As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

New LCD monitor! HELP!

"I tried changing to 16 bit and it still won't go any higher...yes 1280x1024 is the highest the slider can go.

plus my comps at 60hz...i have no idea what hz is, but if it's so low, shouldn't my comp be able to handle it?

yes, this company is very sketchy, but the monitor should support that resolution. when i insert the disk i get parent directories...i think they are supposed to be drivers but i think i have the right driver??

tried the hp website for drivers, but i have no idea what to do.

is it possible my poor comp can't support LCD? the box says to check my video card's website for drivers, but i have no idea how to find out what my video card maker is...

New LCD monitor! HELP!

"Hey, I just got a 900w proview 19" monitor and i have a problem. The max resolution my comp will go to is 1280x1024 when now it's supposed to be 1440x900. help me i am so confused, and the disk the monitor came with isn't helping!

And apparently it's still in CRT mode...i can't bring up any LCD features.

I realise this may not be enough info, but seriously, ask me and I'll tell you! Just please, help me out! I got this so i could have a better resolution, but for now everything is just streched out...images are longer...everything is longer...i understand text bein smaller but not image distortion.

and it still appears not to be working. it simply says wallpapers or sometimes scans. nothing else. no pics or links to a category. is this how it is supposed to be? or am i missing something...

"Ummm...i have no idea if someone has brought this up, and im just guessing it has something to do with version 4....

am i stupid or do some people have humungo avatars? they cover up the whole post on some of the new comments ive gotten...and this is a problem even if for some reason those aren't avatars....in the pm it says the text but on the actual post it is just a picture...

they just don't look like 100x100, im not sure about the size of the files. but i have seen this more than once.

"Hm, nice but kinda simple. maybe try to vector the characters out, or if not possible, change the bg. it's not really grungy enough to have that text, and i wouldn't suggest grunge as a theme.

not sure what series this is, but maybe try like them looking out from a glass ship interior into the sky (with mechs i assume?)

Chronicles of the roommates from hell...

"Very intimidating post...I can tell you hate one-liners as much as your "friend". Sorry but it will be hard to top what she did, I suggest you move out or something, maybe plant drugs in her car? There are plenty of ways to get her arrested...;)
If she hates cartoons, I'm sure no one will miss her and her odd functioning bowels...

Well I am not in college yet, but at cheer camp we stayed in the college...

Total. Hell.

Imagine 4 emotional girls in one dorm, all of us practicing dances till one in the morning...

Also, the girls I bunked with were slobs...I found myself cleaning for a great deal of time.

Even tho we had 2 bathrooms, we each take 1 hour showers, so we took turns showering before bed (about 2 in the morning)

Then everyday we wake up at 7 and go to a gym filled with about 100 chicks trying to out yell each other.
Yep, I'm never going to cheer camp again...

Did I mention everyone on my team spends about 3.5 hours in front of the mirror per day? That, and our school has a reputation for being a little "mean", and it is well deserved...
about half of us were "accidentally" left behind one day, and we had to walk down the highway in our matching shorts (cheer shorts are um short) Not like anyone noticed half the team was missing :)

"The placement of the photo looks odd...maybe try taking a photo frame in real life and place it on a desk, and try to copy what you see...i think the stock doesn't fit, maybe try adding like tokyo university books or something? I highly suggest you draw the bg. maybe add some other love hina stuff.

also, the font bothers me...why not have like a note book with that phrase written on it? The font just doesn't fit.

Hey i like the concept. Now's the time to execute a scenery here. Remove the black bg. I'd work with the same concept as the ending on TB with the winter element.

Anyhow there's probably plenty of ways to execute it. But the one i mentioned would of been cool
