"Ghost in the Shell, definitely. Although here, I think the main conflict is internal: how man coexists with machine, how man is able to retain his humanity given this, or maybe even the question of what humanity is--is it dictated by nature, is it acquired?

Personally, I found the film one of the most thought-provoking ones I've seen in a long time, when I first watched it. Ghost in the Shell: Innocence was, too. "

"Check out Tokyo Tower. It's fairly new, I think. A very well-made movie. Initially I watched it because Matsumoto Jun is there, but a few minutes into the movie, I completely forgot about that. It just blows you away. I highly recommend it."

Battle Royale

"I've read most of the manga and I've watched Battle Royale 1. I find it extremely interesting (aside from gory and violent, of course). It started out as a novel, initially, and I think the manga was just based off that. I might do a mini-research on the ideologies behind the movie/novel/manga if I have the time. I mean, things like this don't come out of nowhere, right? And looking at the movie, its main point wasn't the violence, nor the character relationships. Both the movie and the manga had a very interesting premise, something I'd like to look deeper into."

"Well, you certainly picked out good pictures to start with, and you've got the color scheme down. ^^ I suggest that you play around more with layers, text and shapes, rather than just sticking to one kind of stamp/color mix. Play with gradients, brightness/contrasts, and shadows. ^^

"Pet peeve: Wrong spelling and bad grammar. It's okay with me when it's not the person's first/primary language, but when it's been taught for more than a decade in school and is practically present in every aspect of one's everyday life, it just gets annoying. Oh, especially when people intentionally screw around with the language just to look "cute," or when they ostracize you just because you speak and write good English--this just pisses me off.

Can you die in your sleep because of a dream?

"I'm not sure about dying in a dream translating to death irl, but in my country, we've got this belief that if you eat a lot and then sleep immediately after, there's a chance that you'll get a nightmare and die in bed. We call this "bangungot". Some folk myths are still pretty much believed by a lot of people (it's starting to die out, but there are still a lot of believers around the age of 50-60, and a lot more of the younger people the farther away from the city you get). It's probably due to cardiac arrest if anything like it ever happens, but some choose to explain it through folk beliefs, i guess."

Gay Marriage

"I support gay rights. Yes, I do agree that it doesn't matter whether you're biologically male or female--you can't force who you love, regardless of gender. And I see nothing wrong with gay union/marriage. What we need is tolerance. Lots of it. There's just too much discrimination--it's pretty much everywhere. Some people are just too close-minded about things. :\

Furthermore, morals are relative, and beliefs personal. Heck, truth itself is relative. How are we to argue with such vague and open grounds as our basis? Endpoint is: there's nothing wrong with being oneself, and being proud of who one is."

"I watched Densha Otoko too~ Once, when a bunch of my friends marathoned it. I haven't really been able to watch other stuff, though. They air a lot of locally-dubbed Taiwanese/Korean/Chinese dramas here, though. Recently the drama "Meteor Garden" which was based off Hana Yori Dango was a real big hit...though I didn't dare touch it. Ahaha. x_x"

How Long Does It Take You To Get Ready In The Mornings?

"Funny. It takes me a looong time. Around an hour. Actually I shower pretty fast, around 5-10 minutes tops. It's picking out what to wear for the day that takes looong. <_> That's one thing I miss about high school--just a uniform and you're all set. We don't have a dress code for our university, so you can pretty much wear whatever you want. I have to consider the weather and how much walking in between buildings I'll have to do, though. o_o"
