"If she's a smart 12 -year old girl, she'll know that school and work is gonna get rough in a few years. I was kind of like her when I was 12, but I wasn't so into anime as I am now back then. I watched a lot of television and played tons of video games, but I still studied to keep up and get B-averages. There's two things that's going to happen to her when she gets older: she's gonna drop out of school and end up watching anime/reading manga for the rest of her life locked in her room, or start to think about her future and make a few sacrifices.

Today I still play my games, some of which I played when I was 12, but I definitely know where the line is and when I should stop playing around and start studying/working hard. If she's going to grow up being productive, I think it's alright. There're lots of stuff that kids do these days that freak me out, but they're only 12, they have lots of time to think about their future, and before they know it, they either realize they took the wrong or right path.

It's not like some people who really believe that the character is real and that they will marry them, so I wouldn't classify it as wrong to hold those feelings. But I indeed dislike when things go this far... I admit to feeling the same way about Feldt Grace (Gundam 00) and some other anime girls, although I don't go as far as some people have to where they get jealous if someone else feels the same way I do. I just think they're cute XD

She likes those qualities he has, and possibly since no one she knows has those qualities, she focuses on something that does. You know you can't marry the character, but it's no different than dreaming of the person you think is right for you. It only gets serious if the person actually believes they can marry this character, as that is taking it a step too far.

Kind of a one-sided love story."

Thing you do right before an exam?

"I have probably the most important exam in my life in March.

The stress is pretty much killing me. At the moment I'm browsing dictionaries and reading my 1 - 6 Grade maths books.

In the weekend before the exam (the exam's on Monday), I'd probably go over my maths and physics textbooks and after that. I'll probably go to bed early too, and on the actual exam day I would get up early.

After that everything's up to my moderately brilliant brain.

That's pretty much what I do before each important exam (but my actual actions vary of course...), but for lesser tests I don't need to study.

But sometimes I follow the following scenario:

I attend all classes and never skip so I get all the materials and notes I need. Everyday I review the new stuff for about 60 minutes just to understand and remember anything important and revise it later for 30 mminutes (That's the best way for learning, around an hour for actually learning + 1/2 of the time spent learning should be used for reviewing the material). If you do that throughout your semester, when tests, midterms and exams come it's usually a breeze. I still study up until the exam days, but it's still kind of stressful, especially if it's a subject you really are struggling with. Stuff like playing video games and watching anime become hard to enjoy when you're so stressed. Study and understand all you can. Usually the day before the exam, I study for about two hours in the morning (wake up at like 8-9) and relax for the rest of the day. Well yeah, but mostly I go with the scenario above."

Exam Results Failed: Your Reactions?

"I have little experience in this matter.

In my whole life I've just seen one girl crying over her exam results (C instead of her regular As). As for myself, I have never failed an exam. I've never gotten below 75%, even without studying.

But a test or an exam is a challenge for us, whether you pass or fail this exam,it is a just one of the many challenges you will face in your entire life... But I do feel failing an exam is necessary in order to make one stronger.

So yeah: failing an exam shouldn't result in committing a suicide. In order to deal with life, you need this experience."

Why did you like Code Geass

"The shopkeeper of an Anime store informed me about Code Geass. he knew that I was a Gundam SEED fan and I was into mech types of Anime and she also knew that I like CLAMP designs. He suggested this Anime to me and gave it a shot. I watched the first 3 episodes of Code Geass and I immediately fell in love with the anime. I was amazed with the character designs and mech designs, plus the plot was really something to look forward too.

Now for the characters...

The characters hold some Gundam SEED character essence in them. It just made me feel that way. Lelouch reminds me a bit of Shinn Asuka, Suzaku reminds me of Kira Yamato, Stellar Loussier for C.C., and Karen is definitely like Cagalli Yula Athha.

I thought the plot would be similar to Gundam SEED but I was wrong. Still, I'm glad it has a unique story compared to other mech animes.

So the main thing I like about Code Geass are mech designs :P

I'm a big Gundam SEED fan so I thought since everybody else also seemed to like the series, I decided to check it out too. The character and mech designs are great, plus the plot was really something to look forward too."

What happend if Zombies Take over ur Town

"A bit about assumptions and some answers to common problems:

1. Speed - Not necessarily slow, but since the definition of "zombie" would be living dead the zombie's body should have already started to decay, so it would be a bit slower than the person who got turned into one. But on the other hand, they could be faster and stronger too, since maybe the body has started to mutate.

2. Eating habits - As said before, probably flesh, since this is the most widely available type of food.

3. Turning others into zombies - Not necessarily. Only if the zombies were created by a virus or some other biological organism or toxin. If the zombies would have been created by other means, like radiation, I believe they couldn't infect others.

Swimming: Since the brain isn't fully functional, I guess they would be unable to do. But since they don't need to breathe, they can just walk under water.

Military: Sticking with a mobile squad would be a good idea, since the ability to rapidly change location is pretty essential, and the vehicle could also be armoured (even more).

The most sufficient way of immobilising or "killing" zombies (I believe you can't kill anyone who's already dead) would be damaging their CNS, like shooting them to their spinal cord or head should be sufficient.

For close combat I would equip myself with a katana..."

If glasses suit her, she's certainly more attractive. Although I don't really like glasses (I'm nearsighted), when a girl wears them and if they suit her, the glasses make her look a lot better, at least in my opinion.

"In short, Air Gear was great!

The anime seemed fresh to me and is up on my top 3 list next to Gundam (00, SEED and SEED Destiny) and Full Metal Panic!. I've read some chapters of the manga but I didn't really like it - it must be the animation and style what impressed me the most about Air Gear. They ended this anime prematurely in my opinion, and a second series would really do it justice.

"A solid ending is what I prefer. (Unlike Elfen Lied...)

Having potential to expand is always nice, especially if you enjoy a series. However, if it never properly concludes, it always feels kind of empty when you reach the last episode. It's the only thing that REALLY bothers me about Elfen Lied. The manga left room for future stories if the author chose to continue the story, but also gave a conclusion to how the story would end. That makes an anime or a manga monumentally stronger (but it also has to be good to start ).

Sure, wanting more means it was great, but it could also mean it wasn't enough. If it left you satisfied, it's more likely that it was both good and long enough.
Besides, wanting more leaves the door open for possibly crappy cash-ins like spinoffs and sequels XD. Of course...the sequels could possibly be good, but if you're satisfied with it, you don't need a sequel.
Ending's that wrap up everything nicely are good.
But sometimes they bring back a character from the dead and you are like "Oh my god the hot guy is back from the dead!" But then the series ends. then you start wondering if there is going to be another series or not..."

Gundam 00 = Represent the world...??

"I was reading Wikipedia (yay! It has again proven to be useful for something). Gundam 00 is the only Gundam series to use our current calendar, Gregorian calendar. So refers he to current political debates like energy crisis, fossil fuels running out (seems familiar, eh?) civil wars, the Ireland war. This series is indeed very interesting and I really want to know what happens in the end.
But it is a bit weird how they want to be the pain which cause the world to unite together. They seem like the bad guy in this partially since all the 3 nations power are balanced and there are already no wars between them. To me it seems like the Celestial Being is actually causing more trouble and military conflicts that the 3 super nations themselves. Their existence will only cause the 3 nation to catch up to their technological level than probably end the lives of the Gundam pilot cause they are fighting the world themselves and it won't be long till the GN particle technology gets discovered by the nations (the Union's already working on it). Than it will probably cause the 3 nations to start a war on each other to test the technology.
It's a consequence to fight nations with technology which surpass them, it only fuels them to develop technology at equal level.
It would seem that Gundam 00's world is indeed very similar to ours, except for the technology."

Are we meant to live forever?

If we were meant to live forever, we would probably live forever. Even though most of us don't want to die, we all will eventually. And that's it.

If one was to live longer (forever) ... What would be the meaning and purpose of the one's life be? Are you to assume one remains "healthy" and "functional" without the crippling effects of age? Are you implying that we reach the part where we can simply delay death further? It really depends on the situation and I doubt we really know till we can reach or at least observe that state. What about effects of wars and other causes of death that is not determined by age limit? How will perceptions change about war, etc.?

I don't even want to think about living for ever... That would be too boring. During that time I could obtain everything there is to obtain and do everything there is to do. It would probably come to me ending my life myself.

On a side note, there was an article about this topic, extending human's lifespan, in some magazine. I was kind of disturbed and frightened reading that. It was told that when humankind entered that phase, humans would live for more that 200 or even 1000 years."

"Being fully original nowadays is quite impossible.

There are a lot factors which will influence your decision and likings (media, friends, parents, community in general). Like when choosing a username - on popular forums that can be quite hard (unless you use numbers) - people think alike.

Coming up with brand-new ideas is extremely hard and harldy ever starts one the idea from scratch. So one has to base the idea on something which has already been created before.

"Yes.
I play Volleyball 2 - 3 times a week and also other sports (PE class, lol). Also from time to time I also go jogging and every once in a while I try and go to the gym every other day. I usually do mostly upper body strength like bench press, curls, and butterflies."

Although nowadays that's not a problem, all monitors have lairs of that fancy material which absorbs that radiation and therefore protect our eyes.

...If I found out? Most of my teachers quite old, roughly around 40 - 55. Maybe I would associate with them a bit more, but nothing would really change. But I still wouldn't think about asking for test answers, as it has been suggested before, it would be too embarrassing.

But if there was a younger teacher who likes anime, I would be quite happy :) Someone about my age to discuss anime with."
