Odin Sphere [PS2]

"I've got this game and it took quite a while to get my hands on it initially since theres so little of them in stores so it was sold out for the first couple weeks. I havn't played it lately but I'm upto Oswald's book which is the second to last book. Depending on how you play as well the characters are hard or easy. My only gripe is the insane lag in some parts and the wtf loading after dying from a boss since i was just there shouldn't it still be in memory or something? other than that, its a beautiful game."

FFXIII: Next big hit or a crash and burner?

"Im also a great fan of the final fantasy series, all started for me at final fantasy 6 and ever since i've been trying to get as much final fantasy in me. another thing i been itching for is a female lead character that isn't such a pansy and seeing how they are making final fantasy 13's lead character like a female cloud, thats just hot.
another thing i really like and it seems like thats in the next final fantasy is more fast paced action that requires more multitasking. another thing im also looking forward to with the ff13 is that its supposed to be the first final fantasy series with sequels. they're supposed to be releasing 3 chapters in final fantasy 13 as seperate games later. seeing how theres a pretty large hard drive in the ps3, i hope theres a feature that really uses the hdd to sorta buffer/stream content from the disc to the hdd sorta like a pagefile. i currently dont have a ps3 but i'd probably buy one just for ff13 but i think i should wait to see if they'd port it to the 360 or something."

"I really liked ar tonelico 1 with its fairly old style non 3d game play. one thing i really hated was the lag and such during the fights, i do hope thats fixed in ar tonelico 2. i also love tony's art too but the first game's art is also very nice."

"GTO was one of those animes i tried to get family members to watch, crazy me. but some of my younger relatives enjoyed it as i did, i guess its one of those funny/serious/life lessons animes that are fun to watch. whenever i don't find anything good to watch anymore i always get a craving to rewatch gto again just because its so amusing and onizuka's adventures and reactions are so off the wall."

"I personally liked shuffle and i had a tip that it was gonna be a pretty decent one. at first i thought it was just gonna be a typical harem+fanservice anime but then the drama and plot gets thicker and thicker and a tear-jerker as well. its too bad that i cant show this to most of my friends because they don't really watch animes. "I've personally loved cowboy bebop with its style and its aweome and fantasticly matching soundtrack and visuals. watching it on a very nice speaker setup just brings everything out and its one anime where you can jump into any part of it and still enjoy it.

just watching the movie trailer makes me want to watch the movie again. and i believe cowboy bebop is one of those rare animes that are actually better in english dub then they are in japanese and i believe its partly due to steve blum's(spike) voice talent. a fantastic watch and re-watch anime."

mm shame you only got 1gb dual channel. i've upgraded to 2gb dual channel and it makes a world of happiness that i dont have to wait for! am2 is nice and its a futureproofing option because you can eventually upgrade to a stronger dualcore when they drop in price like the 5000 x2 and future fx series. though i'll probably get a 4400 and reuse my ram and videocard (get a asrock sata2 dual, has both pci-e and agp slots on a 939 socket). that should only cost me 300 bucks. cpu and 2 mobos! because cpu and mobo combo for 179, then asrock for another 80 bucks."

it looks nice and has a pretty good looking display.
has a max size of 1gb and has a fm tuner
amazing battery life at nearly 50hours

i have it and the only downside is the software, sony's sonicstage sucks so much. also you cant just drag and drop files or anything as easy as that. its also nearly impossible to recover songs from it. display looks nice but outside in sunlight, its pratically useless. needs a usb to charge it though it charges very fast.

it is a pretty good alternative to ipod nano, if you dont mind the lame software.
this may or may not help but atleast you know from an owner that it indeed does suck in some parts and good in some others."

"Animes i watch around in my house and some random people come in and ask why im watching cartoons or something, and then say i should grow up. then they come back a couple minutes later and notice theres some mature subjects and maybe some nudity and something bouncing and panties. then they switch it around and call me a perv for watching it. some animes are cute and happy and seem like its just for kids like ichigo mashimaro or bottle fairy, but then theres some that are a gray area which has some kiddy art but are more mature in subject. then theres the animes that are just plain graphic and vulgar which is the way i like it.

what i'd think is anime is anime, until 4kids get their hands on it. then it becomes a cartoon."

Why Naruto?!?

"I personally never really liked naruto much. maybe it was because its wayy too mainstream, though i could maybe get into it if i actually started watching it just like how i did with bleach. i thought bleach was gonna be lame but i eventually got interested. i also keep hearing alot of annoying gripes about fillers in my anime channel and how now at around episode 200 and such the fillers and recaps are a couple episodes long.

eventually i'll run out of other stuff to watch and end up watching naruto and convert to narutardism, i pray that day will never come."

"Airsoft guns from tokyo marui are dead sexy. customizeable and upgradeable. also fun because you can shoot at your siblings and hopefully not kill them (lol). its like a starter hobby for those who love guns but cant quite afford them becaues they cost a couple hundred dollars and are most likely illegal."

"I'd recommend battle fairy: yukikazefor a good and short jet anime. it would benefit a lot more if you have a 5.1 speaker setup so that you can take the full soundeffects because they're just awesome, decent story but the aircraft designs are quite cool and unique.

another recommendation thats kinda a personal favorite is Great Teacher Onizuka despite its old and unclean looking animation, its a pretty good anime with a good story and continuation between episodes. also has a good touch of humor and comedy by the teacher onizuka."

"Yum cats, i love my friend's siamese cat who is quite catty. she would meow so much and would try to get your attention by lying down and squirming on the ground. cats seem quite smart too, that siamese cat would really become annoying when she has to go to the litterbox. and when we're sleeping, it start jumping and walking on us to try and wake us up to let her out. i keep going to the cat cages when i go to the petstores just because i wanna play with the cats even though im there to buy dog food and other dog stuff for my 3 goldens."

"I usually tend to not watch or really really delay on watching the last couple episodes of an anime, i just sometimes dont want it to end :(. but when you get on a marathon on watching an anime and its a good one, you'll end up at the end and saying to yourself "what?? over already?" sometimes i would stop at a peak and never watch it again (lol) like kenshin tv which i stopped watching at around episode 65."

"I don't know if its just me but i really liked the lufia series from snes, though i only played rise of the sinistrals i totally loved how you had simple tools and what not that you had to use to get through dungeons with the puzzles. it was also very oriented on the step puzzles where it counts steps and something always happens when you step, it uses that in one of the bush puzzles. its also pretty decent in story too, ever since snes i wanted another, newer, lufia to play but alas it has died out.

another good one that i absolutely demand is earthbound (mother in japan). that seriously needs a remake or sequel. totally awesome on how it gathers information about you in the beginning and sorta applies it in the game, also the music and sound effects are comedic and fitting at the same time, its as if some guy just recorded a bunch of odds and ends of vocal sound and made it into soundeffects and menu clicks."

"Lightscribe is pretty neat in that you dont need to worry about your illegible handwriting, but yes you do need some lightscribe discs. i clearly remember seeing them at my local fry's electronics. not sure if you can slap anything on top like prints so that you can burn non-lightscribe discs."

"So far, anime has totally killed my normal sleep cycle and has probably made me a lot more perverted. but it has influenced me to do other things that are mostly with graphics and imagery. also trying to learn japanese and wanting to go to the holy land (japan duh). and hopefully if i meet another person who is into anime, its actually a good icebreaker... sorta.

anime is probably the only reason why im buying a ton of blank dvds and wanting bigger harddrives."
