"I agree with Lizzorette, it needs to be re-extracted. The scans are also grainy, and should be cleaned.

The overall background is, simply put, unattractive. A blown-up screencap doesn't work well. Try using textures, brushes, or a combination of the two, instead.

The wallpaper's too busy, as well. The pink orb (?) floating off center doesn't seem to relate to the theme at all, and you're better off without it. The text takes up too much of the wallpaper, and it's all crammed together, and the pink and blue clash. I'd take out the text with the characters' names.

The slightly opaque image in the background is also a distraction. Unless you're making a collage, it's best to decide on one central image."

"As Crimsontide said, the sign appears to be floating. Since you've already completed your vector, having the sign hang around his neck would do.

The background is a bit choppy, and looks like a basic emboss filter. Try using some other textures instead. Other than that, it's a great wallpaper."

Anyway, as for the said wallpaper, it's too small. As Doki already stated, this could be an Imageshack issue, however, the minimum wallpaper size is 1024x768 pixels, regardless.

The pixellation of the text doesn't suit your wallpaper, and its mechanic look contrasts the grunge of the rest of the wall.

The scan itself could use some cleaning, there are some color blips that could be quickly fixed with the smudge tool.

A simple grunge filter applied to an image won't be enough to serve as a suitable background. Try finding some textures or brushes, instead."

"The contrast between Chi and Freya, and their background is huge. It's as if the background is the focal point. The scan needs to be cleaned, as well.

The extraction is sub-par; there are cutoff lines along the hair, and some traces of the image's former background.

The tiles for the stained glass windows are rather jagged and pixellized, try going over them with the smudge tool so that the effect appears more natural, and not so much like black lines cutting through the characters."

"You still need a signature for your wallpaper, as angel-voice pointed out.

As for the wallpaper itself, it's hard to tell what's going on. By having Haruka's reflection and the clouds in the background, it appears he's against a window of some sort, but it's impossible to tell for certain.

The feathers should be solid. Reducing the opacity makes them appear ghostly, and there are other ways to show how thin and wispy they are.

Haruka needs to be cleaned. There are areas that are especially grainy. Try using the smudge or selective Gaussian blur tool.

The clouds look too simplified for their own good, especially in the center, in which one clouds appears to be rectangular. Add some depth to them, with shading, or try painting the clouds."

"This is really amazing so far, but it has a few areas where it looks like you were cutting corners. The grass is all in the same direction, and the height of each blade is all the same. Vary your colors up a bit, and try to mix in some other brushes for the sake of diversity.

The birds (?) and coloured pencils are also a bit fuzzy.

"I'm going to have to agree with Doki here. The brushes themselves are nice and the greys contrasts well with the purples, but the unorganized fashion behind them makes it all seem like clutter. I like the abstract idea, but, again, as Doki stated, having the brushes coming off Yuki would allow them to stand out more, and make the wallpaper look more aesthetically appealing.

The font you used, Papyrus, gives off a more antique feel that the rest of the wall does as a whole, and it's not befitting.

It's a good start; good luck."

"Renton and Eureka are opaque enough to the point that the areas that do give away at transparency just look like mistakes. I'd solidify them, especially considering your background.

"First off, the required height for a wallpaper 1024 pixels in width is 768 pixels, so your wallpaper's a bit large.

Your vectoring is great, but the background really destroys the overall aesthetic appeal. It's too busy, and it doesn't suit the image. The background looks like either a galactic setting, or bamboo reeds. It'd be great if you could vector the rest of the background, but, if not, even a simple pattern would do.

The lighting effects are rather odd, and add more drama than the image itself conveys, so you might possibly want to remove them.

The horizontal cyan lines that run across the wallpaper really distract, and make it too busy, as well. The line you've used to separate the text breaks up space well, though.

The wallpaper's great, overall, it really only needs a small change in background."

"This could just be a Photobucket issue, but the minimum wallpaper size is 1024x768 pixels, and JPG is the recommended file extension for wallpapers.

I have to agree with Yish on the fact that the render's really low quality. The extraction wasn't done too well, and the lines are really jagged.

The wallpaper is also extremely busy, and the majority of the wallpaper is just the image of Sakura repeated. I'd remove the blown-up image of her in the background, and replace it with a texture, or something of the sort. Good textures can be found at Deviantart, if you're curious.

The slightly opaque box in the center breaks up space well, but it seems to distract, and it doesn't really serve any other purpose.

The doubled image of Sakura in the background almost seems like a mistake. If you want a shadowed effect, try using a solid colour silhouette.

I like the flower petals (especially in relation to the anime), but they seem to blend in, and you may want to make them a different colour. This, of course, depends on the background you use.

It's a good start, but it needs more work."

"First off, I must say, I absolutely adore the texture work here.

I find the wallpaper, or at least the characters to be too bright, and you may want to reduce the contrast a little to make it easier on the eyes, and try to restore the blacks. Right now I can't help but feel that it's rather washed out.

Some areas of the scan need to be cleaned, mainly your shadows and the characters' hair.

The extraction could use some work. The image looks rather polygonal and I can see some white space from the original image, especially on the Gundams.

The birds look like a brush (and I suspect they are), and you may want to add more details to them.

The text should be placed a little hiher up on your image, and in a less common face."

" Filters aren't the only way to use texture. And I have to agree with Rukawa, this filter looks bad. There are many websites out on the Internet where you can find textures, such as Desktop Anime and DeviantArt.
The filter also distorts the image, especially in the area toward the eyes. I can't make out Mugen, and you've completely gotten rid of any possible plays with color.

I adore negative space, but you need to have something in the black area. A pattern or texture will do, but you need something.
Mugen doesn't blend into the background either, which gives a cut and paste feel which is neither liked nor favored. Smooth out the edges with a layer mask, or try blending.

I hope this helps. You can still create a fantastic wallpaper without being overly dependent on filters.

You used too many filters and its easy to spot. Textures would work better for your background.
Your image is of such bad quality, unless you vector it, you'll need to find a higher res version.
The colored pencil filter in the middle's quite distracting. If you like that look, try a brushed metal effect.
The text should be closer together, as the style you chose doesn't look very good. Try another font, too."

"Bad extractions make me wince, and right now I'm cringing.
Alucard looks like someone took a bite out of him, especially in his left arm. His hair is partially red from the bits of the scan still clinging to him. You attempted to smudge the bottom of his coat to hide it, and it looks worse. Clean up/re-extract.

There's a weird texture on the black in Alucard's shirt. Remove it, if you can't see it, it's most likely a flat screen thing.

The grass should be removed. This isn't a scenic wall. The cross should either be removed or put at full opacity, and the background should probably be a texture.

If you'd like to make this wall scenic, then add a sky and try better with the grass. It looks unnatural. If you don't wish to pursue scenic, then I suggest trying something more abstract."
