"I really like .hack. I've seen all of LIMINALITY and loved it. I haven't seen SIGN or Roots, yet. I watched some of UdeDen and while it's not bad, I was disappointed that it didn't follow the manga, which was really great.

I like the story, the characters, and the OST. Balmung is my favorite!

"If you like FSN, then I'd recommend Magical Lyrical Girl Nanoha. Don't mind the name, it sounds girly, but it's really wonderful. It has a style similar to FSN and great action scenes too."

Do your parents watch anime?

"My father's been watching it since before I was born. He bought Cowboy Bebop and Metropolis for himself, but i watched them, of course. :P My mother isn't that into it, but she really likes Miyazaki's movies and Samurai Champloo. My dad likes Studio Ghibli stuff, but strangely enough, he doesn't like Spirited Away. He actually watches the dubs and the subs.

Where do you store your anime?

"I store them on a shelf with the rest of my movies. My toys are either on a shelf or in basket with my other toys and the posters are on walls. The manga are with my other books on a book shelf. I love to read!"

Is their an American show that is on the same level as anime

"I second Futurama. It's humorous, but the humor is there to drive the message in further and some of the messages are very deep and dark, like, mortality, the meaning of life, love, and how sometimes, there aren't happy endings. Some of the episodes, like, the honey one and the dog one, actually got me misty.

South Park is wonderful too. It deals with serious stuff in the most casual way.

The Boondocks is another great show. It has more of a balance of humor and drama, and unlike Futurama and South Park, it isn't episodic, which is something I really like about it. The only thing I don't like is that sometimes miss the message amidst the humor, which is sad, because the underlying messages are wonderful, indeed!

I second Avatar as well. The storyline, animation, action scenes, and characters are all really great. A lot of people say it's a rip, but really, it is better than a lot of J-anime I've watched lately.

I heard a couple of people mention the Simpsons. Some of the earlier episodes make me want to agree, but a lot of he later ones have just been really weak. I fear the show's losing its edge.

I'm surprised King of the Hill hasn't been mentioned, yet. A lot of people say they like anime for the realism, but really, when's the last time you married a man that molested you? Ran into a guy that went poof and turned into a cat just 'cause you touched him? Pulled out a wand, used magic, and beat up monsters? Ended up shacked up with a bunch of guys all in love with you? Exactly. King of the Hill is one of the most true to life shows I've ever watched. I have to give it props for that alone.

Actually, the man who did King of the Hill did other good shows as well!

Oh, and Spawn! A lot of people bash American animation because it's all about the humor, but this show proves them all wrong. This is a serious show about a man that makes a deal with the devil. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone faint of heart. I saw this, like, a year ago, and it *still* gives me chills. There is a lot of blood and gore and just plain dark things happening, but the story isn't bad at all and the action is good. You feel for the antihero and are disgusted by the villains. Wonderful!

...hm, that's all I can think of right now.

EDIT: @BradM13: Kappa Mikey isn't mimicking, it's parodying. It isn't meant to be taken seriously at all. It's, like, a slightly better quality Perfect Hair Forever or a series long Fun with Weapons episode of South Park.

The story isn't that original, but the way it's executed is. It's about a boy, Tsugiri, that's the chosen one, Kusabi, and he has to kill these wish granting creatures called Alichino that grant people's wishes at the cost of their souls. It's really wonderful! I can safely recommend it."

"Oh, 1Shotz, I get it now! Yes, I also think that scene with Lucy's so-called friend was awful too. Now that I think about it, Lucy is kind of like Richard Wright in that their only friend growing up wasn't even human and they both get killed too. (T_T) Then again, Lucy had Kouta too, but...yeah...
