After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

If you have any better idea, solution to such a problem, then maybe you would love to share it.
well, if you guys are open to suggestions, i was thinking a little option on the submition page where the uploader selects if it is thier scan or not. listing the proper source for the latter, or details about the scan itself for the former. stuff like issue of the magazine, and maybe a detail or two about the scanning. just my two cents.



EDIT: i always forget something. can i contact the staff about certain users who upload the majority of the scans from my torrents?"

Are you saying that some of the scans uploaded by members in this site are actually scanned by you or other members of a different site, prior to any submission that happened here? hmm. if your claim is true, then it might be a problem.

indeed, the FAQs do note how to go about uploading other people's stuff, but i have recieved no communication from anyone that uploaded these images here.

although 200 images might be time consuming, it wouldn't hurt if you report some of them already, as to help moderators with the deletions if it has to be done. hopefully, now that you are a member, you can upload them yourself.

deletion and re-uploading isnt my goal here. i came to this website because there is just tons of great wallpapers here that i would love to see on my desktop, but unfortunately i have yet to earn my keep while others have already redeemed my previous work for cash and spent it. as long as proper credit is given and i get my cut of the profits i dont care in who's name the images are uploaded.

but in a way, are you not glad that the scans are being use creatively, in many other means? :)

i wouldnt have scanned them if i didnt want people to use the images for wallpapers and such, there is infinite potential here for creativity. i'm still waiting on result from my first "official" contribution, and i intend to continue contributing in the future.


EDIT: completely forgot to mention this, when it was actually one of my main reasons for starting this thread...

"Ive only joined recently, but i already have a big problem with things here. i just went through all 32 pages of Evangelion scans and 70% of what i saw was from Die Sterne artbook that i have torrented months ago. located here: http://datorrents.com/torrents-details.asp?id=11436 since you seem to like url referances. some people try to hide it, but others dont even bother and give it the same title as the numbering scheme in the torrent itself. ive also seen gundam and other stuff from my mecaman artworks torrent. for me that is the minor problem, since it will only be timeconsuming to go and report the 200-some images and give the same url every single time.

my bigger problem here is that i also see scans that i have posted on 4chan. if you dont know how the site works, threads only have a certain time to live and then they are deleted along with the images, so it is no longer possible to use them as a referance url, and you dont seem to have another way of reporting things.
