After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! "Ok %Dias didn't leave anything out for us to point out :( well a mighty fine post it was anyway...since I can't really talk to what it is in a better way than it all ready has been, I will share my thoughts for all to discuss...By normal definition Karma makes sense and yet it doesn't. Like if I live a good life why do bad things happen to me for example. I don't feel Karma is an absolute, just because actions tend to dictate what goes around comes around doesn't mean it always does so in a singular persons life. Thus to me Karma doesn't always manifest itself in just one persons life, a good done to one may be the result of good actions of another, likewise the evil actions of another may manifest itself in an entirely different person. So I tend to take into account the balancing of the entire system as well as the balancing of ones life. Just my random craziness.

Subs or Dubs?

"First, no where did I say voice acting didn't matter, I implied that it wasn't the single most important factor and I stated if all you got out of it was the voice acting then you need to watch something else because you are too superficial and the creators failed to make a complete package which you can get lost in.
You make an assumption that everyone watches it in the original format, Nope. Second you think someone that doesn't speak THE LANGUAGE is going to notice the Oscar performance of the original voice actors, Nope. As well you expect me to believe every Japanese voice actor is divinely chosen by the gods and their acting will reign supreme, also Nope. I mean please. How do you know they didn't go through 5 voice actors and the original, Intended, actor bailed on them and the result was a sub-pair performance? Not to mention you make it sound as if all English voice actors suck and are B-class compared to the Japanese ones, just like the Japanese there are the good ones and there are the bad ones period.
Unless you speak Japanese the original voice acting doesn't mean CRAP! IF it does you are making it that way out of some crazy notion you created in your head.
I will not argue that the dub is of a lower quality than the original, but I can’t enjoy the original like I can a dub since the language being spoken isn’t one I can understand but the voice actors can see everything the original ones did and only have two things that would limit their performance.
One, the lack of the original director's interpretation of the scenes they are performing. Two, a sub pair translation. Yes with any translation there is going to be some loss of meaning since no language translates exactly into another and the interpreters varying levels of the understanding of the context affects the translation. But for as many bad changes there are good changes, the original may have things English-speaking people don't culturally understand and thus it would take away from the viewing. But a SUB has the same flaws, I just prefer to spend my time watching what is happening instead of reading about it.
On a last note the first GITS movie doesn’t live up to all the hype it got and I enjoyed the second one more, but that as with everything in this thread is a matter of opinion.

"I have never seen a scary movie, movies that were gory or had pop out surprises don't mean they are truly scary or leave you freaked out at night. I love Silent Hill and hope the movie is as awesome as the trailer looks (though it does seem to be a meshing of all the games) if it is then it may be the first movie I would classify as scary since the trailer just freaks on me, lol."View

"All of them, lol.No seriously, I have no issues with the subjects. I have been in college 6 years now and have been working in a corporate office for about the same. If I have learned nothing else, knowledge is power. Everyone is born with opportunity but knowing the who, what, when, where, how and WHY that you get from education is what seperates us and allows people to become more than just average. I can't say I like all subjects but since I see the benefit from them I can say I don't hate them."

"Just because there aren’t a thousand voice actors out there cheap or good enough at it to add the preferred range of voices and an actor can only change his/her voice so many ways doesn’t mean dubs suck. I don't think there are many bad dubs, frankly if all I am getting from particular anime is the how good the quality of the voice actors is...I would look at getting something different. I get too lost in the graphics and plot to give much of a flip about the quote unquote quality of the dub which frankly is a bunch of crap people harp on to push themselves into "supreme okatu" status. I have seen hundreds of anime and few have really noticeably bad dub quality. Heck I watched GITS:2 which is only in Japanese (of which I don't speak) and rather enjoyed that movie given I had no idea what they were even saying and to me that is more noticeable than the "voice doesn't capture the essence of what the character is suppose to sound like." Give me a break."View

" Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo - The art in this is just completely different than anything out there, coupled with a great story line it rates at the top of the list.Appleseed - in terms of a show that's main drive is CG, this show has some really tight scenes regardless of the overall flow and transitions.
Last Exile - beautiful all the way through, clean and crisp very nice details and did I mention beautiful?
Samurai 7 - I love the ary work in this series plain and simple, the intro was sweet!

"One of the first animes I watched when I started to get into anime pretty heavy! I liked the show but it has been such a long time since I saw it so the details are fuzzy, plus as young as I was I am sure I would look differently at the series (from a more mature stance with a higher comprehension rate now). From what I do remember I really enjoyed Gene Starwind (well mainly his GUN!), Suzuka was cool and Aisha Clanclan. The story line was kind of predictable (the elements, not exact plot) but still over all a good watch."View

"I don't have a preference in that sense; to me if they did a good job with the colors, clean up and the layout is nice then I enjoy it. To me the originality, creativity and overall effort that I think went into it is what sells me. I am trying to learn to make walls but some of this stuff is just un-believable, I just can't see how they do it (bows)."View

"I love it, Gonzo does it's normal (meaning fantastic) job with the art work. Each DVD has a small booklet with conceptual art and interviews which is a plus. The story is good and keeps you wanting more. So what else can you ask for?"View

"The best series I have watched in the last year. (Points to sig!) This is my # 4 all time favorite and the other just beat it out cause they have sentimental value to me. The artwork was amazing, characters where actually developed in the series, idea was original. I was left wanting at least another 13 eps of this, which could still have some major surprises even though Exile is no longer a mystery given the way certain people were "killed." I really hope this series gets a sequel or a movie. Runs off to start a LE marathon!!"View

"I think racism is silly and only ignorant and very low self-esteemed people could ever truly practice it. I think the people that get blown up about it are just as bad though. I mean if you can hate me for noting else than the color of my skin regardless of my actions or words however great or not then what makes me care anything for what that person thinks of me? Why should I care enough for that person to allow it to affect me? I will just laugh to myself and go on. Why whine and complain?
