"I quit smoking cold turkey, went on a diet, and started running every day almost two weeks ago now. I was at 215lbs(5'10") but I wasn't really fat. I Had a big beer belly from when I was drinking heavily not to long ago(I also quit drinking heavily like I was). But I did have a couple drinks one day about month ago and I may have a few drinks here in there. But I try to drink only water, milk and juices. What spurred me to quit doing all this stuff was when I realized how unhealthy I was living. I was drinking everyday, smoking more then a pack of cigarettes a day, and consuming 3000+ calories and 3000mg-5000mg of sodium a day. So cold turkey was the only way for me to go.

So April 6th I started my diet and quit smoking and I lost 6-1/2lbs the first week and I'll weigh myself again on Monday, April 20. I've had trouble in the past trying to quit smoking and eating. I've went on a bunch of diets and quit smoking and drinking a bunch of times, but just never cared and started back up again. But this time I've been very motivated because I wasn't to healthy and I needed to get into better shape. And I've stuck with it this time and I don't really want to go back to my old life style. I mean I do a little, but in the long run this is the right life style and I feel better then I have in a long while.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is that it can be very hard to give up things that you really like. If you want to give something up though, don't do it for someone else. Do it for yourself and to make yourself feel better. "

The end of the world 2012?

"Here is a theory very simplified.

The Mayan calender ends in 2012. And the reason it ends is because of a so called "Planet X/Nibiru", that is our twin planet in another solar system. It came into our solar system from behind the sun and up from underneath Earth. In the process, it messed with our gravitational field and caused massive natural disasters for roughly a few months. While it wasn't the end of the earth, it did wipe out most of the life on the planet and it was an event that had/has the potential to end all life on Earth. And while passing by Earth, Planet X would appear to be about the same size as the sun and it's thought to have a double tail that appears to be horns. Thus giving people the idea that it's evil.

Another branch of that theory that people believe the Earth will end in 2012 is; the Mayan calender has predicted solar eclipses and things of that nature thousands of years in advance. And like I said before, that's when their calender ends.

There is a lot more information on it that I've read and watched. But it's been a while and this is just off the top of my head.

Like I said, just a theory that I have researched in the past.

I find it all very interesting. And a lot of it can make sense if you have an open mind about it. But hopefully it doesn't happen, because that would be absolutely terrifying. "

Ever get a drawing block?

"So I'm in the process of vectoring a picture I drew about a year ago. And while I'm vectoring it, I'm adding and taking things away from it to make it look better. I've vectored all the way up to the head and the picture looks really good. But I'm in the process of changing the hair because I don't really like the original hair and I'm just stuck. I was up all night last night vectoring this picture and I've been working on it for about three hours tonight and I just can't get the hair to look right. It's so aggravating. The hair can really define a picture and I'm really picky with my drawings. I've done about ten different styles but I'm just not happy with any of them. While hair seems to be easy, it's just gives me a lot of trouble.

Do you ever get a drawing block? If so, what gives you trouble?"

It got rejected because of line edges on the bigger Ryofu vector. I don't really see what's wrong with the line quality on it, but I could really use some help on how to clean up the line edges. Anyone know of any TUTS on how to do that specifically? Thanks!"

Then I would print off my "anime watched" list and start traveling from world to world visiting every anime I have watched using time/space gates.

Sort of like Kino's Journey. I like that idea.

As for me. SInce I'm waking up in an anime, I'm going to assume it's my own anime, and I wake up with the powers I want.

I would then proceed to go test out all my new powers and find all my stuff and friends. I wouldn't be able to fly, but I would be able to defy gravity to an extent. I'd have a huge sword like the Buster Sword and some sick armor/mech. I would then proceed to save the universe. I've got some ideas from the anime I'm creating, but I can't give anything away.

What Makes You Buy and Play a Video Game?

"Usually screenshots and trailers is what will make me buy a video game. Well, at least with new games. As for old games. I'll usually just go into the store and look at the the back of a game, read it and buy it if I like the looks and description of it. Or if my friends tell me about a good old game I'll try and buy it.

But I don't buy many new games anymore. Games in general are just crap now, and not worth the money.

But on the bright side, it makes for higher anticipation when a game I'm waiting for comes out. I can't wait for FFXi.

Not being able swear at people at work can be tough though. I'll just go out back and say a bunch of swears when I'm aggravated. That always makes me feel better. And depending on what family members or people I'm around, I'll curb my swearing to fit thier needs for the time being. "

"So this is only second wall I have ever made. I made one a while ago when I started making sigs. While I like it, it's pretty much garbage. Now with a little more experience with GIMP, I have attempted my second wall.

I saved this image at a higher quality and it looks much better then the previous wall I posted.

It may not look like it, but this took me like 7+ hours to make. I actually went through some TUTS for the first time and they really helped. Once I finished this draft, I put it as my wall so I could really critique myself.

As stated in the sig, I downloaded the vector. It's clearly the best looking part of the wall. While I did manipulate the colors and do some effects with the vector to fit the scheme, viesiu deserves a ton of credit for producing such a high quality vector.

As for the brushes and texts, I feel like the quality might be a little low. What does everyone think? I don't know if it has to do with the quality I saved it at though. As stated in the facts, they say to save images at '7' in PS. But I use GIMP and it's a '1-100' scale. So I saved it at 70%.

While I like the overall theme of the wall, the vector is clearly the highest quality. So any tips and critiques are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Final Fantasy XIII

"I'm so pumped up for this game. I can't remember the last time I've been this excited for a game release?! Probably Halo 2 or 3. But even with those, I don't feel that the wait was as anticipated as this wait is for me. I like how the battle system appears to work and I absolutely love the artistic direction of the game in general. The whole design of the game seems to have a FFVII feel to it, and the fact that Lightning was designed as a female Cloud Strife is amazing and I would buy it for that fact alone. FFVII is the best RPG of all time in my eyes and I feel that 13 may be the only one that comes close to even touching it.

"I'm most definitely a proud anime fan and I've taken so much crap for it. A lot of my friends have never understood it and could never understand why I like it so much. I've come to learn that there is no such thing as a casual anime fan. People either love it or hate. But I kind of like it like that. I would never want anime to go very mainstream in America and become completely watered down like some other entertainment genres. I like anime the way it is and and prefer no casual fans."
