After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"Thanks for all the comments!!ok, well, i tried adding another scan in the background, and I did clean up the Meg scan a little more- I'm wary of cleaning it up too much since I don't want to lose the grungy look... although I think I might tone the background colour down a little to differentiate it a bit more from her outfit.
Anyway, heres the v2's of the wall... I'm not sure which one I like best of these scans, so see what you think, and I'll carry on the changes from there...! :)

"Wow, looking really, really nice.all I'd say is drop the pattern overlay on the Disgaea text, it looks a bit forced, and maybe darken the logo a little more to bring it out more strongly, that way it'll balance the characters in the forground really well ^^"

"Hmkm, it looks ok to me, except for a couple of things-first off, the character is very, very dark- so its really hard to see! try making the character a bit brighter and bolder, so it stands out from the background a little more.
Second, the bacvkground, whilst nice, looks a litte empty- maybe put some more effects or images in the background to liven it up a bit? The white borders are also really odd... they look a bit out of place somehow o.O

"Well, its my second wallpaper ever. And to be honest, I'm rather proud of it!!It features Meg from Bakuretsu Tenshi / Burst Angel... easily my favourite character, since she's so cute and sassy XD The scan was taken from here, with a LOT of snipping out and some cleaning up and whatnot... although Im not sure if it might need more? leave that one up to you guys ^^
I wanted to make something bright and bold, but also grungy... so thanks to Fragile Decay.com for the excellent grungy brushes for the backgorund.
Im particularly interested in whatever anyone has to say about the text.. does it look ok? does it need work? Does it need a better caption...?

"For a start, try making the white fog a lot more transparent... then it'll look more like fog ^_^ also, you need to clean up the scan of Rikku a bit- theres a few edges that need a bit of trimming to neaten them up.Hhm, what else that Cheche didnt say... oh yeah, the colour balance- try to match the colours of the character with the colours of the background- playing around with the saturation / colour balance sliders in photoshop is easy to do this with... and its fun! XD"

"(I think you're supposed to link to images on here? aren't you? maybe thats just me?)oh, I like it. The background is nice and simple, but really striking. And you balanced the colours of the character with the bg really well... the only problem, and this seems to be a common thing- the text! that generic times new roman type font looks horrible, hun! Find a funkier font that fits better, and add a few effects to it; even something as simple as putting a stroke, glow or a gradient on it will make it look much better, and less like its just been stuck on!"

"Looks a great deal better now ^^all i'd say is that now the colours on the background look a little too bold, whilst the ones on the forground are a little washed out. Maybe you could try using colour balance to even it out, or even just lessen the contrast on the background a little to distinguish them a little more?"

"I think GoldenApe's right- the scan is a bit blurry, and also there are a few dust blotches on it as well.As a good guide, try thinking about how you would use the scan if you were trying to make, say, a wallpaper out of it or something. Even reduced in size to fit a small wallpaper resolution, the picture would still look a bit blurred, even after some sharpening, so it'd need a bit of cleaning up and sorting out before it could be used. I think AP likes its scans to be pretty much "ready to use" so you can just download, cut out, and use, without having to spend time retouching them ^^"

"Well, here we go, whee! My first ever wallie. Actually, I made this a little while ago, when I first played Fire Emblem on the GBA... but I haven't made any since... or even shared this one =o it features Lyndis... and it took me quitye a long time, with all the grungy squiggly effects. Not to mention the cutting out of the Lyndis scan... meh.Anyway, feedback gratefully rec'd!
