This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

"Hmmmm, the wallpaper is good now, although I think the vectored saber still stands out too much when compared to the background (too much clarity difference probably, happens to vectors often). You might just want to blur her a little.

Another small thing about the vector is some white wool lining of her cape looks a little too sharp."

First Vector (Needing Critiques)

"First off, it's a pretty well done vector. Besides what Danalm has pointed out, below are a little nitpicks that I find. Just ignore them if you wish :)

I assume you use the vector shape layer method to do it, since there's much varying thickness and sharp edges in the vector. It's just a good practice to remember while having varying thickness makes a picture look good, there needs to be some sort of consistency with the thickness as well, that is the thickness shouldn't vary by too much. The more noticeable case that I find are the thickness of the outlines of her hair. Some are really thick (top hair part) and some are so thin you can barely see it (bottom most hair part). Same applies for her clothes as well. Some are very thick when compared to others.

More about the hair. As a whole, it looks fine. But I think the circular part of her hair (especially the bottom right and left part (our perspective) of the circular hair) might need more outlines. Take the second left most strand (part of the circular hair) for example. There's like a hole in the hair, the hole's fine but it looks weird without any outlines going to and from the hole. Same for the bottom right circular hair, where another small bunch-strand of hair split from away from the main circle.
You might just wanna add some outlines to show how it joins/split.

I see that you like using gradient colours :D Not a bad thing, I use quite a bit myself, but just make sure you don't overuse too much, cuz they tend give a 3d feel, which might be a good thing depending your intention. The shadows on her clothes, in my very humble opinion, has a wee bit much gradient on, but that's just my purely my view.

And lastly, I think since you've gone through all the effort to vector it, just make a background for it. This way you can get more reviews and appreciations :)"
