After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! "Funnily enough, I made one of my teachers become an anime fan.I started an anime club at my high school and asked one of my teachers to sponsor the club for me. It's easy enough. All she had to do was be there, nothing else, since I run 100% of the club. However, after showing Fruits Basket, Fate/Stay Night, Millennium Actress, Jigoku Shoujo, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and several others, she's just as willing to talk with me about what we watched as any of my peers."

Fashion = Style?

"Oh dear, fashion versus style. This will end up long, I'm sure.In my opinion, "fashion" is trendy. Fashion is what we see on the catwalks, the magazines, the advertisements, media, everywhere we look. Fashion can certainly be a part of style, but they aren't the same. Fashion is brand name, expensive, and fashion is more about who you're wearing rather than what. If you follow fashion shows and exhibits, then you have to wonder how some of the things featured are fashion at all! They can be ugly, clashing, and absolutely unflattering on even the prettiest model. But somewhere, someone is going to shell out some major bucks because maybe it's got the hottest name in the business stamped on the tag.
Style, however, is personal. A stylish person is a person that looks good in what they're wearing. Style can be anything from $2000 jeans at the hippest boutique in the metro area to a shirt for a dollar at Goodwill. Style is what you make it, and isn't limited to any name other than your own. Everyone has a style, but not everyone is fashionable. Just as someone can be fashionable, but not have a style. They just wear whatever is cool at the time, and if it changes, then so do they. They don't have any style other than what the designer thinks, in my opinion.
I mean, one of the most beautiful things in my closet is a skirt that I sewed from scraps of cloth for less than $30 dollars, yet when wearing it downtown when I do decide to shop in the more pricey areas, it's been estimated at a $600 skirt! Go figure, huh? But I wouldn't sell it for the world because it's mine. It's part of my style, and I wouldn't want to sell that to anyone else."

"I would have to agree with you whole-heartedly. All their content has decreased in quality and interest in the past few years. Toonami, regular scheduling, [adult swim], all their original programming fails to entertain as of late. Camp Lazlo and My Gym Partner is a Monkey were wastes of space, but I do approve of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and the cartoon featuring Andre 3000. As a native Atlantan, the Atlanta culture represented in that cartoon and the music is a nice twist, though I don't know exactly how they are marketing that across the US. It's an interesting concept and watchable.However, [Adult Swim] is at least a little better. Venture Bros and the Boondocks were absolutely brilliant. Their anime choices made me unhappy as of late, though. Blood+ is an awesome anime up to about episode 13 and then degrades into positively awful writing. Bleach is a good choice as far as marketing goes, but I personally do not care for it. Trinity Blood is a good novel and manga, but the anime was positively cringe-worthy. Death Note is, in my opinion, a fun series when you're alone. Other fans of that series are absolutely horrifying. I like it in secret, but I won't admit it to anyone. FullMetal Alchemist was the best that they had for me, and I adored every second. So I'll start watching again once they pick up a title I'd like to see."

What kind of ending do you hate the most?

"Honestly, I love an anime where the ending isn't happy for the main character. If they end off worse than they started, I think it's a unique and noteworthy anime. It's a concept in some darker manga titles, though I haven't seen it often in an anime. It's interesting to delve into the darker psychology of the human mind, and that's one of the fun parts about watching anime to me."View
What anime do you think needs another season?

"I'd love another season of Fate/Stay Night with the Unlimited Blade Works route or the Heaven's Feel route. Or even Ataraxia or the Fate/Zero stories would be great!I'd also be interested in seeing a season/anime of Blood+ focusing on the time between the Zoo and Vietnam. There was so much inferred but not much explained..."

"D. Gray-Man is my favourite manga of the moment. I can't wait for the new chapters, and in my opinion, is the best thing in Jump at the moment. My favourite characters are Komui and General Cross, to say the least, though I adore Allen because he's adorable and awesome."View
