After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Do you think media is ruining your country's image?
1 month 2 weeks ago
"Media has likely ruined more than our countries image, don't you think? It's blatantly obvious that media has pretty much ruined society, since it has us all addicted to soft drinks, fast food, t.v. and wasteful behavior (although to be fair there are a few programs and advertisements promoting a greener environment).
There's a myriad of examples one could list, and I would be quite frankly disturbed if others could not recognize them. I could ramble, but I don't want to miss The Cleveland Show."

Is anime a lonely hobby?
2 months 2 weeks ago
"It's only lonely if you hang around people who pretend not to like it. Maybe I can only speak for myself, but just about all of my friends like Anime to at least some degree. Plus, I got all the happy internet people who like it :D"View
Electronic music

"I've always been an Ambient Junkie, but I've recently started branching out to various forms of Trance and Electronica. Pendulum is good for first time listeners, tracks like Hold Your Color and Fasten Your Seatbelts are pretty good. There's quite literally thousands of musical artists though, so chances are you'll have to do some digging before you find something that really appeals to you."View
Television isnt that what it once used to be!
8 months 1 week ago
"There isn't anything cartoon wise that really captures my attention on T.V. anymore. I've watched every episode of undergrads and clone high at least a few times each, and I don't even bother watching Anime on T.V. unless it's in Japanese (which happens rarely on the Space Channel). The only show I watch fervently anymore is House, a series that makes owning a television worth-while."View

Christmas Wishlist

"I suppose I've already spoiled most of my surprises this year, since I know I'm getting an i pod touch and gift certificates. I certainly wouldn't mind adding PS3 and New Bed to the list, but one wouldn't want to be greedy beyond reason. It might be futile, but I'd like responses to be thoughtful, and least of all a list without explanations, lest I be fluffed roughly for creating a list-thread. Something like this just seems like an obvious addition to the forums, given that less than 10 days remain until a certain holiday starts."

Driving in the Snow?
11 months 1 week ago
"I'm pretty sure I just saw this on the news, apparently (in Canada atleast) those caught driving without snow tires (in the snow -.-) will be fined up to $400.Most people either don't know how to drive in snow or forget, as is blatantly evident in British Columbia especially. I spend snowy days watching cars crawl up hills like gravity-reversed molasses, only to slide back down and try again with the same approach. People are paranoid about going fast in snow, which really is sort of important (so long as you use some common sense)."

The Day The Earth Stood Still
11 months 1 week ago
"Humans naturally want to take care of themselves first before anything else comes into play. The series Planet Earth describes our current efforts for planet-preservation, and while progress is being made the simple fact remains that there are many people who lay waste to the planet in order to survive. One simply has to look to our South Eastern Countries like India and most of South Africa to realize that many of the people there want what we have, and think it unfair of us to deny them that over fears of "Climate Change". Its either burn down the forest for farming, or let them starve. The movie looks somewhat interesting, being a sub-par actor Keanu Reeves probably fits the role of an alien better than anything else he has acted as."

Do you believe that your parents love you unconditionally?
11 months 2 weeks ago
"I think 99.9 percent of all parents love their child unconditionally to at least some degree. Sure they are oppressive tyrants most of the time, but they need to be to make sure we understand what consequences we will face when we reach adulthood. My parents love me unconditionally, but I know they are really hanging on the gate for me to move into my own place, now that I'm 20 ^-^."

You think we will live to see Space Colonization?
11 months 3 weeks ago
"Not in our lifetime, unless we start to develop longer life spans. Even then, Earth has everything Man needs to survive, and the only reason we would bother colonizing a dead planet like Mars is if we blow up this one. I think Space is frigging cool, but I wouldn't put money into it. We have enough problems as it is, between the Earths unnatural downwards plunge and our Economic Crisis.Dreams like this won't be realized for many decades yet."

have u ever thought of suicide?
11 months 4 weeks ago
"Unless you are in immense pain and cannot be cured by any known science, I too think that suicide should be last on the list of options. Most people who commit suicide are young teenagers who are usually unloved by their parents, doing badly at school, have no self esteem and typically think they are friend-less.One simply needs to look at any of our eastern neighbors in Africa and realize how rough their life is. One can be killed by insurgents or come in contact with a potentially deadly disease just like that. If people there can still find a reason to live, and still find a reason to smile, then there shouldn't be any excuses left to kill yourself.
If anyone makes any backwards logic jabs at this ideal, you shall be dubbed noob."

Should the U.S. Government bail out car industries?
1 year 2 days ago
"So, we're getting closer and closer to the brink of collapse in the economy. The government is tossing billions of dollars around, hoping it will patch things up and make everything better. If the government gives the Auto Industry a few billion dollars, will they outlive the economic crisis or will this result in a very expensive form of toilet paper? In my opinion, it seems like a stupid idea. People have (finally) taken interest in the preservation of our planet, and many now seek to go from point A to point B in the greenest way possible. Dirt cheap Honda's may sway younger generations, but I think that if the Auto Industry wants to still be around in the next 20 years, they all need to switch over to electricity or some other clean fuel. Until then, I would think that they're hardly deserving of a billion dollar handkerchief."

real fight
1 year 4 days ago
"Hmm, I haven't really been in any major fights... I got beat up when I was 8 because I kept pestering this one kid to come over and play nintendo with me. I sympathize with him now, since I did pester him for about 2 weeks straight practically everyday. No broken bones or cuts or anything, just a couple of knees to the solar plexus and a punch to the head.I got beat up by one of my best friends, though she didn't really lay much of a shit kicking (she weighed about half of what I did) although being the typical dyke, she was wearing steel toed work boots at the time and I had a few bruises on my belly the next day.
One time I saw my buddy freak out on someone who "miss placed" a stash of his valuables, and that looked like a pretty thorough beating. Punched him till he fell, then gave him a couple of savage looking kicks to various parts of his body, though not his head. I was too shocked at first to do anything, but since he didn't seem ready to stop I intervened peacefully. He took off pretty fast, since a couple of neighbors had noticed and were threatening to call the cops."

The Twilight series...

"I got sucked into reading the series, and while I too felt that the story would have been better if in Edwards pov I still thought it was decent. The ending sort of felt weird too me, but since I didn't buy the books (my gf did) I didn't feel an utter loss.I doubt very much the movie will entertain me, from what I've seen so far they just dressed up some ken dolls and sex and the city drop outs and let the rest stir itself into pandemonium. Television isnt that what it once used to be!

"I watch the Discovery Channel occasionally, but I don't watch much T.V. besides, unless I catch an episode of House or a National Hockey League game. There's way too much crap on T.V. these days. Once you filter the half million News channels, sports channels, religious channels and retired grandma channels, your left with 2 cartoon channels, the comedy network and a few american stations that may have interesting content but are stuffed to the tits with garbage and commercials.
Anime on T.V. is typically the Shonen crap that drags on for about 5 years or so. I put up with Dragonballz when I was younger, but I put my foot down after that. Anything Anime-wise I just buy or watch online now.
I need to find myself satellite or something, cable just sucks.

what do you think of you?
1 year 1 week ago
"There certainly appears to be some delightful characters here, ranging from honest brave and true to just downright messed up.I'm pretty happy with myself thus far as a 20 year old. I still have a few rough edges to smooth out, but all in all I think I'm starting to become a dandy human being.
I can be sometimes easy to offend, if I can't sense a joke in a crude remark then I typically don't respond and focus on some random task. Although I can almost always conceal them from sight, I get these random fits of rage over small things from time to time, or perhaps they just build up over a month or so and instead of letting it out on my own time I'll beat the crap out of some poor unsuspecting dysfunctional furniture or appliance.
I'm a little to caught up in how I look, my snorter is a bit bigger than I would like so I often find myself trying to find ways to make it look smaller. I'm not totally happy with the hair I have (red and curly/wavy) but its starting to shape up into something more manageable than Ronald McDonald on acid. "

Swearing
1 year 1 week ago
"I think you've already summarized most of the possible discussion for this topic :P I agree with you fully, there's many different ways to look at swearing and while it's generally frowned upon... people do it anyway. If you work in a retail store like I do, typically swearing is kept to a minimum and unoffensive level. If you are a lecture/teacher or someone who does a lot of speaking in somewhat public environments, typically you jazz things up to keep things interesting. Some of my teachers did that too, although I didn't really notice until grade 11/12.I think swearing is neat. Especially the whole bit involving God. Humans have proved again and again how ironic and unpredictable they can be, praying one minute and cursing their deity the next.
The bit about the 2.5 year old is priceless, would have payed to have been there to hear that."

if you ruled the world

"If I were as ambitious as Lelouch, then I would surely cook up some scheme that would involve stripping religions and cults from my country, and so be remembered infamously by some as the evil bastard who will burn eternally in hell, while others may later realize just how ridiculous religion was and begin to focus on humankind's true purpose and potential. But since I'm far too lazy for such an outrageous venture, I think I'd prefer to rule a Caribbean country somewhere in Northern South America. I'd immediately create as many jobs as possible to help end the poverty they face, and maintain ties with Canada to get good deals on Meds. My work accomplished (perhaps in failure) I'd retire happily on some eastern coast of the Caribbean and live out my days until I caught Hepatitis or drown in a Hurricane.
