Oh hush, Kanye west doesn't sing, he raps. The fact that he is one of the most popular rappers of this generation[despite opinions, this is a fact buddy!] is undeniable proof that he can in fact, "sell himself". No one bought graduation because Lupe or Chris Martin featured in a couple of tracks[not saying they aren't great artists in there own right].

Graduation was quite good, as are his previous albums. Hes not the best hip-hop artist in history but hes defiantly got something."

"This is one of the best hip-hop albums I've heard in awhile. Better than Kanye's Graduation too. They both have good tracks, but The Cool has more of them.

I'd definatly say Lupe, Kanye and Common are the better hip-hop artists of this generation."

"Amon Tobins alright yeah. I liked 'Out from Outwhere' and the Chaos theory albums.
Check out Boards of Canada, they're fantastic. Not as breakbeat as Amon though, more ambient.

'Battles' are good too, similar sort of style but with more live instruments than computerized effects. "

however theres just way too much going on. Aside from this there is no main focal point because Vincent is faded into the background. Look into vectoring and start over, although its not terrible its not good enough in my opinion to be saved by criticism at this point. Never be afraid to go back to the drawing board! :]

You picked quite a good image of Vincent there, I just think alot more could be done with it. Good luck mate, I'm sure you can do well.

Although there are three typefaces, because of the similar style between some Times New Roman and Prestige/courier is it?, it looks like there are only two, some kind of script and times new roman. I was taught that two is the the general rule of thumb when designing, so try to keep that in mind, but In this instance I don't think it necessarily matters.

Aside from this, its a very decent wallpaper[I hate saying 'wall']. The image looks very well cut out, unless its a vector, in which case its a good vector! :]I'm not so sure it needs quite so many elements in the background but it could just be me! I think submit it, and you'll get a decent rating. Someones had some previous design experience ;]

haha, I love Illustrator, Its my weapon of choice. :]

On the wallpaper: I think theres a good idea behind it, It just hasn't been executed very well. Try again and give the lines a lower stroke. Pen tool the outlines first, you don't need to necessarily link the lines up, then go over it again In a different layer and pen tool the colour in. This will take double the time, but give it a more hand-drawn and clean look. Good luck!
