After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Best way to downscale a vector image?

I am kinda worried about the eyes, I hope I get it right, took me about an hour+ to get the first eye right... Comments, critiques or anything are very appreciated.
I find the bg of the original scan pretty alright so the wallpaper background will probably similar to the scan."

"Hi, just learned vectoring (using adobe photoshop) a week ago and I started vectoring a cg from Akai Ito (PS2 visual novel). I am vectoring it from scratch of course, but I am just kind of worried if it will be accepted as a wallpaper, or it'll only be accepted as a vector scan =/The original image is 640x480 res:

This is how much I am up to so far after 3 days (roughly 6-7 hours of work per day) >_<:

Note that I will of course finish the remaining work, background, etc, so it won't be just a character vector (at resolution 1600x1200 etc)... But I am just worried, hopefully I can get some comments from experienced wallers.
Also I am curious about the "hair light" thingie. You know, the white colour shiny part on the hair section, how I did it is by reducing the opacity to get it translucent, but the down point is that the "whiteness" gets decreased using this method, so I am wondering if there are any better ways to do it.

"Yea it hits me from time to time. The most recent one is no doubt Aria the Natural... which is why I am reading the manga now...Not long ago, it's Fate/Stay Night, and so it made me play the game (and finished it)...

"O_O This topic is so mind-boggling.Having said that, as much as I enjoy anime, I don't think anyone should really go as far as "loving" a character, and even worst when comparing to another real life person. It's good to enjoy the show, like the characters, enjoy knowing them more, but loving is still a bit... over the fence I think. Then again, I am not too worried, most of you who are thinking that you'll liking a fictional character more than a real life person are mostly likely still single, and by the time you find the special someone, you'll change, a lot.
Don't get too obsessive with anything still, I'll say that."

"What can I say. More than awesome. Aria is very hard to describe what's good, but when you watch it, it just gives you the "good feeling, everything's so nice" kinda feel. Aria the Natural made me love it evenmore. Now reading the manga... up to volume 5 now...Also I've played it the theme song Undine on my organ recently:

"Most people would probably know her from Rozen Maiden only...In any case, her latest album is Thindaria no Tane, all the songs in the album is original and almost all (except 2-3) are composed by her. A pretty good album I'd say. Her major album is Ashiato no Rhythm, but most songs are from main theme of visual novels that she sang for, although it's still a very good album.
