Ichigeki Sacchu HoiHoi-san Screencap vector

"Zomg I am so totally late to comment on the latest version. Death, taxes, and school. >_<

You've got the right idea with the boxes and the books, keep it up! Gotta fill up the other shelves and put some more clutter around, shouldn't be a problem, just tedious.

For lighting and atmosphere issues, I think Jason's advice is the way to go. You might want to recap an one of my earlier posts here, especially the link about the interaction of light and color, which might be of help.

Also, you have to decide what the look and style should be - it is not easy to mix atmospheric lighting style (moonlight), the vector cel-shading style (walls, floor, guy in futon), heavy texturing (furniture), etc. It remains quite a jumble of styles that doesn't combine well. Hopefully Jason can help with this. Another thing to keep in mind here is your outlines; all those thick black/dark outlines gives a very cartoonish look which rather clashes with the atmospheric lighting effects.

Blu3's got everything else mostly covered as well - particularly the scenery outside the window; the large moon and gradient sky isn't working so well; even with a 2- or 3-storey house you'd expect to see some things outside besides just the sky. I suggest you go back to the screencap for this - indeed, looks like some kind of mountain or slope there. If it helps to put things in perspective, the perfectly horizontal line in the perspective guides corresponds your eye level. (diagram)

This is certainly one loong project, so I agree, it's gonna be worth celebrating when you get it done! Keep up the good work!"

always aim for that AAA rating. :D

Right... there are only 7 walls with that rating. Out of, like >7800 walls. That's less than one out of 1000.
Of course, one of them belongs to you, so... XÞ (jk)"

1 year 8 months ago

"- Go to your profile and select "E-mail Address"
- delete your email address, leave the box empty, and click the "save it" button
- the page will now inform you that your email was successfully changed.
- now just go to the main page www.animepaper.net
- the site will now ask you for your email and birthday. enter them and save.
- check your UP. should be fixed."

Arei
I didnt think it would because it was a better scan because I did send in a much better quality/cleaner scan of a pre-exsisting one before and it was denied. If this was the case in this circumstance I dont think it should be allowed, or I should allowed to upload that better quality scan I wanted to submit before.

Perhaps you can point out the scan in question and post your (claimed) better one for comparison. It's better if we can see what you're talking about rather than just your vague statements."

A suggestion about downloading scans...

"There is no difference. A loss of connection also leads to a timeout. As long as the browser window is still on the download page, use right click > view image instead of refreshing the whole page will resolve the issue."
