the thing is, no matter what others say, iPod _is_ the top market holder mp3 player, and yes, it lacks a lot of features, and yes, it's expensive, and yes, it's troublesome [i personally didn't have problems, but heard a lot of differet cases, starting from scratches on broken nano screens ending].

it may be irreasonable, but it's a fact that Apple knows how to sell things and create loyal customers. apart from the fact that they make on of the best designed electronic gadgets..."

the original one has blue but grainy lighting parts on her body, why not to emphasise the loveless guy with that?
also, about the ipod:
-- shuffle is not so long, your proportions are a bit not right
-- the cord is thicker until the splitter [but you also dont have the splitter, which you should draw]
-- the earbuds are a bit rounded at the bottom, and what kind of ears does he have that we can see the whole earbud?
-- the grain of the original background is more dense, therefore -- nicer
-- the blue of the original is deeper, with greater contrast

-- the cord is dissapperaing because of the equalizer, why not to make the equalizer with less opacity?"

oh please, c'mon. i know the IT industry is doing all they can to prove you that anyone can use a computer, anyone can make webpages/process photographs/be a dj/cut movies just like a pro but *ffs* that's a damn commercial lie.

imagine me going onto a baseball pitch saying 'i want to play baseball' although i have no idea about this game. if i'd ask 'can you help me' they'd just say 'go and practice swinging the bat'...

well how about that, life is not as easy as it seems and if you want to make something and make it good, do some research, spend some time, God blessed Google so try it and don't rely on others to guide you through every step, but instead explore things by yourself.

now just not to be considered as a complete ranter, some of my tips:
Macromedia Dreamweaver MX - it has the WYSIWYG (*) web pages creation, good for starters, but may be confusing in terms of interface, just take some time to explore it
Google - any basic html tutorial will do for start
w3schools - as previously mentioned it's a great site for beginners but also advanced users [language reference is not complete, but useful]
Adobe Photoshop - when you draw a page layout you can slice it and save for web with html output [it will cut along the slices and insert in html code, though it's not very w3c-standart]

"I'd definetly go for a LCD. i have LCD myself, though only 15'' -- and an old philips too. but i have no dead pixels. not a one. however on an iBook lcd screen i have one r.i.p. :]

well, imho the basic advantages of LCD are -- flatness, high contrast, being exact [it's easy to map gfx device pixel onto the actual lcd screen pixel, which with crt is not quite the case..] and small size.

also, i think it's easier to damage a crt screen than to get dead pixels on a lcd -- at least i see dead pixels very rarely [and i've seen a few lcds].

regarding FPP games, or other fast-paced ones -- small framerate hurts more than lcd screen response, actually."
