how about add some light to the lantern and since there is the light of the lantern maybe brighten the character more too

Hi there claud, you're working hard in your wall, the same way I have seen in your previous walls, and the truth is that you always achieve an impressive wallpapers, I really like your work. I think you have given your wall a 180º turn, I like a lot the new idea, it emphasizes the first plane, what you see in front of you and gives strentgh and a loooot lot of depth to the background, the only only only point that I'll work a little more is the star field, because from my point of view, in you wall all the stars have the same size and the same shine/glow if I were you I'll play with the sizes and different amount of glow on each star.

I'd work on the stars a bit more personally - I'm not sure why you made them blue, it looks kinda funny.

A good starfield needs two things - a wide variety of sizes of star and varying density. Ie you need a few big stars, a few small ones, a few medium sized one, and you need some bits where they're quite well clumped together and other bits where there are none. You seem to have your brush set so that the stars are too close and dense and of a imilar size; and then you're just drawing backwards and forwards. Try to look at some stocks and match your brush stroke pattern to where the stars are denser.

What may help you is if you add in some clouds - that way you'll have less sky to fill and you'll be less tempted to put loads of stars Emoticon.

In terms of submission most of the versions would probably have been alright - gallery approval is more about if the chara is well extracted or you've just slapped a chara on a stock, and most stuff is rejected simply cos there's no sig :/. You can still tweak and get crit in the gallery, session zero is more about when you're stuck in the work in progress stages.

Hi there, acording to your last preview I'll change a pair of things, first of all, am I the only one tired of the Photoshop grass brush?? almost a 60% of walls have it, I'm not saying it's not nice or that it's ugly in your wall, but it's always the same brush!! there is no another one?? however the grass is ok for me.

I like the starfield and the main concept of the wall, but, I think if you'll remove the glow of the mountains, make darker the far house lights, and lower the water reflections on the mountains, the wall will gain depth.

Secondly, I think you have a serious contrast problem in it, the water has a very low contrast with the mountains due to the reflection and it's a little bit confusing, and Aoi is not contrast against the general lights, I think her illuminated areas must be more strong because she's illuminated by a wide starfield.
