"I just logged on because I saw this, I don't get to log on that much because I'm too busy for it right now, but I have to say, this isn't a feature I would find helpful. I don't want to filter out anything because at the end of the day I'm against filtering. All it does is uphold someone's ability to be stupid concerning something they may not like today but might enjoy later, and once it's filtered it takes too many steps to un-filter something so that it shows up... In the end it winds up being useless.

I'd nix this feature. Another thing to consider is, if enough people filter a certain category, does that mean that category becomes a candidate to be deleted? Whole other can of worms I wouldn't want to even come up.

I just looked a bit closer, and I have to say it really just panders to a user's subjective feelings rather than objective thought. "Love" vs. "hate" is just not a good way to rate anything. "

"If you update a wallpaper in Session Zero to a new revision using the "submit revision" button, is it supposed to stay way down on the 2nd or 3rd page? Right now, even if you post a new comment it doesn't move to the top of the line like the old session zero used to do, so someone who doesn't go back a few pages wont see any new revisions."

"Ok, one thing that happened is when you reply to someone in session zero the reply doesn't come up, and if you go ahead and try to repost, then both come up. Also, after that happened, I got this message on my screen.



It's says I'm no longer allowed to post. I'm not sure what's going on but that freaked my out since I was in the chatroom trying to keep from getting in trouble over it. I'm in a tab that was already opened in firefox 2, so I'm hoping it's a glitch and this goes through.

"I'm not sure what the issue of "fanart" is. Making the claim with no real proof doesn't make it true. However, there are a couple of things that need fixed.





The tips of the some of the wings are missing, the moon is a weird color relative to the rest of the wall, the butterflies are too uniform and the Chinese text is only good if you read Chinese.

The moon looks just about perfect, not at all like it looked in the earlier version. It actually looks like it's part of the background, in fact I almost didn't notice it at first. The color of the car is much better... I'd say it's good to go for submission. :)

Edit: I wish you'd do a larger version, I'd like to put it on my desktop. Can you up it to 1600 x 1200? If not that's fine. "

Sorry if i am harsh or anything.

I did say clearly in the first sentence in this post... "This is a rough sketch of the wall." I just brushed it together to get an idea about the composition and structure... I also said, "The background hasn't been painted yet, it's basically just brushed together. The lake is going to extend beyond the horizon, might put some boats like you see in Hong Kong Harbor, just for effect. The colors aren't exactly what I want."

Normally I would ignore a post like this one, but... I couldn't help pointing out that I already addressed all of this in my first post. "

What I'm looking for is this: How's the composition? Should the lighting be more muted or brighter? What kind of trees? Should there be birds? Stuff like that.

The background is a bit too dark. try making it lighter... maybe not too much lighter, but definitely not that dark.

"I quickly did a thing to it, maybe you might want to try this. The city almost looks like it's in a blackout.



All I did was add an afterglow to the city skyline and bit of lights from the buildings. It gives a counterpoint to the BG so when you add a moon it wont overpower the view. "

A Short Break for the Mods

"I think there should be a weekly or daily deadline. What do I mean by that? I mean that it should be that all submissions should be due in by midnight, friday night, and for two days no submissions will be accepted till monday, 6 am. Seriously. Even in our hobby we don't wall every day, why should the mods have to work on looking at our submissions every day? Either weekly or daily, if you don't have your submissions in by midnight, you have to wait.

Hey, it might even help people pay more attention to their submissions. Imagine, it's 15 minutes after midnight, you missed the deadline, and you have your wall on your desktop, but 3 hours later you see a mistake that might have doomed your chances. "Hey", you say, "I have time to make the change". Bet it would save some time in the long run too by not having so many "almost but not quite" submissions."

"Like in the pic above, it looks like the color is off by a bit not just on the side that's circled, but also on the other side as well.

If it's due to a curtain... I don't see a curtain either, so this appears to be an interpretation dispute. The whole thing looks pretty good. It's either the color from the area above or it's the maybe it's the bottom of the side "curtain"?

Keep in mind, the minimum size the site will accept is 1024 x 768. Also, a larger version is easier to give a good critique. Right now, we can't really see it but I can tell you a bit.

The layout is good, but it's a been done before. If you do a general search on google for "card captor sakura wallpaper" you'll find a large number of "main scan/ghost scan" walls. However, if this one is really big (1600 x 1200) and clean it might be worth considering.
