After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Ive been painting a scan for a wallpaper on and off for about a week now. Hopefully when the kids go back to school tomorrow and hubby is in work ill be able to finish finally.

"If you want a desktop go for PC, but if you want mobility try the Apple laptops. there's hardly any better mobile pc's than apple macbooks running intel - not only out-of-the-box ready but with superb OS X which is light-years in front of win XP; but if you need, the ability to install and use OS X and XP side by side is a great thing. though i would wait until they release the OS X 10.5 aka Leopard - this will be an evolution, a next level in user-friendly operating system. don't bother about Vista. it'll be as usuall and with some recent creepy licencse agreement changes, it get's event worse [i.e. after upgrading the motherboard, your Vista will no longer be legit to install o:]"

HELP with flash player problem

I already installed it through fire fox and IE. I also already got, flash player, shockwave player, and flash. But when I look in my computer for any folders related to flash, nothing appears from macromedia, is that normal?


i dont have either. the players at least. you should have a flash folder if you installed flash application [i mean mx or 8, the designer], but it should not affect the flash player itself. i had similiar problems with sony ericsson update utility and installing flash through IE as an activeX plugin helped. but you said you did that, so... maybe refer to that sony app support or something?

first of all, what kind of ipod is that?! and the cord and the earspeakers are completly messed up. the earplug has different shape, the cord gets thinner after the splitter [where's the splitter anyway] and the earspeakers have different shape. also, the ipod charas are _not_ completly black , they have color parts that emphasise clothes or hair. refer to apple.com/ipod to see the proper ipod and ipod-chara look.

also the new ipod look has grunge in it, so this may somehow fill the emptyness of your wall if you use that.

also, the ipod is not completly painted in the near-his-hand places. check that out. good luck."

then _for-crying-out-loud_ write it in the Guide!! i would not have done such a shameful thing if i knew that, now would i? i just read the guide twice and even put a search on it lookin for 'screen' / 'screencap'/'screenshot', and the only screen there was 'wide screen'...

Is it clear? I don't care if you find a 1280x1024 screenshot, we do not accept collages of screenshots because they will always end up being poor quality (blurry, sometimes with artifacts and so on). It's not our problem if you insist on your line, we have a set of rules that we follow.


has my artifacts? hardly any. shouldnt it be blurry? the concept was it should.

Alienzero, as the AP's guide tells you, we don't accept wallpapers that are based 'directly' on a screenshot. When you said 'recg' I was expecting you to recolour and redo the screenshot, not to clean it. That's a different thing. I wasn't the one who rejected it but looking at your link I guess I would have most likely rejected that as well. Again, though you say you don't want to do it, I think that either recolouring/redrawing that scene or vectoring it would be the only possible way.


ok, well... correct me if i am wrong but do you think i'd find a 1280x1024 black lagoon screencap? [indeed there is a 1280 hdtv but i use SHS dtv ones...]

time for explanation, if it's still not enough, then fine, i'll end this thread once and for all.

1. the maid consists of 3 screencaps:

2. then i merged these 3 screencaps, of course the merge lines were clearly visible, but on this screen you can see the final maid merging, though for example smoke is not merged yet [on the right]. also, the raw maid is outlined, the outer stuff fire etc was clone-stamp-painted by me [no direct copy/paste]. also you can see the difference of quality.

3. the final product which was rejected is indeed blurred, but all in all it's fire, it supposed to be like that. the text is also purposfully blurred.

anyway, i dont want to sound offensive. maybe i've expected too much from mods. maybe i did crap. but if so, then i have to rethink my attitude towards walling. even more considering the pieces that are recently being accepted to AP....."

"Ok, i died XD and got rejected! [why wasnt i fined thats another question, but whatever...]. i could rant about it with some certain arguments, but anyway the mod says i dont meet the quality standards of AP.

so tell me whats wrong? if it's about the blur, then i'll just trash this wall, cause i dont have time nor will to vector it [it was 3h spontaneous work, so kinda vectoring does not make sense ;p]. thought i cant agree, it looks ok with the blur on my desktop. anyway:
