After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Whats the best way to start up an image and saving for the web?

"I usually start an image with:
1024/768
300 resolution
8 bit
RGB

and save for the web as:
jpeg
100 percent
no blur
no interlaced

lets just say the image is 8 bit and i transfer it to a 16 bit blank canvas, would it be any different? is starting an image as 8 bit better than 16 bit? Im asking this becasue most of my images/wallpapers are really jaggy and was wondering 16 bit will help. thanx^^"

-go to save as web
-jpeg
-quality 80
-blur:05 and thats it.

I veiwed it 25% and it was really jaggy as viewing the thumbnail. whats the best way to save an image as? help?

The scan looks clean enough, it's actually a pretty nice looking scan with the lighting and all. Try a little gradient usage if you'd like to enhance the lighting. or transparent shape layers. :D Just experiment, that's really the only way of getting to know your photoshopcs (and boy are you lucky to have cs). As for improvements: the text is kinda cheesy and doesnt fit well with the straight edges that are all over the rest of your wall. Find another cleaner-looking text and don't be afraid to position it non-centered or overlapped or something lol. throw a little variety in! The bright bright red in the bg doesn't fit the rich crimson of the character's dress. I'd say, darken it...a lot, lol, so that way the glowy petals and the scan will stand out more. Much potential here! Keep at it!
