Is anime a lonely hobby?

"Hm...not really. I learn japanese in college and almost all my classmates came there because they are anime fans. And even before I got in colllege, I can't say I felt lonely. I really love anime, and all the things that I love are practically my life. They are as important as friends are to me, so why would that make me lonely? I'm sometimes pissed when I'm really obsessed with some anime serie and I don't have anyone to talk with, but that's why I have interenet, fansites, etc :)"

Do fansubs help or hurt anime?

"I don't really care how much money the studios are making, as long as they don't care about releasing anime in more countries. I can't find any anime dvds in mine, so what choice do I have? Even if I like it or not, fansubs are the only solution.

Now to answer your question, if we think about all countries, not just America or other few countries where anime dvds are released, I think fansubs actually helps the producers. That anime is getting more popular, and it can't be a bad thing. For example, we can at least find manga here, so if I like a an anime, I would like to buy the manga. ( even if I don't, because it's too expensive, but that's another story. Anyways, I have a lot of friends that buy tons of manga, just because they liked the anime, and that's because they had fansubs, right? )"

If someone has a problem with it and can't bring some real arguments, it's just doesn't worth you thinking about what he said. "I don't want tons of money like mindeless people do. They gather and gather...for what? Poor people die because they don't have money to buy food, and they just gather...and keep gathering...without actually using them for anything. But having money just for surviving at the limit isn't good either. I can say I have no major problems with food, clothes and other stuff, but I don't have enough money to buy books or other things that I like. So yes, with some money you can buy a little happiness, but the rest depends on you."

"I hope they will work more at the plot. The second season was kinda crappy ( don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Gundam 00 fan, not a hater, and with all my indulgence, the second season was REALLY bad ). But we'll get to see the movie two years from now, after the DVD comes out...gaaah. I want to see the trailer, that's supossed to come out earlier. I wonder if we're gonna see the first trailer until next winter.
