After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"Whether it's a joke or not, if you're not smart enough to avoid being robbed another time after having learned from the first time, maybe you should deserve getting robbed some more. :P At least being robbed by women seducing and distracting you is way better than being robbed at gunpoint."View
Userbar for anime fan?
3 years 8 months ago
"Possibly. :PReally, userbars are just human applications for meta-information we usually come across in web pages and the like. I think they're just a lazy guy's way to express some things about his personality. Why not write a brief biography page about yourself (you got space dedicated to that in your userpage) that actually details you and your personality besides using simple userbars that nobody really understands as much as they would if they read a real biography?"

Harry Potter banned?!
3 years 8 months ago
"I like how some outrageous people tend to ban things of pure entertainment and literary bliss, for a reason that doesn't even exist in the real world. [/sarcasm] I think the whole ordeal of banning books is just ridiculous. For example, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a really good book by Mark Twain, offering insight on the conflicts of a sound heart and a deformed conscience, yet many areas have been wanting to ban the book because the use of some derogatory terms and poor spelling. I enjoy Harry Potter as a good, well-written fictional story -- it shouldn't be banned just because of what it deals with. It's all fictional anyway, and there for reading pleasure."View
unbelievable PS3 news!!!!
3 years 9 months ago
"They say the PS3 has the processing power equivalent to about 1% of the human brain. If you think about how fast we process things, that's really fast. I'm just wondering if, despite all these cool features and revolutionary concepts, it'll be worth it to even bother buying such a console in the end. Even though it has all these things, I sometimes forget that it's a game console, obviously it's trying to be more than a mere gaming console, like the XBox 360, it seems like the PS3's trying to emulate the purpose of a computer. I don't think PS3 will succeed well as an alternative to a computer... oh wait, it won't. But I'm trying to judge a book by its cover here, I'm willing to wait and see what it's worth when it comes out retail this spring."View
World's most impatient kid

"Wow... that kid has a LOT of stamina if he can last that long for like, 4 minutes straight. Then again, that's a pretty long time for a computer to "warm up," according to the description on the webpage. :P"View
Journals

"I don't have an actual, physical journal now, and I never had one since I was born, I was one of the those guys who were ridiculed with society thinking that "journals are for wussies! Who does that?!?" Obviously, now, I so refute that idea, and I keep an online journal on my personal website (see profile). Although I'm not all that interested in talking about my life ("today I did X, then Y, and then a bit of Z"), I like to write about random things and life here and there. I keep a journal not to chronicle my days, but to look back at it, some 20 years from now, and amuse myself with what I once wrote as a young kid. I know a few people who did this, and it's a really good wake-up call of how blissful their young years were.Journals, in short, are awesome!"

[Game Discussion] Anyone play Guild Wars
3 years 9 months ago
"Guild Wars is one of the very few online RPGs which incorporate competetive aspects and actual skill to getting the best out of the game. I've been playing since day one of the World Preview Event, around a year ago, so safe to say, I have a lot of experience and skill at the game (both PvE and PvP), but I've been having trouble finding a really good guild for PvP/GvG and occassional PvE. If you have a serious, excellent guild looking for members, please consider me. ;)I'm not as hooked onto the game as I used to be, probably because I've done it all and seen it all. I'm waiting for the Factions expansion to be released so I can get hooked on again. It seems to promise a lot of things for the future of the game."

what whould you do if

"I have no experience in this, because social relationships/love is not exactly an area of expertise of mine, but I do have something to say to this. There's really no valid excuse to make if you've been found out cheating -- just don't cheat in the first place!"

is it fair?
3 years 9 months ago
"When it boils down to individuality and personal opinion, the topic of tattoos and piercings is on the money. I'm personally against this act, just for the simple fact it's being prejudiced against a trend (if you want to call it that) or a style. I agree that for the most part, tattoos and piercings are not for me, nor can I stand seeing other people ruin their bodies like that, but I respect their individuality of doing so. To pass an act restricting what a person likes to do (have tattoos and piercings, in this case) is a violation of being able to express ourselves freely. It's all a matter of personal opinion."View
APPLE VIDEO IPOD?!?!?!
3 years 9 months ago
"Pretty soon those video iPods will replace those portable media center tablets which came before it, and perhaps even the computer itself if Apple tries hard enough (not very likely in the near future, but hell, just hypothetical). I personally despise iPods, not only because they're overrated, but because of poor sound fidelity as well. Compared to my Creative Zen Micro mp3 player, any iPod is horrible in terms of sound. Plus, they are also a tad expensive for their buck (the big hard drive ones, anyway). I admit that the iPod family has a sleek design, which gives off a nice aesthetic feel to it, but I like to go for internal quailty over external quality, hence why I chose a Creative mp3 player over an iPod when given the choice."View
Shakugan no Shana

"I got my eyes currently on this anime series, and so far, after 16 episodes, I still have good opininons of it. It's an excellent series, I recommended it to my friends, and they liked it too. It gives me a nice taste of action and fantasy, while still mixing in little ducts of comedy and perhaps romance to enrich it. The recent new ending theme is quite awesome too -- love the artist's voice. Hell, both of the ending themes were well-done. I hope to see the next episiodes just as good as the previous ones when they come out. :)"View
Dreamcast what happened?
3 years 9 months ago
"I know, it's a shame my favorite console (and perhaps all of ours, since we're here in this thread) had to be the one to be withdrawn from the heavy competition. Personally I saw the Dreamcast as being more fun and sleek-looking than the PS2 -- who does bulky black designs anyway? Sleek, one ones own. Though I rarely play on my Dreamcast anymore, due to lack of games for the most part, I mostly keep mine (and my brother's, whose DC somehow got into my possession, so that's two of them now) as "antique" items, if you will, and play them every now and then I feel like owning it up in a classic like Virtua Tennis or one of the Sonic Adventure games for good ol' leisure. It'd be awesome if Sega can come up with the resources to release a new console, that would most likely run circles around the others, but given their current situation and stand, it's almost impossible for them to come out with one in the future. They even said so themselves. :( However, their legacies will live on, so as long as the power button is still lighting up. :D"

Hi! How was your weekend?
3 years 9 months ago
"I don't know about you, but I appreciate peoples' consideration of me and how other people care about my well-being, whether they really mean it or not. I guess you get annoyed by friendliness, huh? Imagine a world where people didn't exchange even the slightest gestures of courtesy like "How are you," the world would be silent... very silent. Nobody knows the true value of consideration and politeness until they are gone."View
reALY AT a loss, Need ideAs...

"All your other concerns have already been answered/addressed, so I'll just add my two cents with a note about the image quality. Personally, having watched both Rozen Maiden and Rozen Maiden ~Traumend~, I would know that the paint, oily texture and effects match the anime and how the characters are typically drawn perfectly, so I wouldn't be too much concerned with image quality -- I think it looks good that way. The flowers are indeed too repetitive, try adding color variety to them, for shades of orange get dull after awhile, especially when trying to make them fill up just about half the wallpaper. Hope this helps, and good luck with your wallpaper!"View
A universal language
3 years 9 months ago
"Again, as I said before, people around the world are already learning English -- well, at least most of the them anyway. It's probably true that as the computer industry grows, the English language will grow too, since a lot of the computer scripting languages and programming are based off of English text and grammar, but that's not the only case in which English is becoming more universally spoken. As I said before, primarily due to the large influx of western influence around the world, Engilsh is the most spoken second language. So, technically (if you refer to my first post in this thread), English is slowly becoming a universal language that we can use to communicate with each other around the world."View
Who would you die for?
3 years 9 months ago
"Alright, before we get too carried away (and before I answer this), let's stop and think for a second -- this is a mistake which a lot of people make when it comes to thinking about it. Think about your parents, your brother/sister, closest friend, and other loved ones for a second, are you really willing to let yourself die to let another loved one live? As much as we would reflexively say so to make ourselves sound good, about half the people I come across who say that actually admit to being afraid to do so, or actually won't because they value their life more. Now for my two cents. For the most part, I would probably give in to fear or selfishness instead and not be willing to give up my life for the sake of another loved one. But every time I think about it, I would very much like to think that I can and would die for another. I probably won't ever really know for sure until a loved one and I get placed into a life-threatening situation, there I can find out for sure whether I am willing to die for that person or not. For the time being, though, I'll never find out 'til then."

"Oh yes, I see a bunch of wars between countries -- it's becoming almost an everyday thing now. What I don't see are wars between countries just because of differences in language? That's a bit mundane. I think either Arv didn't state his opinion right or is fubarred inside the head (no offense)."
