"It looks so cute! Yachiru is so adorable! XD Anyway...nice vector! But I do see a little that needs fixing. First of all, on her arm band...there seems to be a bit of gray showing through from her outfit. No worries...that's easy to fix. ^_^ But the harder part is her hand...her right one...or the only one that is showing (duh!). It looks kinda weird to me. The finger or thumb that is sticking out/hanging just looks...out of place. I know this sounds scary but...you should either cut it off or...just do something with it. I would go with amputating it and making the hand a cute chibi oval if you can't think of another way to fix it. One more thing is her neck shadow...with the lines. I would say remove the vector outline and just fill in the entire shadowed area with the brown color...seeing as you kinda did that already with the shadow on her clothes.

As for the background...I like it! ^_^ But maybe and a little text...like her name or something. I think that it would be really cute. But in a cute font! The font that you use is very important. If you put the wrong font...then the whole cuteness of the wallpaper might be destroyed! And we wouldn't want that! T^T

One more thing about the vector though...I sorry! But on her clothes...the gray part...did you use a gradient effect or something? Because I see bars in her clothes. They are lighter on the left and going a little bit darker toward the right. Maybe my eyes or my computer? I don't know...just thought that I would mention it...just in case.

"It's looking nice! For the night background...you could try this. It makes REALLY nice stars...for backgrounds. I'm sure you could tone down the amount of stars or whatever to make it fit your wallpaper perfectly! ^_^ As for the title...I would probably just put it towards the left of the girl in that large empty space of sky. I hope I helped!"

"For the first one...the scans are kinda bad. You would need to either clean them, vector them, or find a new image. Ans as for the background...on the left side around the girl's right arm...it looks like you just used the clone tool...A LOT. So...I'm almost assuming that you did make the background yourself. And the earth in the upper left corner looks really blurry, and so is the grass. For the girl on the left...you can also see where a part of her outfit gets cut off too. And not to mention you also need a sig.

As for the second one...I would just scrap it altogether. The background looks nice...but it's not yours! It belongs to mblack. I've seen this wallpaper on AP already and what you did was a horrible thing. So you changed it a little...but you still STOLE IT!

I'm sorry if my comment seems harsh...but for the second one...you definitely deserve it. Ripping others works is one of the worst things a person can do. No lie."

"Here are the final version! YAY! I hope that they are done now. I'm actually still not sure which angle I should submit...

And to hamstersanonymous...I probably won't make a reflection...for two reasons. One, it makes the wallpaper look a little too crowded...unless you do it right...which I probably can't. And Two, the angle of the windows are already kinda weird (but I like it) so the reflection comes out looking a little funny...once again because I probably can't so it correctly anyway T^T.

But please tell which version you like better! It would help me a lot! ^_^

I'll probably go with the second one though...

"Good start so far! But there are a few thing that I would fix. First of all, Sakura doesn't blend into the background too well. The colors seem to clash. And text "Sakura-hime" would look nicer bigger. It is barely noticable the way it is now. Also...on the image of Sakura at the bottom, there seems to be either some texture on her dress or it is bad scan quality. If it is texture, I would extend it throughout the entire picture. And if it is just scan problems, I would try and fix that to make it clearer. But I think the texture looks nice! And the outline of Sakura could use a little work too. There are some parts that look very jagged. That could easily be fixed by vectoring though. Good luck with this wall. I can't wait to see the result! ^_^"

"There are quite a few tutorials out there for vectoring...just so you know. My fav for lineart is here. It shows you 3 different ways to make a nice outline. As for coloring...I have one but for the old version of Photoshop (5.0) It is at howtodrawmanga.com ^_^ Basically, I use the polygonal lasso tool for coloring though...AND I put everything on different layers. I hope I helped a bit! ^_^"

"First of all...the entire wallpaper is a little blurry...especially the background. The wings need to look a bit sharper in my opinion. And what is the round thing in the upper left corner? Is it a moon? I personally think that you should remove it. It doesn't seem to fit all that well. And the scan also needs a bit of cleaning too. The bottom of the image looks fine but the face and mask needs a bit of vectoring or something. Also...on the bottom...her right arm looks funny between her elbow and wrist. I'm not sure if it was the scans fault or a vectoring error, but you should fix that. And some of the pieces of mask need to be extracted better. I can still see some red round them. And that bit of red floating mysteriously by her ear and piece of mask needs to be removed.

You are doing a good job so far so keep up the good work! ^_^"

"Hey there again! I tried to fix up the wall a bit more but I'm having a few problems. Mainly the reflection...I have something like a reflection on the wall so far but it doesn't seem right.

I still haven't fixed the background yet because it will take the most time of all...time that I don't currently really have. T^T But will it look alright if I just made the bookcase thing a bit sharper...and do the tables look alright already?

"I can help! ^_^ You commented on my post and now I shall comment on yours! There are two things that you could do.

1) The most popular is to go to an image hosting site such as imageshack or photobucket and upload your wallpaper there. Then you can put the url onto your thread.

2) You could also place your wallpaper directly onto the thread by using the img button conviently located at the top of the comment box thingy. ^_^ This isn't usually a highly favored one, but it works!

"Here is my new wallpaper! YAY! I finally finished it...kinda...the last thing I need is your help! ^_^ This wallpaper took a lot longer and was the most tedious of all my wallpapers (even though there are only two others to compare it to at the moment)

So I guess...tell me what's wrong with it...or what you like about it. I posted a few different versions of the wallpaper so you could see which is better too.

First version: This version has everything on it

2nd version: This version doesn't have a color overlay over Rukia. It just makes her stand out more...but too much?

3rd version: This one doesn't have a texture over the wall/window...I wasn't so sure about the textures. If you have any ideas for a better texture...please post!

4th version: This final one happened by mistake actually. But the accident came out quite nicely! ^_^ So...just another view of the wallpaper.

"Compared to the first version that you had...the second one looks much better! ^_^ But a few thing still need fixing...I agree with Vagetogt for a few things...such as the fading at Akito's feet. But just a question first...is the round circle opening supposed to be a window? Because in the series...I definitely remember a round window at the main house. If so...you should Akito down a bit behind the window. At least far enough to hide maybe...half of the red thing around his waist. Then it would not only look like he is sitting on the floor but the perspective of the wallpaper would look better too. I also recommend rotating Akito a little clockwise so that he is sitting basically straight up. He's in a kinda awkward position now. And a shadow behind the fence would probably look nice too! ^_~

Other than a few touch ups...I think that it looks nice! ^_^"

"First of all...you need to make it a much bigger size. The actual size that you will sumbit to be specific. ^_^ It makes it a lot easier to critque if we can see it! But...I do like the background so far. But from what it looks like...the image of the girl doesn't seem to blend into the background that well. It looks like you just extracted it and stuck it on. And the font could probably be better too. I would say that it looked like Times New Roman or something like that.

"Well...for the title...I think you might have spelled it wrong. On the wallpaper, it says "The Poewr of love" and I think you meant to put "The Power of Love"...right? I also agree with everyone else about the bg. It looks at bit plain and uninteresting. And on Sakura's hair...where the shadowed part meets the hair...there seems to be a bit of red there. Maybe a mistake when vectoring? I'm sure you could fix that quickly. ^_^"

And I agree with reversedge about the backgound not fitting too well either with the random feathers. As for the scan...the edges are blurry. I don't know if you wanted that effect or you were trying to hide extraction errors ro what, but the blurry edges...I don't like. And on the girl with the white hair's nose...there seems to be something green on it. Please try to remove that...unless it is just my computer or my eyes seeing weird things! ^_^ I hope I didn't sound to mean!"

Why this got rejected?

"Honestly...I would say that it got rejected for the scan that you used. The image is too...bright? (I can't really think of the right word to describe it...sorry T^T) But it is so bright that it kinda took away some of the detail. What I mean is that you can't see some of the lines on the characters which is probably a main reason why it wasn't accepted. If you post your original scan image beofre you put it into the wallpaper...people might be able to help you on how to make it look better. Because in my opinion...that really is the only thing that could have provoked the mod to reject it. Oh! And the edges of the scan are also jagged. That is an automatic rejection usually.

But I love the background. It looks really nice in purple! ^_^ I hope that I didn't sound too harsh to you. I'm just trying to help...HONEST!"
