"I don't expect the anime industry to die out anytime soon in the near future, especially with a large US anime fan support (us!) -- it'll only inspire anime creators in Japan to create even more and better anime which will keep our interests up for the ages to come."

"Just as you can't live without TV, I just won't stop watching anime. I don't know if it's an addiction though, since I don't get that instant urge like "zOMG need to watch anime like now!" like smoking or something. :P I just watch it because it's awesome, and by the looks of things and how much enjoyment I get from watching them, I don't think I'll ever get bored of watching it."

"I played badminton when I was really small, then I realized that I was better suited for the intensity of tennis. I don't recall much of how well I played when I was a kid. Is hitting the ball (or whatever that thing's called) successfully over the net considered as being good? :P"

"You say nothing. People like what they like, and dislike what they dislike, and obviously have their own opinion of things. The justification of games being a waste of time is not any different than the justification of anime being a waste of time (along with anything else in the world). Just say something smart in return like you don't care, like "Well, nobody says you have to play games" or something. Just ignore what they say, after all, you don't have to live after the world's opinion (well, over where I live anyway). :P"

"If you're trying to do critical cleaning with magic wand, it's not going to work. The magic wand is when you do broad cleaning, but if you want to fine-tune those edges and smoothen those jagged edges, that's where 1600% zoom and a 1px brush, pencil, or an eraser comes in. The more pixels you work with individually, the better and cleaner the scan will be -- just be sure to zoom out regularly to see your progress and to make sure you won't get disorientated by the magnification. Good luck with your texture composition, don't make it look too plain or redundant, add chaos and and variety in all sorts of areas."

"If you remove your logo, your wallpaper is... dead. Your characters are there, but nothing else, and for a simple wallpaper with no composition/texture at all, I personally think white would be better than black (but that's just me :)). Since you have nothing to begin with, I think you should try to use your creativity and figure out something to fill up the background, or make something simple and blissful, if that's what you're aiming for. One useful advice I can give right now is to clean up your scans a bit more. You did an okay job with extracting and cleaning, but you can definitely do more to it, especially with Primula's hair (and maybe the others' too).

I think the soft one, in my opinion, seems to show a loss of quality, so I would stick with the sharp one, if I were you. Hope this helps. ^_^"

torrentchan: You can try to give the cartoonish background more color variety if you want it to match your character better, or you can do something like that to the character if you don't want to mess with the background. Otherwise, it looks alright, but you could do even more with it."

"Well, you can't do much about other people's opinion, so just leave it be and don't make a huge fuss over it. If people think anime are for kids, who cares -- it doesn't mean we can't watch it because we're not kids. To each his own. :) Besides, some people think other people are "weird" for doing all other things anyway."

I just enclosed your navigation area and the "Anime-Crusade.com" text into two seperate table rows. You're not doing anything wrong (well, you kind of are, but you get the idea, hypothetically). Basically, the browser is simply following what you typed. If you put two table cells in a table row, the table cells are going to go together horizontally -- if you want your stuff to go together vertically (which is what you're trying to do, if you understand what I mean), that's where the table row comes in. You use a table cell to make things go horizontally, whereas you use the table row to make things go vertically. Hope this has helped, if there are any other problems, you know where to find me. :)

*Edit:* Here's a link to your fixed webpage, I hope you don't mind that I "ripped" off your site in order to help solve your problem. Just look at the source code of the file and copy it, it should be roughly the same. All I did was add the two table rows which solve the problem."

"What seems to be your problem? Is it the marquee area going way too far off the right side of the page, or is the navigation area not going where it needs to be? If it's the marquee, you're going to have to remove it altogether. <marquee> is not a standard tag, and should not ever be used, and you can't do much to style it up/modify its display either. So if that's your problem, you'd need to remove the tag completely (and use a JavaScript alternative instead).

"Okay, I haven't found a thread on here about it yet (or it just might be my crappy usage of the "Search" feature). Anyway, there's a controversy about this "banned" Xbox 360 ad that was leaked to the public recently and stuff. Some say it is a rip-off of similiar ideas and some say it's just plain-out hilarious. I could really care less about the controversies, I just love this ad because it's awesome and funny. I heard that Microsoft chose not to release this ad or something, but there's a chance it might show up on January.

"Well, when I googled up some free partitioning software, this one stood out the most after reading its description. You can check out Partition Logic at their site -- never used the program myself though, all I know is that it's free and it sounds good. It requires that you need to burn the program onto a floppy disk or CD and boot it from there. If you don't know how to boot or any of that fancy stuff, then this won't be of any use to you. :P

Doesn't the trial version of PartitionMagic let you at least let you do some stuff to your partitions?"

"B and C sound like conventional ideas you could do without much trouble. Trying to do option A would just own your bandwidth (and perhaps disk space) shortly after you decide to do it. I think most of the people here would appreciate having their wallpapers and stuff hosted, instead of having to go through ImageShack hell and sites like that."
