After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Upload Problem

"The problem is, that the AnimePaper system didn't confirm the second upload, but redirected me to an empty page after I chose to open the file in the browser. It may be a local problem, that Firefox sometimes asks the user how to handle a .php file with 0kb of content, but if there was no anomaly in the AP-system it should have worked perfectly like the first upload by opening the file in the browser. I assume that the transfer of the file itself was OK, because my packet logging tool reported that the file was completely sent and all packets were acknowleged by the AP-server."View
Upload Problem

"Hi,some minutes ago I tried to upload two scans. The first one(about 800kb) went just fine, but on the second one(2100kb) Firefox asked me to download or open a "submit-handler.php" after some time. The file didn't contain anything, so I'm not sure what went wrong. It also doesn't seem to be a submission error, because my webstats state that the whole file has been submitted successfully.

"Thank's for your opinion.So it's mainly the background you think. I intentionally blurred it to seperate it from the foreground. Putting her in an indoor environment that fits the series will be kind of problematic, because I want the background to be clearly related to the Fuuka castle. Most perspectives of the inside rooms and floors that would match the perspective of the character would look boring, because the castle has nearly no characteristic objects inside.
The thing about the grey floor is that it's not really meant to be a floor but an half transparent overlay like at the top to get a kind of widescreen feeling onto the background. In combination with the white bottom of the background perhaps a not so lucky decision.
I'll have to think about it. Perhaps I should trash the whole castle idea and do another vector of her for the background."

"Hi, everyone.Yesterday I sumitted this Wallpaper to the gallery. I thought ist finished and of sufficient quality but it got rejected by a mod stating only that it's not of sufficient quality. Then I had a deeper look into the wallpaper FAQ but I still have no idea, so I worte a message asking to detail the decision a bit more enableing me to improve the wallpaper, but I got no reply until now. So I'm asking all of you, if anybody could help me in finding the reason.
Heres a little info about the wallpaper:
It's my first 100% vectored character. I've done some particially vectored characters before, but never a more than 50% vector character.
The character was vectored from a 640x480 screenshot, so I had to put some imagination on how the details would look if magified by some 100%. At first I did all the outline work with the path tool in illustrator(took me nearly one day to get it right). After that I converted all the paths to solid objects, put very small variations on the linewidth and got rid of all lines with a round ending trying to immitate the drawing style of My-Otome as close as possible. Then I intersected the outlines with a solid rectangle to obtain the objects covering the areas for coloring and assigned subtle gradients as their fill colors.
The present box was basically done the same way, but I used my wacom to draw the concept sketch for it myself. The coloring was choosen to resemble the box that Arika got from Sergei with all the fake princess stuff in it. The logo is a vectored version of the original logo.
I got the idea for the wallpaper when I rewatched episode 12 to get some screenshots for a forum entry at my website. Seeing that Arika looks almost cuter in her princess dress than in her robe I noticed that theres actually no poster around showing her in that dress. Together with the idea of making Sergeis birthday present a "Fake Princess Kit" I startet the wallpaper. I chose Fuuka castle for the background, because I wanted to give the wallpaper a good fitting theme and not just some kind of filterfancy or cloudy background that has nothing to do with my vectors in the foreground.
Awaiting your improvement suggestions.

Download System does not work.

"Do you really think this is a Firefox problem? There's a FireFox logo at the bottom of the page indicating that this site is possibly optimised for FireFox. Perhaps the problem is related to the accidental deletion of many files in the gallery that I read about at the front page. Anyways it would be great if this can be somehow fixed and I can get my papers back. The image I tried to download had a thumbnail, so I thought that it wasn't affected by the accidental deletion of files.At least it would be nice to know which files can be safely downloaded and which ones not, before trying it again and loosing papers."

"Hi there, I just registered and uploaded a scan. Glad to have earned 100 papers I went to the scan section and tried to download an image that required 36 papers for downloading. So I clicked on the download link and a new site opened, saying that I should perform a right click on the image to save it. But no image showed up, even not after 5 minutes of waiting. After that I tried a right click on the empty section below the hint, but the "save as" command only brought up an error message that the image file could not be found on the server. So I went back to the main site and realized that 75 papers have been consumed by this action and all I got for this 75 papers was an error message. :(Is there a way to get the download system working and to get my 75 papers back? I'd be grateful for any help on that.
(I'm using FireFox 1.0.4 if that information is somehow useful)
