"Well Bleach is beginning to piss me off!

It started out and went on for 60+ episodes with one of the greatest action theme anime stories ever...the characters were all awesome, the action was always unique and intense, the story ALWAYS left you craving more....but now...its just filler crap that I couldn't care less about...please get back on track soon bleach."

The guy is just awesome, I mean c'mon he fights people with his sword even if they have a gun...he's smart, he's straight to the point, he's philisophical, he can fight, oh and yes he's ruthless and evil."

"I would definitely say FLCL (Furi Kuri, Fooly Cooly). Granted it was funny and very entertaining but it was also really really really WIERD! and confusing. the characters were interesting and WIERD, the story was intriguing and WIERD, the animation was beautiful and WIERD...I think you get the idea."

Well I'm tired and I;m sure there is more but this should give you a general idea of my taste for anime and for what I feel is a GREAT anime. Mainly I like action anime...but not senseless action...I prefer thought provoked action animes where the fighters use their heads as well as there fists/ special powers or whateverelse they have. That being said I do also require that there be a great story to back up the action which also implies great characters. Drama and comedy animes are good as-well but I prefer to have these genres mixed with at least a little action here and there."

What separate anime from normal toons?

"Well I'd have to go with Animation for one, Story for two, Characters that are interesting with depth and development for three, and pretty much everything else for four.

The animation is what first hooked me with it just haveing so much more detail in every scene from the character designs to the back-drops (Background). Not only is it beautiful in still but also in full motion the quality isn''t lost like in cartoons where anything that moves in the background or any character for that matter is completely seperate from the rest of the scenery in color and style...not great.

I love how the story in anime is actually a story (in most cases anyway) that actually gets followed up by each and every "next" episode. The stories also get much more deep and involved in lives and relationships...not just "villan of the day" or "tragedy of the day" one show disasters.

Characters in anime are much more rooted out with a past, with feelings and emotions that they express throughout the show. Not just over the top whining and crying...but actual thoughts and ideas.

Oh and then there's everything else...anime just beats cartoons by a land slide...Granted back in the day (late 80's) there were some good toons that stood the test of time. These included such series as X-Men, Spiderman, Superman, Batman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, and a few more I'm sur eI'm leaving out (all mentioned are referring to the origional series...not remakes). Since the mid 90's however toons have been going in the direction of over-the-top villans, explosions and laser weapons all over the place, No stories or character development, horridly simple animation, and to many generic rip-off series.

What do you think is the best Anime ever created?

"In my opinion the best anime ever created is Rurouni Kenshin. The story is so great that it can only be matched by the greatness of the characters...which a re matched with great animation and sound in this case making for truely a grand experience that trancends above all other anime. The story isn't so unique as it is wonderfully told. The pacing is so perfect and everything is tied up in the end...nothing is left out (without intent of course). One thing that must be present in a truely great series is character development and boy doe this fit the bill. We can definitely see the characters change over time not only emotionally but also physically...very well done in my opinion.

Honorable mentions must be given of course and they include: BERSERK, Cowboy Bebop, FMA, Vision of Escaflowne, Last Exile, BECK...there are of course other animes that I consider favorites but I do not consider them in a class eligible for the "greatest" title because while they are "great" and most likely the best in each of there Genres (ie. bleach, naruto, etc...) they don't have that one defining point that makes them an epic. All of the ones listed previously in my opinion contain something that sets them apart from the crowd of other anime series."

"The different names correspond to different series...however they are not all similar. Some take place in an "ulternate universe" that has differences from the origional gundams. Some are sequels and some are just single season/ OVA gundams. Some are more action oriented (SEED) and some revolve around more story (Zeta). "I would have to defenitely go with BERSERK for worst ending in an ANIME series. The series ends on one of the biggest cliffhangers of all time and there's no second season!...AHHHH!. Of course this was intentionally done to get us to buy and read the manga but still, it is very very annoying. Even so it is still one of my favorite animes of all time!"

"Well the for me it has to be the Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin) OVA. The story is just so deep and well thought out...nothing out there right now seems to compare to it. Besides that it has great action, animation, characters, and DEVELOPMENT.

"Personally I was just floored even after just the first 8-10 minutes of this OVA with its amazingly detailed animation and over-the-top action sequences. Nothing so far this year (or even past couple years) has drawn me in so quickly to a series. Of course animation does not a great OVA/ Anime make...there must be a compelling story to support this great action and provide for reason and purpose. Well, don't worry you will not be disappointed. Though confusing at times the story is no less enthralling than the action. Surrounded in mystery until near the end of the first volumes release you (the viewer) are left playing the detective trying to figure out exactly what is going on...and are left with many question at the end of Episode three. Even with these questions though you can tell that there is a deep and emotional story developing. I cannot wait for the last 3 episodes to be released (9-26-2006) so I can get resolution to this story and see more of this unique and amazing animation style. Simply Gorgeous!"

"It doesn't bother me as I usually try to keep up with all they new animes, which means I watch about 2-3 different ones every week. But I might say I actually prefer to watch the ones I consider "great" on their own and in full beofre starting another anime that I consider "great" just because I like to get drawn into these series and don't want anything clouding the story at present"

"A favorite is pretty hard to pin point...but I must say that the Rurouni Kenshin OVA has to be my favorite just because of it's great story, depth, action, animation, message, theme, and characters. The TV series is great on its own but the OVA surpasses it in every way imaginable and is truely a sight to be hold. My jaw dropped more than once at some of the more powerful scenes. Never before have I felt as much emotion during and after watching an anime/ or even tv series for that matter.

is pokemon really that bad!?

"I'll be honest with you...I liked pokemon when it first came out...it WASN'T that bad of a show. it was interesting, had great characters with personality, great stories, and it was quite a little adventure. But not to long after the show got going you started to see the variety in stories and characters go away and everything started to become the "same old song and dance" type of thing. Nothing was varied, nothing was different, same characters, same villans, same battles only different pokemon. Then the directors decided to add new pokemon, challenges, and powers and this only made things worse becausr the premise of the show to that point was to catch all the pokemon...and all of a sudden we find out there are an additional like 200 we haven't seen or heard of before that totally can blow away all the pokemon introduced so far..to that i say bullsh*t.

Truely in its early progression days/ episodes of introduction and development it was a 7.5/10 series so if you are interested get up to about episode 30 or so...at least until you start to see the repetition or they add newly found pokemon and you'll be good. Other than that stay away from this like it's the plague"

Bleach Filler!

"No your not wrong..the filler has gone on to long...personally I hate fillers but with Bleach fillers its different...I actually like them...most of them anyway. I likes all the fillers through episode 64 which was about 4-5 of the 64 eps. But now that the entire series revolves around these fillers I can't stand them...not that they are horrible...its just that there is such a good story that has been built up in the Soul Society arc that I almost feel they have forgotten about it...they need to get back on the main story and forget this new stuff."

The worst anime ever released

"I know people will disagree with me but I have to say hellsing...I absolutley hated this anime...there was nothing about it that I found entertaining or interesting. The art was horrible, the lack of story and background was horrible, the characters were horrible, it was just horrible...nuff said.

Oh and its not because it was violent or anything that I didn't like it as I have watched Elfen Lied and Gantz and been fine with the gore. I am also a fan of vampire anmes such as Blood +, Vampire Hunter D, etc... it's just that this anime was so dumb and brainless that I had no interest in it at all."
