I think you're just not used to being around guys, since you've been in a girls' school for so long. You'll get used to their company soon, and then you'll probably wonder why you even liked some of these guys. Maybe you're just not used to male pheromones?

It kind of depends on you as well, how you react and behave around guys.
I have a friend that was in a boys' school for a long time, and when he went to a coed school, he was really awkward around girls. He's still slightly awkward, but getting better.
On the other hand, I know a guy who's been in a boys' school all his life, all the way from preschool until high school. But he gets along great with girls, every time I meet him he's with a girl or two. And the boy is good, he makes a great first impression and is totally relaxed.

I have a question. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, don't take this the wrong way, but it's a serious question. Do you have any friends your own age, or are all your friends teachers? If the teachers are your ony friends, then it might make sense that you've developed a crush on your teacher.

Even if this teacher is leaving, you still shouldn't do anything about it or act on your feelings. Because of the vast age difference, and the fact that you're still a minor he could still get into serious trouble. I don't think it's very practical or will work out either. It's probably impossible, not to mention the fact that he might be married with children.

It might be painful, but it's hardly worth getting suicidal over. You can hardly stop them from leaving, it's their jobs and affects their lives in a big way. If you're really friends with them, you can always keep in touch with them. Be it by emails, phone calls, textes/ smses or letters. That way you can still remain friends with them even if you don't see them all the time anymore.
I'm sure you still keep in contact with friends from your old school right? I moved halfway across the world and I'm still in contact with many of my old friends. It might take more work, but if you value their friendship then it's worth it.

Even if you lose these friends, I'm sure you can make new ones. It might be hard being the new kid in school, where everyone already knows someone, but you don't know a single person, but it will get easier. Find someone you have something in common with, or feel comfortable with. You can just approach someone who you feel comfortable with, or who's nice to you and extend your friendship to them. They'll have friends as well, so by making that one friend, you'll probaby make even more.

If the gnawing pain in your heart is from this teacher leaving, I'm sorry to tell you that love hurts and you're going to feel it again. Unrequited love might be painful, but you'll learn to deal with it eventually in your own way. You'll find a boy that's closer to your age, and then you'll be happy with him and forget about all of this. You're still young, you will find the right person for you eventually ^-^
Remember that no guy is worth you hurting yourself over. So don't do anything rash and hurt yourself.
