This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"Hehe I agree! Somehow it's really refreshing, probably because it's so ridiculously funny. Plus Hatori Bisco sensei's bishies are so very sexy. That usually helps.Back on the topic...maybe the current wave of popularity for all things Korean in the Far East will catch on in the West and help get more Korean manhwa on the map. And Evol: the Tarot Cafe by Park Sang-Sun is another Korean gothic style!"

"Hmm other than manga related stuff, I collect zodiac artwork (those pics that go with each sun sign or Chinese zodiac sign), and fashion ad campaigns and editorials from large size magazines - it's a great way of building up a photograhpy reference portfolio!"View

"Which is your top favourite anime moment? One which sticks in your mind and gives you goosebumps when you see it. Mine is in BSSM S (can't remember which episode), when Haruka and Michiru are driving Usagi to the Tokyo tower to rescue Mamo-chan and Haruka asks Usagi what she thinks of sacrificing one person for the good of others. It makes Usagi think of Neptune and Uranus and there's a very nice turn-about shot of Haruka and Michiru in their sailor senshi gear; they're racing through a dimly-lit tunnel in Haruka's sports car and Ai no Senshi is blasting away in the background - it's the coolest scene ever."View

"I like Fye... looks more like a Western name. TRC is amazing, it's my fav CLAMP creation along with Clover. The art style is drool worthy, and the crossovers and parallel storyline with xxxHolic are all very clever."

"Manga, or anime, or both! At the moment I'm collecting about 11 different ongoing manga series (real copies...I have lost count on how many scanlations I'm following), plus the several illustration books I have my eyes glued on...I average at around £30-40 (that's about US$50-70) a month. And I don't think I should count how much I have spent in total on my whole collection U_UThat's just manga and artbooks! Can't imagine the figures for avid collectors of doujinshi, shitajiki, telephone cards, cels, models...oh and cosplayers sometimes make huge investments in their costumes..."

"I read Evol's old thread about manhwa and was sad that people didn't seem to like/know very much about them. This short article explains it really well, this feature talks about it in a bit more length. I wouldn't say I know a lot of Korean manhwa, but the ones I've read so far have all been really good - in terms of both artwork and story. Korean manhwa style is very distinctive from Japanese manga...I like how it's different.Maybe you've read them and didn't realise they were Korean!
Licensed titles around include Priest, Model, Demon Diary, Ragnorak (actually loads of people know about Ragnorak), in scanlated titles there are Goong, Unplugged Boy...interested? See this specialist manhwa scanlation group.
Threads of Time by Mi Young Noh is my current favourite, it's a time travelling, martial arts, historical ride on the back of teenage angst and self discovery of the story's main character, with ancient Korea and invading Mongols being the backdrop. It's shounen in style (aimed at the boys) with lots of fight sequence scenes, naked girls, blood, gore and violence (well they are at war...). The artwork is also amazing. Convinced? Lol. =p"
