I don´t think Final Fantasy XII would be the best of all. In final fantasy saga there are so many good titles (like Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X and some others) that is difficult for this game to be the better.
I know that in this FFXII there´s a lot of new features like the combat system, the story, the ambientation in Final Fantasy Tacticas universe, the new ability system, the new characters and all that stuff.
But are this changes for good?? I don´t think so, the combat mode is a little strange for all the fans of Final Fantasy, is very similar to Parasite Eve than turn-based battles of Final Fantasy. The story seems so typical that is not good enought to be a FF and the music composer isn´t Nobuo Uematsu, and the quality of the compositions are good but not as excelent as the songs of Nobuo.
The graphics are awesome and so the CG appearing in the game, the enemies and characters are well animated and the scenary are full in 3D. With graphics there isn´t a problem but I think this is the only point of this game that is great. But well, I can´t say much more...I have to wait for a translated European version here in Spain and see with my own eyes the entire title and joy and play it for myself ^^

I think that technology is getting the best of the games that we play these days
Developers are so worried about making their games look top notch and realitic they forget about why they are making the games in the first place, and that is for the pure enjoyment of the gamers.
With the next generation of consoles like the PS3, Xbox and Wii i wonder what the games will be like.
There are games that are so beautifully rendered that gamers more likely drool over the polygon babes if you know waht im sayin LOL, than actually taking the time to understand what the hell the games about.
And even at school i have even heard of people talking about games and dissing games that are not as good looking as others but the gameplay of that game is better.

Ill try to give an example. Lets for example talk about fight games.
You can bet your @$$ the chicks in them will have short panties or BIG as boobs and what ever.
Ok maybe that dosnt matter but well lets compare the 3-D fighting game tekken which is popular to the old school arcade games. Say SNK VS Capcom

I reckon tekken is extremely boring and lame, and its slow
Compare it to old school 2-D games, they were fast and damn furious
They were about maxing up and finishing with supa combos and all, the gameplay had eyecandies and the feeling of that rush in the fight. I remember practically beating the shit out of the joysticks LOL
They sure were a hell lot of fun to play

Compare it to tekken its more like, punch, back, defend and frakly its not as hyper

Anyway its not to say all games are like that, soul-calibur is good, very good

Anyway back to my point, most of the games are concentrating on graphics than actual elements that make a game fun. Only a few games that are worth playing, Hlaf-Life 2 is a good example. Graphics was there, gameplay was there. And halflife aftermath which is in its working stage looks promising.

Anyway thats my opinion, i still have the old snes games, secret of mana, chronno trigger, F-Zero

To me the graphics may be crap but at least they are fun like games are meant to be.

Unfortunately, many casual gamers and idiots nowadays believe that better graphics = better gameplay, which cannot be further from the truth. The genius of games like Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger, Contra 3, Castlevania etc will never be truly realized because unless produced for a handheld, they'll most likely suffer from low sales and such, even if the reviews recieved are extremely praising. Also, the conversion from a 2D series to 3D isn't always smooth. The 3D Castlevania games pale in comparison to their 2D counterparts, for example.

I just hope that with the more powerful handhelds we have today, more of the old games we know and love will be ported to them.

I think part of the problem with our prison systemis that even the ones who are suppossed to rot in jail all their lives for doing what they do seem to be able to escape and end up doing it again. Some of our prisons seem to have a revolving door when it comes to people breaking out and you always have the bleeding hearts that say that rotting in a room in solitary is too inhumane but as soon as you let them mingle with thepopulation of prison they kill someone else like another inmate or guard. The families feel no real justice when someone is put to death but at least some of the population may say hey we cant do that because we will be put to death. Here the states that dont have the death penalty also dont have a handle on what to do with these people for the rest of their lives. It costs an enormous amount of money every year to keep these criminals comfortable with three hot meals, a tv, a recreation room and access to libraries and education etc that a lot of them re commit to go back. Even the prisons that were suppossed to hold the criminals for life and not have any escapees couldnt do it and what are you going to tell a parent or sister of a person or several persons that are slaughtered at the hands of some deranged killer when they escape from a life sentence. Not tomention with all of the appeals that they get they can easily get a life sentence turned over based on a technicality like someone forgot to stamp a paper that was filed and walk right out the front door with every intention to kill again. I know that in criminology we were taught that it is not cost effective to kill people in prison due to the amounts of appeals they get and the fact that the state pays for it all, but some crimes like the bombing here in Oklahoma was so heinous that he needed to be put to death. If it had not been done by leathal injection he would have had to be in a hole all his life with no contact with any human or he would have been killed by shank by any of the inmates. Look for example at what happened to Jeffrey Dahmer-he had a life sentence and it didnt take long at all for the inamtes to deal justice. Not having the ultamate punishment for the ultimate crime-and most states dont hand it down for one killing but several and a lot of evidence and DNA etc--then what will you do with these people. We have no place for them to be that doesnt endanger society if they escape.

I gotta say from all of the new characters, i`m not realy happy with any of them as much as I thought I would be, I sorta felt Wario was coming. The one I liked most is MetaKnight.

Metaknight is a character in the kirbey games and despite some people thinking that he is a very, wel amongst villains he isnt excactly intimidating but I just think this guy is realy cool. I dont play with Kirby much anymore but he is a good character, now think of Kirby and make him more ofensive, alot more. And you got MetaKnight. He has a cool look and his fighting style is pretty awesome. And also I think its cool that Wario is in here, I was never a fan of him but he deserves to be in the game.

Now Zero suit samus is, wel i`m not to sure if I realy like it. I`l have to see more, her sword looks cool. Pit is who I dislike the most, he looks as if he would so not fit in there. A little angel like boy with a bow. No thanks, not for now atleast. And Snake, wel at first I thought it would be awesome having him, but then I thought twice and he realy shouldnt be in there. I want him out.

Well this is something thats been going to my head for a long time since the start of March this year... I was thinking what would be the best choice or preference... to be the team leader or just a tema member...

I posted an article in my blog at efx2 the same month (March) stating the diffuculties that I have at work when one of the most reliable co-worker resign his post. You could visit my blog at http://quatro.efx2.com/ if you guys want to read the whole story... the article is named "One man team" and it really suited the situation at that time.

Since that time, I've been thinking what to do from that point. Currently, I an one of the head in department handling our company's website, layout from the production and other stuff... Its been a difficult task of handling different department at once but thats what you have to do as a team leader.

Now, I would just like to seek some comments/suggestion from you guys... what would you prefer? to be a team leader or a team member? Why do I ask this? Well maybe because the thought of resigning my current job to be part of another company (which of course I will not be a department head unless I'm really qualified)

Team leader and being a team member has its own pros and cons... and I myself have sort things out but it would be best to seek out advise first before making drastic moves... so hope you guys could give me some

Does anyone familiar with the history years ago? that the Japanese has involved in the World War II, invading china and korea etc.?
Well I'm still young and i didnt go through the tough days. But one thing i couldnt understand and accept is that y are they trying to change the history books used in schools? are they trying to cover up or deny what they have done in the past?
What is this man.. they killed so many ppl, raped so many and whatsoever.. have they ever considered the feelings of the victims' families when they are trying to get rid of their past mistakes (at least for me, those are mistakes) by changing the history books? maybe should i say that they are ashamed of themselves if the truth is passed down to the younger generations?
I dont think this is a right way anyhow, the history should be something that will remind us not to repeat our mistakes again. Dont you think so? well i admit that everything of the japanese is nice and i actually like them too, but just this one single thing that i'm definitely against it!
does anyone have any ideas on wat are they trying to change? i dont really know the details of that so called "new version" history. It seems that the "victims" have gotten quite angry on this issue too.

pls feel free to correct me if i'm wrong cuz i dont really follow closely on the world's news.. and tell me your opinions too ^^; i'll treasure it. Opps pls dont think that I'm those racialist or political fellas, i just want to know more of wat people think =) and i accept any opinions. thx!

The Problem is I-No. Jes, Jes dont laugh. She is very hard or to hard for me. :-(
My favorits are Bridget or the ultra fighter :D > Ky <
Okay in the story line is i-No almost ultra strong and you lost the game
when she start his overdrive attacks.
Then they are everywhere balls and you have no chance to block this attack
or jump over it or other thing.
Now my Question: How can I defeat her?

The games are awesome and what is it with most of you people and only playing the first two?.. My opinion is SH 3 is the best then SH 2 then 4 and 1 are tied for 3rd. First one I played was SH 3, I saw a commercial and rented it. After having the crap scared I finally finished it and I've been hooked on horror stuff ever since, though the best and most under-rated horror game I'd have to say is Fatal Frame, Silent Hill is just barely behind then Eternal Darkness and finally Resident Evil. I've played every good SV game out there and if you liked the first two SH's go out and rent the rest then get Fatal Frame, you won't be disappointed.

To Roy 262: SH wouldn't be half as good if it wasn't for it's soundtrack, I mean, boot it up and play it muted, not even half as scary. I downloaded all the soundtracks, 152 songs from all the games and some remixes, great stuff, perfect if you're in the mood to get creeped out, especially if you've played the games because as a song comes on often I'll remember the part of the game it was from, fond memories, that Akira Yamaoka is a genius.

To mmullaney: The soundtracks came with all the games as pre-order bonuses not just 3.

Im in a high anticipation of this one, I picked up a copy of "MGS3 Substance" and have kept myself occupied with all the niffty little add-ons in that version; (Also did the same with "MSG2 Substance" when that hit the stores awhile back.) Speaking of "MSG2", Did anyone hear that Raiden has made his famed return to the series and is all grown up now ^_^ He looks like he's gonna be instresting this time, With all said so far this is a top notch peice of work, let's keep those thumbs nimble people (lol), [I should be a reviewer of some sort lol] Anyway thanks again!

(again, lol) But this time with a kick, the "PS3" is in the stages of re-making a classic this time folks, "FFVII" [Big dramtic clap] will make it's return with a well sought out bang by Sony, they've so far completed in capturing my heart, How about yours? In addition the visuals have improved 10 fold!, and they've stayed right down to the nitty-gritty with the story line. A must have for all (and I mean ALL!) of you "FF" gurus amungst us... But untill then, "X-Box" has me with the massive MMORPG "FFXI" and all of those great things that come along with it, (lol)

Well, I don't think Sakura is the most useless character ever. I mean, she has her moments. Their not big moments, but they are moments.

I think that the most useless character would have to be Mr. Satan (AKA Hercule) from dragonball Z/GT. Come on!! Everybody has got to agree with me here. I bet you two woulda even named him if his name popped up in your head. I HATE HIM So MUCH! He's the biggest loser ever!! I swear, I wouldn't really care if he was in denial with the fact that he's the strongest guy ever. But its the fact that he believes he's the strongest guy ever that pisses me off. Why the F**K would he take credit for beating Cell. I wouldn't care if Goku was the one who beat him, but no, a kid beat Cell. What Mr. Satan did was pretty much steal candy from a baby (steal Gohan's victory).

the problem is not because of their interest, it is because of the interest that hinders the way they do stuff, most of them, sadly are antisocial fools who spend their days hiding with their hobbies, some of them lack hygiene practices of any type. I myself have seen a few and sadly, I must admit I do not find their presence enjoyable either under the influence of heavy smell of sweat and dust covered hair.
Their dedication to their hobbies often result in this, which is why I do fear them some times.
Perhaps it is this overlaying unhygienic feature that drives the girls away, not because of their hobbies.
