After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

The most innovative new anime out there..
3 years 3 weeks ago
"Innovative is a pretty relative term...but if you're talking about animes that are definitely different and are trying something new, I'd place my bets on Gankutsuou. It's not too often that an anime comes along that offers a mind-blowing art style.I'm actually surprised nobody brought up NHK! (otherwise known as Welcome to the NHK!). What other anime is about a depressed/paranoid reject from society trying to find his place? It's not too often a anime is totally based off of dark humor. Now that is innovative."

what do you feel about anime Mai HiME??
3 years 3 weeks ago
"I agree with everyone else that the ending could have been made so much better. And that Mai-Hime is really great story-wise, but one of the things that prevents it from being on my favorite list is how the story changed halfway from happy and funny to dark and angsty. Overall, i think it was a great series, but I wish they spread more of the funny parts evenly so the last half of the series wasn't so depressing."View
What if life were more like anime :D
3 years 3 weeks ago
"If life was like anime, I'd go blind from all the bright and shiny colors, especially since my eyes will be the size of plates too. But it would be cool cuz then i would be able to replace my eyes with synthetic ones and go around saving the world from angsty boys in giant mecha.Yea. Safe to say I prefer living in our world right now. But I wouldn't mind the crazy hairstyles though ^^"

Which anime series are totally different than the manga?
3 years 3 weeks ago
"The Escaflowne manga is totally different than the anime...so much so that I actually don't think they're related to one another, besides the fact that they both involve giant mecha. In my opinion, I think that manga are much better because they convey so much more dialogue and story. Animes should be better, but in reality companies just don't have enough time and money to make animes as long and detailed as mangas are. That and some animes seem to fall to the crappy-animation trend that seems to be going around now."

Inspiration

"Very true for me. It's hard to make a wall out of a scan you just don't like that much even though you really like the character. And sometimes inspiration just hits you suddenly, so it's kinda hard to predict."

Did you start liking Japan after seeing Anime?
3 years 3 weeks ago
"I have to admit I did find Japan more interesting after watching anime. And I do want to at least visit it...but at the same time I have to say that seeing all the weird things that Japanese people do in their free time, my opinion is that if you need to do that stuff to get a kick out of life, maybe life over there ain't that great. That and how much school Japanese students take in their lifetime. Japan is first in the world for the number of hours students are at school each day. Ouch."

The Wrost Ending Of All Time
3 years 3 weeks ago
"Yea. That ending sucked so badly. Seriously, how do you go from being hopeful, fanservicy, and optimistic for the whole series to dark, angsty, and just dark in an ending? Geez that was a horrible one.
And the ending for the Chrono Crusade anime sucked horribly too...it was way too depressing for its own good. At least the Chrono Crusade manga ending got it right..."

What do you think anime will look like 10-20 years from now?
3 years 3 weeks ago
"Well, right now because computer-generated graphics are more cost-efficient than drawing anime, almost all of the new animes have some cg graphics in them. In fact, some animes are purely cg...but I forgot which ones.As for 3-D animes, I don't think we'll be seeing much of those in the future, partly because of their lack of popularity. Maybe something along the lines of Appleseed. Plus, you have to add in the fact that purely 3-D animes are really, really much more expensive to make than traditional cg and cel animes. If anything, we'll only see 3-D in anime movies like Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within or Advent Children (which rocked)."

What series got you into anime?
3 years 3 weeks ago
"There seems to be a lot of people who got started on anime by Pokemon and Dragonball Z heh. I guess I'll stand out and say that it was Outlaw Star that got me started...I remember sneaking out at midnight just to watch it on TV.But it wasn't until I watched Onegai Teacher that I got totally hooked though =P"
