"Add some vector in the background as well, you see the right head's hair, thos dark bit looks nice for the background, try get a vector brush and brush something like that onto the bottom left, its a bit plain with just cloud.

I think it wouldnt get accepted for now as JUST cloud filter (or something similar) background is hated by the mod.

This also applied to gradients, using gradient then do somework over it is fine, but JUST gradient will NOT make it, as it shows the submitter did not put alot of effort in creating the background.

Personally i think its ok, dont ditch it! With some touchup on the background, it would prob have higher chance of getting accept."

"I use both lasso and pen tool, I tends to use the pen tool because I feel I get the better outcome, but its about 3 times more time needed to extract, and the lasso if I make a mistake, its a pain sometimes.

I prefer zooming the image to maximum, but that depends of peoples liking."

"First, size wrong, ment to be 1024x768, your old one is right, i assume you made a mistake.

For the wallpaper:

1. It looks over contrasted/saturation or what ever

2. The green background doesnt really suit the scan.

3. Also I see some pixelated lines on the scan (e.g. handle of the key...)

4. Try not to make the 4 people on the window "transparent", it looks really weird to me!

Personally, I think the first background is better, without the white splashy effect, leaving it as plain gradient blue'y white squares, also dont brush over/set scan as overlay or what ever, it doesnt look nice, overall I think its a good wallpaper for your first attempt, but i think it need some more work for it to be accepted. :P"

this could be great for doing job for each others like:
1. Extracting this scan for me and I pay you xxx amount of paper.
2. Help me create a good background and I pay you xxx amount of paper.

but there could be a problem that people in this site become more meany and not liking to help anyone unless they get papers as reward.

Its against the rule to submit anything, scan or wallpaper which does not belongs to you, even your family, so your best bet is to create an account for her, why you dont let her go on animepaper anyway, it isnt such a bad place is it?
