How come AnimePaper is blocked by web filters?

"I've noticed that some web filters block people from accessing AnimePaper.
I'm in the 10th grade right now, and I attend a special advanced high school where students stay in dormitories during the week. They have internet in each room but filter out specific types of websites. Everytime I try to access AnimePaper in my dormitory it says that it's categorized under "Pornography" and can't be viewed. But Minitokyo and AnimeLayer aren't blocked.
So now I can't access AP except on weekends if I decide to sign out of school to go home. How can AP be categorized as a pornographic site?"

"The edges of the scan in the first wallpaper is feathered, the edges seem to fade out. The scan in the second one is burnt, it's a little too dark. The scan in the third one is the best in my opinion.
And I like the background from the second one best because the colors make the abstract effects stand out more. I think if you use the scan from the third one and the background from the second one, that would be best."

"Try going over the extraction of the character. Her hair looks a little jagged. And as for the background, it looks a little plain, they're just lines. How about something more abstract, or a little more effects. That'll make the wallpaper look better. Hope this helps!"

"You could try vectoring to get rid of the jaggedness on the character. Since it's just a silhouette, vectoring it shouldn't be too hard."

"Ah, the scan used is cute. But for some reason, the stone steps in the background doesn't seem to fit with the scan. It looks to me like a posterize effect was applied to a real photograph of the stone steps, I apologize if I'm wrong though. But in any case, the stone steps looks a little realistic and not very cartoonish. Perhaps, a little blurring or smudging or re-cg'ing may help. That's my opinion."

"Pretty good idea for a wallpaper, school's starting pretty soon for me too. There is a little bit of jagged edges with the character, try fixing that.
And as for the background, I think the board looks more like a sticker. You could maybe make the border wooden instead of a black outline, and maybe some drop shadow might help too.

"The character is too blurry and his hair doesn't look like it was extracted too well. The spiraling and sparkling trail around the character is cool, but it needs to look like it spirals a bit farther away from the character. It looks like it's touching him in the wallpaper.

The background doesn't look like much effort was placed into it. Like trismugistus said, it shouldn't just be a cloud layer for a background. If you're going for an abstract background, add more layers with effects or random brushing. And the faded character in the background is too plain and is usually used by beginners."

"The extraction of the characters is ok. But the background looks just a little too plain. There doesn't seem to be anything other than a few layers with clouds, difference clouds, or wave set to square filters used. Sorry if I sound harsh but the background could use a lot of work. ^^;;"

Full Metal Alchemist Wallpaper

"The title might look better if it wasn't stretched out all in 1 line. Like maybe "Edward Elric" and then behind it in a slightly larger size but less opacity "The Fullmetal Alchemist". And the poem shouldn't have a drop shadow, it makes it stand out. It would look better if the poem was at a smaller size and the title above the poem instead of them being in 2 different places.

The extraction of the character is good. But the background seems a little too plain. Grassfield and then a sky isn't very realistic. Maybe put some trees, or mountains, those will make the scenery more realistic. And the sky looks a little dull. A light source or maybe some birds will make it look better, or even some stars or a moon, that's what most people tend to do nowadays."

"The extraction is ok but there are still some areas that may use some improvements.
The background looks a bit plain in my opinion. The white lines contrasts too much with the dark background and draws attention away from the character. And like claud said before me, the moon doesn't fit into the design. Moon are usually used in scenery background and doesn't really go well into an abstract, technical background."

"The extraction is really good, and the background is a really nice composite of different images.
However the scan of the girl is cut off on the right side, her dress is cut off. You have to move the image down so the cut-off dress is not shown on the wallpaper.
And also the minimum wallpaper resolution on AnimePaper is 1024 x 768. Yours is 800 x 600, so you'll have to make a larger version if this isn't a scaled down version of a larger one."

"Pretty good for a first wallpaper. The background abstract looks well-made. However I don't think you need that much bevel on the words, it seems to stand out a bit too much. And also, the lightning bolts looks like the same ones copied and rotated. I could be wrong and I apologize if I am, but it might look a bit more natural if the lightning was a bit more random. "

"The extraction is well done and the background is good too. However, like the last 2 posters have said, that leaves is the main problem. They are too small and it makes them not look too realistic. Try making the leaves a little larger and not as many. And as highknees has said, make them vary in size and clarity, and also in angle and roundness. You can do this by adjusting the settings in Shape Dynamics in the Brushes palette. And if you want a more abstract effect, you can make multiple layers with different blending modes.

"Lol, omg, that's hilarious! I think the night version is fits a little better. However, I think that if you maybe add a little lightning, like a thunderstorm or something of the sort, into the night background, it would fit the theme better. But this is just my opinion. Laggoon Engine Wallpaper- need help >_

"Good concept for the wallpaper. But some parts could use a little improvement. The extraction looks jagged. The cloud above the guy is clear that it's been smudged and edited, perhaps blurring it a little can solve it.

The guy does look like a sticker stuck on top of the clouds. You could maybe fade out the guy near the bottom or add a semi-transparent cloud near the bottom so it looks like he's sitting in the cloud and not a sticker stuck on top of a cloud picture.

And the image does look a little empty. Perhaps a planet or a moon, or maybe some birds will make it a little more interesting.
