repost it here so ya'll can critique. :DMy first wall I'm considering to submit, but I was wanting to get some opinions of what everyone thinks.
The character is Shiba Kuukaku from Bleach & there is a severe lack of representation of her in the fandom, considering how awesome she is. She & her family specialize in fireworks, so the idea of her bounding through a firestorm of explosions seemed rather fitting.
As for the background, it's my first attempt at fire. I wanted it to look more like something blowing up rather than just flames. Like a cloud of fire & smoke. I'm quite happy with the end result.
So let me know what you guys think. Anything I should do to improve it? Opinions on the font, colors used, etc.?

"The image of Sakura is great, but even with the different color edits I'm just not feelin' the background. With the foliage added it seems she should be more in a landscape rather than just against a marble wall. You may consider playing with filters on the current bg or trying some different ones all together cause right now everything just doesn't seem to flow together. Also, I like the feathers, but they seem a little large in scale. You may consider sizing them down just a tad."View
