After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

"I think that you could use a different font for the bottom bit "cage without a key", size it down and make the spacing between the letters a bit bigger, and you'll get something like the font in Kyendo's Twilight, then I think it'll be perfect. "View

"You could still make the portrait version, and just extend the edges to make it the standard monitor resolutions for submission. I personally think that you should remove the blue rays and the grass, and place a sort of mirror in between the two Rukia's. Then the ghostly Rukia could be her image in the mirror. Maybe you could also vector in her left arm and hand with the fingers lightly touching the glass. That would look lovely, I think. "View

"I'm not really sure but at that small resolution, I can't really see the details.. I think the wall on the left looks more realistic than the wall on the right. Perhaps doing what you did to the left hand side to the right hand side would remedy this? However I think that the right wall at the moment looks rather 2-D-ish. I suggest adding some shadows to suggest depth. I also think that the left wall's top edge looks rather cut off. Perhaps you could lighten the top to suggest somewhat that light is shining on it?"View

"Oh, this is really nice, highknees! I've been watching your progress since the inuyasha wallpaper, and you've really improved! The stark black and white look is fine, but after all the ipod parodys I've seen recently, I've grown weary of solid colours. What I suggest is an alternate colour scheme, maybe brown/sepia? The edges could also be feathered, and I think would look good with an outer glow sort of thing with a light grunge as fooblued suggested. May I also beseech you to make it in 1600X1200? It shouldn't be any trouble scaling up the vector. "View

"Oh, looking good! Now all it needs is some text to complete it. I suggest something like overlay with some outer glow so it looks like the font in JTsang's wall reminisence would look nice. I think that the background looks fine to me, but if you want to touch it up I suggest you duplicate the background layer and apply a noise->median 4-6px and set blending mode multiply, 30-50% opacity and the original layer opacity 50-70%. "This is indeed a very nice scan which I would love to see turned into a wall. One on hand I would like to see the full scan without the peephole effect, as in she is on a bed in some ornate bedroom, but on the other hand I think the peephole idea is good too. As likagen suggested, I think you could place some brass ormentation to suggest that it is a keyhole (try looking up stocks on http://sxc.hu/). If the focus is on the girl, then you should apply a small gaussian blur to the surrounding keyhole."View

I suggest you put a thought balloon instead with a small cartoonish ed in one of those fuming poses he often adopts, since the oops is already indicated by the water droplet on windry's head I don't think you need to actually write the words oops.If you want to keep the oops though, I suggest a comic book like font instead. I think www.blambot.com should have some nice appropriate comic-like fonts. "

"I seem to have an unhealthy collection of fonts. Among my favourites areKilligraphy (beautiful script), LemonChicken (reminds me of restaurant menus), Papyrus (looks like a Lord of the Rings font), Blackadder (unique old style calligraphic script) and Caeldera (nice title font).
I actually have psd files that contain text with different fonts arranged according to type calligraphic, graffitti, .. in which when I want to add text, I just scroll along and select the font I want and copy and paste it into my wall, good when your collection of fonts is large and searching for the font you want is tedious. "

I remember reading one paper that proposed that the universe is a quantum tunnelling phenomena from nothing. (And this is a serious academic paper published in a respectable journal). The caveat is that as with all scientific theories, it cannot be absolutely proven. I think peacemaker kurogane had a lot of potential, but was let down by a too-slow plot. Chrono crusade also started off slow but redeemed itself in the later part of the series. "First of all, I think you should use the rubber stamp tool to try to remove that edge of the butterfly on the collar of the guy. I think it's an artifact of the original scan? Also, the background behind the wooden sceen looks a bit pixelated, maybe you could smoothen it out. I think butterflies and circles that are scattered around could be improved by adding some colour gradient to them instead of plain white? I personally think that the font would look nicer semi-transparent instead of opaque and maybe with a colour gradient instead of plain black and white. Otherwise, this looks good! "View

"Are those white triangles on the edges of the boxes intentional? If they aren't, I suggest you remove them. If you want to make all the squares have cut off edges then I also suggest you cut off all the edges, not only 3 of them as in the bottom left box. Also, the cloud like things in the box looks funny with the edges pronounced. I suggest you duplicate the layer and do a noise->median about 5-6px and or multiply it (maybe 50% opacity to the duplicated layer and 50% to the bottom layer) to make it more smooth. I think the feather next to the font doesn't look much like a feather, how about searching around for a better one? (Try asking inuchan143 where she got the feather in her latest wall from, it's a really nice feather.) Also, maybe you could change the blending mode/blending properties of the font and black lines to make it look like it's not just pasted on. (Try duplicating the layer and using a feathered mask with overlay or colour burn). I think the extraction on the right side of her clothes/shoulder could use some work, it looks a bit uneven/patchy at the moment.Otherwise, I think this is a good attempt, the colours match very well! "
