This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

What Will You Do If You Have A Death Note Book?

"To be honest, randomly scribing names and faces off the news would be somewhat amusing. There's no need for some self-inflated sense of justice nor something so puerile as fulfilling grudges. Just random people might break the daily grind."

Is Life Creuler than Death??

1 year 2 months ago

"I'll put aside the main question, being that there is no one who can assuredly claim to have experienced both life and death. Then, in the case of the former, it would be far more fruitful to inquire into the nature of said cruelties, a miserable despair and the relations that might construe such thinking. More often than not, most who find life cruel are those who find their own lives cruel, or rather, unfair. It should be noted that it is the intrinsic nature of despair to despair over one's inability to die, to yearn for life moreso than those who live without despair.

Despair, an outlook that finds life cruel, is rooted in one's relation to one's self, but to adhere to the belief that life in itself is cruel is a passive form of relating one to one's self without relating to that relation. But to be incapable of accepting oneself, to relate oneself to the action of relating one to oneself, that maybe the second form of a more true despair. The third, as I've yet to understand it, is the despair of wishing to be oneself and the relations that that entails.

Thus, it's questionable as to how to answer such an ill-formed and ill-informed question. Perhaps one should read a tad bit and figure out the parameters of their queries?"

If you hate your friands will you tell them?

1 year 2 months ago

"Friendship depends upon the personality of the parties involved. Your case, I believe is simply a confused situation, perhaps misunderstandings, perhaps nothing more than an affectation? Though I suppose, to speak truthfully, when resentment begins to fester, one borne out of envy and feelings of inferiority, then it'd be best to examine yourself more closely. Of course, even saying that, it's quite impossible, as one who labors alone labors further into oneself."

Eternal Sonata Demo

1 year 2 months ago

"It's a gorgeous demo but unfortunately, it seems a bit too archaic. The battles are very simple (nothing beats the first Grandia) and the overworld is too linear. Here's to hoping that the full release will open up and gain some depth, otherwise it'll be more a pretty Tales knockoff than something of its own."

Anyone watch Tsubasa Chronicles or XXXHolic?

"I was wondering, how are people watching xxxholic? I can't seem to find any english widescreen version of the series and watching Mishicorps fansub of the 4:3 screen is too cruel."

Is the console generation going to far ????

"Can technology really go too far? Isn't the inherent purpose of it exactly to surpass itself and all expectations? I would have rather asked if it really hasn't gone far enough.(o_o) emoticon "

"A wonderfully beautiful game but as you said, on the easy side. Perhaps if it had more depth and stood more on its own merits than taking from Zelda, it could've been more than just a good game wrapped in a unique art style."

Chrono Cross

"There was at times something great about Chrono Cross, mostly in the beginning and after the neat twist at the disc change but as mentioned before, too many character and an unfulfilling end story and climax kept it from being a true classic like it's spiritual predecessor. Still, the graphics were great, the music fantastic, and the battle system interesting, just didn't care too much for the leveling up system."

Difficult Levels

kyosuke

-The ancient ship from Otogi Myth of Demons. You are riding a ship, crossing through a river, trying to keep some slime-like enemies away from it so they don't sink it. In fact, passing this level is TOO easy, but the main problem here is to obtain the 100% of the level, which you achieve by destroying some elements from the stage itself (signs, crystals, other ships, etc) and in order to do that, you need to get off the boat, and while you're out of it, your mana levels get drained, and when it's totally empty, you can through the river and you instantly lose.

I kind of wish that game were backwards compatible so that I could play that level again. Of recent games, God Hand definitely takes the 2006's Most Difficult Game award by a landslide. On hard mode...(._.); emoticon "

Most Annoying Thing In A Game

1 year 3 months ago

"The most annoying thing (in regards to RPGs) is the lack of a new game+ option. It's usually the sole incentive to replay and many seem to avoid giving it.:| emoticon

Also, bosses that you defeat in battle only to find out that they "let you win" and who then run away to fight you later on."

Anyone watch Tsubasa Chronicles or XXXHolic?

1 year 3 months ago

"I've only seen the 4:3 episodes of xxxHolic (no subs for the widescreen that I can find). The show alters the chronology of the manga events but it's still enjoyable. The animation quality is somewhat cheap looking at points but nothing unbearable. But the voices are as I would have imagined them and overall it's a good series to watch. I'll look into Tsubasa soon."
