Will Bleach become the new DBZ?

"Yes, Bleach will become the new DBZ, but it is definetly soo much cooler then dbz, and hopefully they wont totally ruin everything and put everything on a continuos loop like they did on DBZ. One thing i never liked about dbz was the ataks the blew through planets but just gave some bad scratchs that bleed less the papercuts. Course blach has a bunch of deathblows and finishing moves that blow through mountains and make the enemy really bloody...but almost never really kills them. But its an improvment."

Ichigo's hollow form or ordinary form

"The Hollow form is way cool, he looks crazy evil and i think it goes very nicely with his bankai outfit. Besides i feel that his mask is really the coolest of all the other Vaizard masks, it give him a chaotic-good type of feel."

do you try to learn japanese from watching episodes

"Well, you do kinda pick it up after watching a whole bunch of anime subbed episodes, not just of bleach of basically anything. But its more like you learn to identify certain sounds of japanese and have a vague conept of meaning behind each. Its not like you can learn how to really speak it properly just by watching a few hundred episodes of bleach... course you do hear jokes on how people pick up english from john wayne movies, who knows maybe its possible, but my freind has walls and walls of anime that hes watched, and his dearest wish is to b able to speak japanese which he apparently cant pick up from just watching weeks and weeks of anime. Im seriosuly takling about walls and walls of the stuff, and thats just the anime. not ocunting the manga and the collectable items and stuff..."

"Body is done fairly nicely. as is the hair in the first pic. The eyes are slightly off but thats alright, its not highly noticeable but something you should apply to future drawings. I find the wings in the back arent so great, wings are nicer for larger pictures and full body shots, yours is just torso and head so its hard to work the wings in without making them seem puny and make it lok like your trying too hard to fit them in. Other then that, their are minor touch ups here and there, but overall you draw quite wonderfully."

"Most of the drawings seem out of porportion in some way or another. Trying to get 1 angle but contradicting it by drawing something in a different size. Also for you more recent drawings some seem unmoving and fake like 2d people in odd positions. There are other drawings that i like and also other that i can't criticize because they are of a completely different style. It seems quite varied."

"Hair looks like its gelled into place, completely without movement. Hands for pic2 are far too small considering the size of the arm. Shoulders are also too broad to be female, the oribinal design of the dress is intresting, but as a final copy it looks very flat and overly plain without any indication of angle or light."

"Shading in itself is admirable but the baic shape is lacking. His face is fine, its average aswell as the hair, but anything below the neckline seems hard and unmoving. You want a sort of smooth feeling, make some folds in the cloth. The hand is really terrible and it looks far too 2 dimensional. Incorporate all sides of the cloak when possible."

"This really is an amazing manga, I really did'nt think it would intrest me and i read because i had nothing else to read, but now its definetly in my top ten or even 5. C'ant say for sure cause i have alot of really great manga. They make the hero seem dark and i found i disliked him at the begining but then you see what type of world he lives in and how he is a true realist in such a harsh reality, something i imagine is terribly difficult to become. The story is just so amazing aswell as the art, really beautiful. I hope they generate a little more love between Sando and Munsu. Munsu may seem cold and unfeeling at times but once in awhile he shows that he does have a heart. Definetly one of the best out there!"

"Okay well the PROBABLE outcome of this would be him pairing up with either Nodoka or Asuna. We'll thats what i think is most probable, but hey the story is still going and alot can still happen for him to develope a better relationship with the other girls. The coolest pairing would be him and Evangeline, i mean shes an immortal vampire beauty who is so extremely all powerful. The thing is he is still a ten year old kid, I will assume that there is gonna be a time gap at some point in this story. I stated this before somewhere I think. Like the Naruto time gap where he gets older or the Love Hina time gap. That would make things more intresting and also it would make him soo very cool, there really is no ending in sight currently and i doubt they would continue the story following him alll the way until hes 15 without time gaps. Not saying that they could'nt just saying that its probably improbable lol."

"I never read Tenjou Tenge, I dunno something just kept me away from it for some reason. I began to read it at one point but got into like 3 chapters before i fazed out of it again. I think ill read it soon, I've gotten some good comment aobut it...but also some bad ones. I just can't put a finger on what exactly is keeping me away from it."

"I'm still reading the manga, It's very good and it goes on past the ending from the anime. In my opinion I find it's a much better story instead of having such a rushed ending. Although they both follow the same story more or less you can see where the storyline changes and splits in two seperate stories. One for the anime and a much nicer longer one for the manga, of course currently the manga seems to have a much more iminent doom for the human race then the anime. I highly recomend for those who have seen the anime and enjoyed it, to read the manga aswell."

"Well... not my style of drawing, yours seem to be an older style of drawing and some characters are porportionally inaccurate. You have done alot better then 65% of the art ive seen in "artist alley" board. shading looks nice but everything looks a little...false. Anyways you have alot of talent im just giving you a hard time so don't let it get you down. Looks like you spent alot of time and effort on your drawings. Looks cool though... but like i said really not my style."

"Shading nice and you have alot of talent just remember that pencil has its limitations, and basic sketches are good too. Knowing where and when to stop is key in pencil drawings. Also youre drawings are positioned somewhat unaturally like their stiff. Keep works at it, find a character that you love to draw and place him/her in different enironments and positions. Not everything has to be shaded and emboldened..."

"Very good series definetly one of my favorites. The Character design (art wise) is somewhat simple but combined with great background asscesories and other extras it certainly gets a 10/10. The are soo many girls tho so simple character design is good otherwise everyone looks too similar. Storyline is extreme fantasy which i really enjoy, they manage to make it so you learn about every student in the class amazing that they thought out a unique personality to all the students. The fight scenes are amazing aswell and the comedy is enjoyable aswell. I kinda get the feeling theres going to be a whole time shift volume if you know what i mean. Like Negi goes away for a few years and theres sort of a shift. Like Naruto there was the shift in Naruto where it skips the time when Naruto was training and stuff. They also have this shift in Love Hina for only 6 months. This will detract from the whole 10 year old genius thing but this shoudlnt happen for a another few volumes. All in all an amazing story with great art and great comedy aswell as keeping you on the edge and letting you wonder about some unexplained mysteries aswell as keeping you cheering for Negi. He is really cool in all his fight scenes."

TSUBASA~Reservoir Chronicles--for SERIOUS discussion

"Well I really love this manga, at first i was hesitant because all the characters were recycled and the storyline seemed so predictable, in addition to that i found the whole "going on a journey to collect something" type storyline was boring and Syaorans heroics were getting boring aswell. That is of course since i watched the anime before reading the manga. I decided to read mainly because I was bored and I thought that even though the characers are recycled it isnt fair to completely disregard new personality and setting. But I really like how its has taken a darker turn and how Sakura got some much needed character developement. The continuous damsel in distress routine was getting tiresome and I love how they change the endless routine of searching. Kurogane and Fye change aswell with the whole group seemingly breaking apart. The last few chapters I read were really good since it changed EVERYTHING and my opinion of this story changed dramatically. I dragged myself through the first 90% of the story but now I really cannot wait for the next chapter. I see now that the first 90% of the manga was for character developement BETWEEN characters and better understanding of each. The sure took there time with it but if its not going to endlessly continue like that then and the storyline will unfold perhaps a little slowly but making it a long enjoyable series, im sure i will keep this as one of my favorites."

"Well i get that quite a bit the whole "why are you still watching cartoons" lecture every week or so and then i lose my temper and say something smart and sarcastic and get into a big arguement. When someone says something is childish it is merely because it is something they don't normally do and they only tolerated it because you were younger then them. Some people auomatically associate anime with cartoons and deem it childish. Also what helix said has some truth in it but there is a difference between different age groups of anime. "

"Well all anime isnt the exact same, but it is true that there is a sort of foundation. But without that sort of foundation and basic style it wouldnt be "japanese anime" they would merely be cartoons instead. The japanese some how perfected cartoons into anime and now it has a basis of big eyes and odd lokking hair. Besides not all anime has giant massive eyeballs and it has changed dramatically over the years."

"In my opinion Shakugan No Shana has the best animation art color play of any anime series ive seen. The storyline is typical and seems somewhat predictable but executed nicely so it is in fact very intresting and not as common place as it might seem."

"Well anime wiseid say full metal alchemist is the best since They ruined Naruto with fillers and Inuyasha just kept going on and on with such a predictable storyline. Of course Naruto Shippuden has made Naruto very intresting again and so right now im enjoying it alot. Manga wise though everything is slightly diffrent"

Anime: Entertainment or Art?

"Usually TV anime series are more entertainment then art, some movies on the other hand are Art rather then entertainment. Its rather hard to make moving pictures into an art because drawing the same image over and over again...well it takes the art form out of it. Thats why we have scans that are for those who want to see Art in anime form."
