What's the worst nightmare you ever had?

"Hmm...I think my worst nightmare was one in which i was stuck in their weird ass place with red skies and huge glass domes. The kicker was that me and the people around me were being chased by giant insects and bugs and they were killing and eating us. I guess that dream explains why I hate giant bug movies XD

Another one was that i was walking down a street that was completely empty except for huge hunks of bloody meat all around me. For some odd reason that dream really freaked the hell outta me."

My classmates who do watch anime dont read manga. They say that its too slow and they just prefer moving pictures XD I kinda get what they're saying but theres something completely different and more...fun about manga. "

"As much as I would adore to see Zaraki getting to the Bankai stage. Talk about a powerhouse man! But i reckon that he wont be pushed to doin that until he feels that he can grow stronger by doing so. He already sees himself as stronger than anyone around him and thats why hes got all the handicaps in place (the bells, the eye patch, hell you can even count the shikai release as a handicap).

Computer Glasses

"Oh pphft THAT protective screen thingie? I used to laugh my head off when I saw people using that. Because I would spend hours and hours in front of the computer and my vision stayed stable. True that I did have glasses but I ended up gettin em by readin in poor light and watchin the telly too close >_<

But ive never heard of such glasses. Interesting though. A much better option than having that cracked up screen on your monitor who'se clasp would break in two months and you'd be stuck with a tilted protective screen XD"

Soaps

"Not quite sure myself...I suppose its all the drama and romance that keeps the woman folk hooked. Me, I dont like all that drama. I find it totally over the top. Though i would turn on the soaps when there are absoloutely nothing better on the telly. Like I ended up followed 'The Bold and the Beautiful' for three months because the hour on which it was on, there was usually nothing better on. So, I would end up watching it just to pass the time.

The only soap that I kinda half seriously followed was 'Fashion House'. I'm not too sure WHY I did though...I was severely dissapointed in the story (I ended up predicting every damn thing!). I think it was the whole fashion thing that interested me...

General Hospital is on here these days...I cant even stand its commercials *Groans*

My biggest peeve is that they just drag on and on and on and on. And no one stays dead. Its like real life Marvel verse really..."

"Two years ago I would giving an affirmative without even sparing a thought. But now...I dont think I could. Ive become rather attached to anime and mangas. Regular tv programming just doesnt hold my interest that much these days. Seems like there aint nothing but crap on these days >>

Thing you do right before an exam?

"Lets see...before exams....

First off, a few days before my exams I go over all my notes and make sure that I have everything I need. My notes, my friends notes (if ive missed any class), extra reading materials supplied by the teacher and my book(s).

Then while studying I make sure I have some snacks with me and a lot of rough paper and pens. Because I write down everything a couple of times to make sure that I properly remember everything. I also keep highlighting the important stuff.

And if its any subject involving numbers, I make a formula sheet with all the formulas jotted down on them for quick reference.

Morning before exam im terribly tense to the point that I cant even stuff a toast down my throat so i take a multi-vitamin tablet and head on out. On the way I sit my friend and together we go over the whole course as quickly as we can while going over any problems, questions and theories we might have had difficulty in.

Once in the university, people usually come up to me and ask me to explain something and i usually do because I believe that by explaining to others, you're own concepts become more solid."

Can't you be more civil of showing your otaku/weeaboo behavior?

"I will admit, there are some times when I get a little overexcited however...I still keep it within limits. For example, I (unlike my cousin) do NOT go around talking in Japanese. First time she did that in front of me I gave her a really weird look and then asked her "Why are you talking like that?" and i got a reply back "You dont know what im saying?" and i was "Of course i do! Just...WHY are you talking like that?"

I'm more of an otaku online with my other otaku friends but not in front of other people. There are have been PLENTY of times when some otaku reply was at the time of my tongue but i had to bite it back. Just two weeks back, was sitting in the bus in the back with my friend and she was explaining something to me. I did the 'fist in palm' and very nearly said 'Naarohodou' But i caught the word and laughed a bit and then said, "I got it. Go on."

I do pester my friends to watch anime but i do try to refrain from silly behavior. Though...all of my notepads have an anime character drawn on them. Does that count as silly behavior? XD"

Girls with short hair

"Eh? Guys dont like girls with short hair? Who said that baloney? I say dont listen to that!

For every person, long hair is just not the best style to keep. My mom, shes got short-ish hair (bob cut) and it suits her quite well. I know that long hair wouldnt suit her that well. On some girls, long hair looks incredible but there are some girls on whom short hair looks even more amazing.

If I had my way I'd keep my hair cut short but my dad likes long hair and HATES it when i get it cut. So...just to keep my dad out of my hair (pun totally intended) i have to keep long hair which i find a pain in the ass because of the maintenance and the fact that ive got heavy hair. Which is a sign of healthy hair but maaaan...."

class in-between breaks

"I usually camp out in my university computer lab and download anime because my home net sucks XD Or we go sit in the cafeteria and have something to eat and talk. Or on our more crazy days we start playing tag or something in that variation.

If its during days close to our deadlines, we'll be sitting in the computer lab working our asses off and running here and there trying to get our work done. Its a sight to see really ;)"

Is 24 hours a day still enough for you?

"Crap yah! Especially during the days when i have my projects and presentation deadlines! I feel as though 24 hours aint enough in a day to first go to uni, study, come back, work on my project, go over it, get it printed, etc etc etc. And then to try to relax a little as well before sleeping.

Someone ought to start a petition to lengthen days XD Perhaps...28 hour days? Because there are days and periods in which 24 hours just arnt enough! So much to do! So much to do!"

Fairness

"I think that every child should be judged on the basis of their individual skills but at the same time, they should be encouraged (gently and positively) to get better. And if their other siblings are performing better than them, the parents should try to encourage the child to be more like the sibling.

Me, my dad would tell me (when i was young) 'if you come in the top 10, i'll get you something nice'. I did that, didnt get anything but a statement 'no no , you need to be in the top 3'. I knew that i couldnt do that (There used to be tough competetion in my class at that time) and i gave up at that point. Told my father point blank that i couldnt do that and that i didnt want anything from him.

I just set my own personal target of being in the top 10% of the class and or acheiving 80% and more marks/grades. Thats good enough for me. I know that I cant be as good as my older brothers who used to have excellent marks and now it doesnt bother me that much"

Claymore's Ending

"I just finished watching Claymore yesterday and i was disappointed by the ending. Raki was SEVERELY getting on my nerves with his endless crying and, im sorry to say, whining and Priscilla...WHY didn't she kill her?! *bangs head into table* MAN! I was yelled at the screen "Kill him, Kill her and move on! sheesh!"

The pacing really screwed up in the ending. The whole series had a nice pace in the beginning but then it became really rushed in the end episodes. I was sitting and blinking and wondering what the hell just happened.

So i'm going to start reading the manga now. My friends told me that the manga is much better than the anime. Though if Claymore has a second season and its gonna be on the same path as previous eps...I think its going down the gutter. "

Instrumental or Lyrical?

"I like them both but ive got a more soft spot for instrumentals than lyrical. Instrumentals are more moving than lyricals. Everytime I hear The Firebird 1919 suit i always end up with tears in my eyes. Few songs do that to me.

I find it a damn shame that no many people like listenin to instrumentals, especially my friends and classmates. I especially adore movie scores :) James N. Howard is my hero! Along with Christophe Beck who did the Buffy score and Yanni...yes, I said Yanni.

And I also adore the instrumental tracks of several anime's like Bleach, Angel Sanctuary, Tsubasa Chronicles and Full Metal Alchemist...and Ouran!"

Hating Orihime?

"Tsk thats harsh really. Let us remember that she didnt WANT to go with Aizen, she was forced into it. I mean, anyone in her situation would have done the same if you ask me.

I do believe that there is more to Orihime than we're being let on. There is definetly more to her powers than what we can see, as proven when Aizen hinted that she can effectively 'reject' events/items/things. Now thats a kick-ass power. I wanna know more about that.

As for her being helpless when the others are fighting tooth and nail to her save her. It was the same with Rukia. She was stuck in a tower, no powers no nothing while the others were out in SS kickin butt and getting butt kicked just to make sure that she wouldnt get executed.

"I used to make resolutions till 3 years ago. I'd make them and end up breaking them...in around a month.

Internet? for better or for worst?

"Its brought those people closer together who are living far away in terms of physical distance. I've got friends in Australia, Canada, England, Japan, United States etc and its all thanks to the Net. Its helped me TREMENDOUSLY when it comes to doing research and finding information for my projects. I dunno what id do without the net.

But its also gotten people to grow father apart because now they depend so much on the net. They're more comfortable talking to people online rather than face to face. But thats jes my two cents :)"

After Last Year At School

"Oh I changed a lot after I finished school. After i entered university I made a total 180 degree change. In school I was not very social, I preferred to keep close to a handful of people with only 3 people with whom i was really great friends with. I liked to stay at home rather than go out with my classmates. I didnt really get along well my class as well. Plus I really never cared about the way i looked as long as i looked presentable...barely.

Now im so much more social, I have my own place in the class (as in people know who i am and i get respect as well) I try to look nice rather than presentable, I have loads of friends and i like going out and having fun with my friends :D

I adore university much more than I ever did school."
