This was mainly a project for me to learn how to work with vectors in Illustrator. I used Illustrator to extract out two characters from a scan, filling in for the occluded parts of each character. I then positioned these two vectored versions on a background which I had previously messed with using filters.
I know it's a simple creation, but I am quite happy with the resulting image quality. Please let me know if these is appropriate for submission.
"I find that Del-Rey Manga is the best. They have done great work on Tsubasa. I like their translation notes aslo.
TokyoPop is okay. I like what they have done with Gravitation for the most part. Most of my manga come from them since they seem to have the most series.
Viz is the worst in my opinion. They are slow, and they seem to be the only ones not selling the authentic right to left pages.
