Is anime that much better than manga?

"Well both has it's good and bad points.
you can watch anime, but you'll still have to read the subtitles if you watch fansubs. mangas have better art, but it doesn't move and you have to read. plus there is a limited selection while i think that in animes you have a broader range of titles for you to choose from.
basically, both are different and it is really impossible to say which is better."

IMO, its very difficult to compare real life vs animated movies. These 2 are completely different genres and have completely different kinds of storyline, and not to mention, people expect different things from real life and animated movies.

i completely agree. like in evangelion how they were trying to make a live action of it, but now it's stalled or something. it is completely impossible for them to replicate something as awesome as that. it just won't be the same. not that i blame them for trying."

"Personally i wouldn't be able to do it. no matter how much i hate that person or something, i still don't think i would be able to. its just horrible to kill someone. you could say that i'm afraid and thats true. i hate seeing blood, i don't faint or anything, its just really disgusting. i get alittle creeped out just killing an insect. you can't kill someone without killing alittle part of yourself, that's how i see it."
