Death: What is death to you?

"I still, do not see death as fearful yet. I have met with few death, but to those who are not so close to myself. Even when my grandmother died, I still do not feel the lost. I guess that's because I'm not close to her. Sure, I've heard of thousands of deaths in my everyday life, but that doesn't really make much differences in me.

Now, I think death as something that sooner or later will come to you. There's no use running, when the time has come. Unless you had fallen ill and there's a chance for you to recover, then I'll struggle to live. I do wish for a quick and painless death, or something that you might call natural death or death by old age. But really I do wonder if I really want to stay in this world that long, well, if the medical technology has advance till where you can live for 150 years, I don't think that's going to make me happy living for a century and half. That seems to be so long that I wonder if all the other demons don't get mad living it lol. Or maybe because 10 years human life equal to 1 day of their life hahha.

Anyways, the conclusion is, I'm still not sure whether or not death is another portal to a new life as in reincarnation, I have to make sure of it myself, or anything really. Maybe one day where I'll die of old age, I might be able to answer this question. But to me, death is the end of the road and the beginning of another path. Where there is death, there is life and vice versa."

World War III (3)

"I do sincerely believe that the WWi has already taken place. The not so peaceful prelude of the upcoming war is already playing, though it is still playing in introductory base. I do think that there will be a day, where a certain event will trigger the already ongoing prelude to reach it's climax, and that's what we are going to call WWi. And I kind of wanted to predict that we might be able to get a glimpse on the next World War, which I hope that my predicting skill fails hopelessly... But then again, I'm not physic or anything so, yep.

It'll be great though that if the current war can be done as it is, and called Afga War or something. (Not to mock anyone participating in it, but I do see it pointless to drag it this long.) I do think now is the best time to stop this nonsense and maybe make the world a better place for those who wish to live in this world and not to wage pointless war. But really, I do wish we can stop this ridiculous war and spend the rest of the nation budget on helping provinces that has high crime rate or poverty ridden or those that has natural disasters strike their home. Isn't these a much better way spending all those money on? I guess the real problem here would be money. I kind of started to feel that the one who created money as a tool of trade is a fool... Or maybe it's just human nature. I mean, without money we don't need to worry about economic and all other things. We can print as much as paper we can, without distrupting the nation's economy.

Really, I can't see what good can the creation of money to date has given us. That is, my humblest opinion upon these matters."

Demon or Angel

"Ever since I'm beginning to understand the world, I kind of see the world as not in white and black, but really everything's gray. There's no specific answer in this and there's really no rule saying that I couldn't answer the box so... I guess I would really be an angel. In my sense, an angel is equal to death. An angel pick a human soul and reap it, in the same sense as death do. And death doesn't necessarily brings those souls to hell, though angel would probably take them to heaven. But then again, who said that all souls that are fetched by angels go to heaven(in my own argument anyways)?

So in my side of view, an angel does have the power of a devil, thought they doesn't really shown by the appearance of the angel. Don't try to make an angel mad, they might turn to a devil lol. So my answer is yes, an angel, but still, as explained before, I do want demonic powers ehhehe."

American Manga is it the real deal?

"Really, I have no hard feelings on those people who drew manga in
'Manga' style no matter where they came for. But unfortunately, manga
that is drawn in different countries gives off a different feeling. As the
example given in the previous post (can't remember which, too lazy to
scroll back). Korean manga has its own style, even though drawn pretty
much in the same style as Japanese Manga. Sure, this similarity might
convinced me of saying they are Manga. But really, these mangas have
different styles calling them Manga in general doesn't really fix the
controversial that arises amongs the Manga fans... I've seen manga
made by Taiwanese, Mainland China (basically Wu Xia mangas), Korean,
Indonesian and American. American style (one of the Sandman saga)
that I read really disappoint me... The author is definitely trying to
implement japanese style, but it's rather hard to read, it's a bit messy
compared to a japanese manga...

If, if, the style of the manga/comic is similar to japanese style, and the
order of the whole page is similar to those, why not, I'll call it a Manga,
no matter if the Mangaka is white, black, yellow or brown. But different
style of drawing manga, I think, deserve their own name. Like Korean
Manwha, Taiwanese/chinese ManHua, Japanese Manga, and American
Comic... That's what I think."

Summer or Winter Time?!?!

"Huh. Well, an out of the box answer... Fall and Spring. They're the best season
in Canada. Not sure in Australia or other part of the 4 seasons country.
The weather is perfect for me during Fall and Spring. about 14-20 degree celcius,
might be colder and might be hotter but it's alright.

If I must answer your question, Winter. Precisely nearly the same reasons you
have there... Except I only agree on, no sweats, can keep warm with extra layer
of clothes and for another reason, you do not have to keep on changing clothes
every half a day. Yeh, I'm living by myself and it's a pain that you have to keep
on washing and ironing your clothes. I'm lazy. Oh another pointer why I answered
Winter, because during summer time, my house do not own an air-conditioner
and the humidity kills. Oh, not do not own, my landlord is simply a petty and stingy,
so, no aircon. Yeah. So that's the reasons."

Global Warming

"I do think that Global Warming is already upon us. Where I live, well, in this case
Canada, there's a noticeable changes in the weather, so do as mentioned above,
in Indonesia. The weather is having changes to it. Sooner or later, it'll turn to worse.

In Canada for example, Winter is coming later and, just giving example for the sake
of the argument, ten years ago, Canada does not even need air conditioner. Since
when have we started using such utilities? It's clear that global warming has already
creeping slowly beside us.

Erm, chances of the world reducing the production of green house gases and pollution...
Hardly ever going to work. Kyoto protocol is not strict enough and even now Canada
has turned away from Kyoto protocol for another what seems "reachable" for the
country's economic. With all these sacrifices to be done to stop global warming...
I hardly believe there will be actions to be taken soon by the global goverments.

There's also another way, transportation. Use public transportation, and you can
reduce pollution greatly! But, are you going to bear with it inside the bus packed
with people like tuna in the can? Can everyone transit with public transportation
anyways? People will be late everyday if that's the case. I do think government
might want to imply a policy about owning a car. A stricter regulation maybe(which
I do not support because it'll trouble me too... Yeah, I'm selfish). So, we might be
just sitting down waiting for the day the Earth's mad at us(whoops, watch too much
anime...)"

Social acceptance

"Hmm... I guess people just dislike people who went out from what they see
as the 'common' or 'proper' behaviour/attitudes. I really do not tolerate people
who looks down on Anime as cartoons/kid stuffs.

I personally, am not normal. I'm supposed to be Asian yet, I do not seem to
be nutured in Asia part of the world. I can say my body porpotion is similar to
the western world, and it often makes people alienate me... Heck, I believe it's
me, and if people don't accept me as I am, then it's their loss...

Another problem as most of you experienced, the love of Anime and Manga.
I believe that my interest in it won't fade forever though.

And yes, even at my age, I still like childish stuff, except Teletubbies or similar
TV shows. I think that's what is really 'stupid' for me. I guess the world is ruled
by this invisible line of what's common and what's not, it drives abnormal people
such as me crazy."

what do you perfer, watching anime on tv or on computer?

"Honestly, I prefer it on computer, since it probably will be in a better solution,
and besides, if I watch it on my computer, I won't have to watch it in the living
room. Some anime, like Blood movie and other that has certain aspects of it
which is not suitable for kids, is preferred to be watched alone. I'm living with
someone else who has a small child. So obviously, the answer is PC.

It's a different case again if I'm at my own home."

"Quite a lot, and I'm wondering whether or not should I have taken linguistic
as my major haha. Currently able to speak 6 languages, mostly south east
Asia languages. Been wanting to learn Japanese, and I'm taking a class on it.
Wondering whether or not I should learn Korean.

But I do wish to learn French, Spanish, Latin, German and Greek. Obviously
though, if I do not take classes on them... I don't think I'll ever go and learn
them by myself hehe."
