"I love math.
Seriously, if I were any good in it I'd love to make make job out of it.
In school I was always enthusiastic in math lessons but sadly I'm really, REALLY bad at math. I spend a lot of time counting and doing the homeworks so when they were checked I became easily sad when saw that again only one or two out of 30 went right and even they mostly out of luck. Somehow I really can't understand how some things are done which led to me getting "free" out of math (meaning that I could fail at math as much as I wanted and still could get through the courses) since I sucked so much and couldn't get better even with tutors and extra lessons...

I don't like Chemistry but have to admit that I wasn't that bad at it. On some days it was fun and on some days... really horrible."

Which do you like, watching old classic or new anime?

"Both of them has their good and bad sides but I think I prefer old ones. I've seen a lot of old animes (and with old I mean ANCIENT) and since I was introduced to old ones first and moved to newer ones after few years of watching (few of 70's,) 80's and 90's anime. Somehow new one is still quite disturbing with their clean-ness and more beautiful 'feeling'."

Have you ever missed school even though you weren't sick?Why?

"Many, maaaaaany times. But I've always done it for the days I know we won't have anything important going on in school. Like when I leave to almost other side of country to see my friend in her birthday I take day off from school unless there is exam I have to do on that day.
And of course someday I'm waaaay too lazy to go there so... uh... just sleep and hope that I could be swallowed by a bed for a few weeks."

Cosplay

"Hmmm... Usually if I'd like to cosplay someone, I will do it. Even if something like height etc. lacked. But usually I'm strict of the height and take characters who aren't tall (since I'm only 155cm).

And about cosplaying public, I think cosplay shouldn't be taken outside of events. Somehow seeing Sasuke buying bras or things like that would look freaky. o__O; But I can understand if someone likes to keep shirts, pants etc. like some anime characters has.

Home-made costumes are ALWAYS better. The respect grows a lot even if there was some tiny things lacking in it. It's the thought of cosplayer doing all the dirty job for their fandom's sake."

Does age really matter?

"I'm really awkward with people who AREN'T older than me. I can't see myself with someone who isn't at least 5 years older than me. Somehow I see someone under 24, and even 25, way too young for my tastes and for your information, I'm only _19_.

It's all in preference but also if one is 13 or something and have "serious" crush on 10-20 years older man/woman, I think that person should think twice on who they are crushing on... Unless that person is teacher or something. I think a lot of people has had crush on their teacher."

If you hate your friands will you tell them?

"I dislike one of my friends. She's really clingy and talks of things that gets me really disgusted with her.
BUT.
When I remember those good and happy days I've spent with her in the past -close and far in there- it doesn't feel so horrible to be her friend anymore.
I think that even if one hates their friend, they can still be concidered friends, as long as the person who hates also still has a little bit of liking to that friend of theirs.

But to tell... I would tell my friend if she ASKED. Otherwise no."

Original or Pirated?

"I can admit of bought pirated DVD's of those series that has a lot of ep's (Naruto and Tenipuri). I don't really care about crappy translations since I mostly listen the speaking.
... I don't have that much anime DVD's; those pirated Naruto's and Tenipuri's and totally legal X/1999, Gankutsuou and Star Ocean -serie.
To be honest, I don't watch much anime so usually I just burn fansubs of the series I like. And don't even try to be ashamed. (-_-)"

What are your plans this summer?

"Stay in home and work. I'll be taking my summer vacation from work in November and go then to Japan for a while. Don't want to go there at summer because I can work on Sundays and get a lot of money from those days.
Since I have pool home, I guess I will start swimming daily too if the weather will be nice and all.
Of course, yearly Animecon in Finland. That's only thing I have really planned for summer."

"Fiat Bravo '01, the edition with air-conditioning.
Totally fell in love with it when saw it in the store and had to get it. That time I had just gotten driving license so I was little afraid of driving but when I sat down and took it to test drive I wasn't scared at all. That car makes me feel safe.
I use a lot of bus though, because petrol (? is that the right word?) is really pricy in here."

If you have a lot of money

"With 60% of the money buy a house and other necessarities in life. Then 20% I'm going to save for my children and last 20% goes for my forthcoming needs. Maybe manga here and there and something else nice.
I'm rather simple and like more of the knowledge that I have everything I need to live, than more junk than necessarities and will end up wondering how I'm going to survive if I can't eat playstation or use that $50 costing limited edition ONLY-100-IN-WORLD manga as toilet paper."

Kicked out of the classroom

"Once. At exercise. My friend and I thought the way how our two top students (who weren't that good in exercise) got to hog all best basketball players in their group was unfair. Those best players refused to go to other group and waited always to get on those two's group.
So my friend and I went mad and sat in the middle of the area and decided to go on strike. Thus we were kicked out of there by a teacher, asked to go jog this one route which we hadn't before done, got lost and were late for a hour from next lesson. Taught not to do anymore that childishly as we did."

Star Ocean

"I couldn't find anything with search and decided to do topic for this awesome serie.
I'm huge SO -fan, even my FF-fangirlness pales in front of this serie.
I started with Star Ocean II which I loaned from my friend. Later, after years of searching found it and bought with ~$200 (notice that I live in really, REALLY small country where getting rare games is almost impossible without selling your mother).
Then year or so later came Till the End of Time.
Last one was found from from tiny japanese gamestore that sold SNES games.
Only game that I don't yet have is Blue Sphere but someday.. someday.
I love all three but I have to admit that Till the End of Time isn't as good as first two parts. Second Story is my favourite over other two since it was first game I really wanted to own (1st has maybe little better plot and boss fights though).

What do you think about Star Oceans, and if you have tried more than one, what is your favourite out of those four?

Hottest or favorite game characters

"Hmmmmmm... When it comes to male characters, all time favourite has to be Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII) or Link (The Legend of Zelda). Sephiroth was first badass I ever was impressed of and even now I think not any boss could beat him.
And I've been playing Zelda -serie since I was 4 years old so have grown awfully fond of Link.
Hot men in games... Hmmmmm... Devil May Cry's Dante. He looks like a man.

And females.
I love Rena (Star Ocean II) and Aerith (Final Fantasy VII). Both are beautiful, are all polite and nice and and... they're perfect in every way possible, at least for me.
I don't think there's any female game character that I think as sexy... Closest what comes to my mind is Zelda (The Legend of Zelda). "

Romance Mangas

"I don't read a lot of romance myself (it's boring and usually there's cheating and other stupid stuff involved that I hate more than anything) but the most clichéd thing has to be bad boy becoming all fluffy and embodiment of prince on white horse after meeting that flawlessly beautiful girl. I would love to read romance where that poor boy won't be totally brainwashed.

I trust in old mangas. For some reason older the manga is, more I'm going to like it even if there doesn't seem to be anything special in them. Also I enjoy of seeing best friends threating other head character so that they wouldn't hurt their friend.

I hate kissing scenes and people thinking something "romantic" during it. And sniffing other person while kissing is rude (<-- those mangas where people notices some scent from other person while kissing).

I would recommend Candy Candy and Rose of Versailles. Both are pretty old though so a lot of people don't give any attention to them because of that, but I assure you, the plots are really good (historical) and neither won't be your normal cinderella stories even if you would try to make them as one.
Only minus thing is that they haven't been translated so you have to be able to read japanese first or get someone to translate them."

I've heard some things about Berserk but since no-one has recommended it for me, never bought it. But I'll go and buy sometimes to see how it is. Hey, you often translate doujinshis, too. Where do you get those doujinshis from?

I'm not really that good. I've done wallpapers mostly from real people (music groups, idols etc.) before so the art of anime wallpapers is pretty new for me.
I have to get those doujinshi's in old way because I don't have credit cards; fly to Japan and raid Mandrake. It's yearly fun to go there and buy year worth of doujinshis.

I'm asheswishes, Finnish girl who doesn't watch much anime but has soft spot for manga because books are always better than TV screen.
My favourite mangas are Naruto (and proud of it), X/1999, Candy Candy, Berusaiyu no Bara, Peace Maker Kurogane and most of the detective mangas I've ever read.
Since I'm such a book worm, my favourite animes are all based on novels; Ai no Kusabi, Gankutsuou and Soukyuu no Fafner.
Also I love playing and that's why I started liking manga and such. I spend a lot of time in front of SNES with my Star Ocean I and Treasure Hunter G or PS2 with Suikodens and Star Oceans.

When I'm not doing wallpapers, I translate doujinshis (mostly KinKi Kids and other doujinshis that are from smaller fandoms [PMK, Suikoden]), read novels, learn japanese and fangirl japanese idols... or be in school.

I don't really know what more I should add here. I'm sure most of the people doesn't even have patience to read this far, so I guess I'll stop and... go do something enlightening."

Buying manga

"I buy a lot when I buy. Usually I buy manga once or twice in year (because I want to know what I've been bought. If I buy one or two now and then, and every time they are of different series, I won't remember easily what has been bought and what haven't) so my purchases contains minimum 20 mangas since I'm buying both, new and older manga. May sound a lot but I start saving money right after I've done last purchases, for the next one. And not to forget, there's a lot of japanese manga too which is cheaper than english translated."

How long does it take to read manga?

"Depends on the language. Japanese and I can spend three hours with it, english and it goes in 30 minutes. Funny thing is, I'm Finnish and I'll read finnish translated mangas in hour. I've gotten used to reading in english so other languages are little harder to read than it is.
Of course, how complex the manga is, also affects. I can read volume of Peacemaker Kurogane in ~30 minutes but I need maybe 45 minutes to read Death Note or Kindaichi."
