"The black border lines around the little pics from chii need to be removed. cut the pictures into rounded boxes and then let some space between them. that way it would look much better, and the colored picture should be like the others - in one color (i mean like the first and second one of the little pictrues). oh and the sig, put it in the bottom of the wall in a corner of your choice. other than that it looks fine to me, just the resolution could be a bigger one."

My Wallpaper, 1st Try

"First off nice choice of scan, but i think the colors of it are wrong. maybe get the right version here from AP's gallery. than just a centered pic on a blank bg isn't working that way. you need to add your signature to it. (signature is like this: wallpaper by your_name ). this liitle devil heart in the top is out of place it hasn't much connection with the wall it is now. i would say i would put it out, if i were you. the anime's title should be at the bottom or the top in a corner of your choice. it is really hard to make a wall with text cause of the font, the taste about such a little and unimportant thing is very different. i like the font personally but the colors of them aren't a good choice. maybe make it in one color and in one that will go with the color them of it.
for the scan you can make much out of it, a vector would be hard work but i think this way you can create a surrounding that would suit the anime and the image. a grunged bg could work, too. for that reason a flip over so that she's either hanging from the top or will be in like a 90° angeld kinda postion from the left or the right could be worth a try.
so hope you don't lost your will to work on this wall. it wasn't meant to be rude, it just should help. "

"I also use 1024x768 resolution and i think making them in bigger resolutions isn't that hard to do with that resolution. ^^
anyway i like the arrangement of the scans but the background color doesn't fits to them. and maybe you also could clean the scans they look like they haven't till now.
fo the background theme, i would choose something darker than that and maybe add some more elements to it. looks a bit empty. if you would like to keep it this way you could trying to combien some vector brushes. "

well i think that filter on the character and the building doesn't look all to great together. i would go for the scan look or a vectored look, but not a that filtry look you have right now.
the text looks better this way, the way it vanishes is fine to me. ^^ but the font still doesn't please me, well maybe it's just me but there are much better fonts on www.dafont.com. "

"Well i think if you would keep the text you should change the font, to something that fits the silent hill theme. maybe put the text behind the scan of the two perosns and make the oppacaty a bit lower. and your background is to empty, it's just black with some red areas. since it is a game scan i think a stock image in the back with the right light should fit good to it maybe a church or a districted area image would be nice. you also can texture it a bit out to get that horror feel.

"Yeah don't ggive up. vectoring is much work but it isn't that hard to learn and if you try it will be a good practice. just go to the vectorness group that is why they group is there to help. the image is really to blurry and just a screenshot isn't submitable. so says the AP guide. and the little bar where all the tiny images are on, should be removed it doesn't really fit to it. maybe it will fit in when you put them into a filmstrip which could go through the wall or place the strip on one side of it. "

well you should extract the image and do background on it. and after the extraction is right you could clean it too.
the vector pop art border in the corner looks okay maybe the wall would be better if you also go for a vector of the characters in that style. there a lot of walls around here with that pop art or what it's called. you can take look around and get some ideas. "

if you like the way the site present itself go for it and try it out. well and i think for online shopping there's always some articles in magazines were prices are listed at some good shops etc. "
