"I can't say I'm DA expert in military, but number is pretty much the only thing the Chinese army has... they have seriously watered down versions of Soviet weapons (they say they made it themselves...yeah right), and they're no good up against US army... and FYI, they're divided into several groups according to district they defend, and each group are independantly owned by families and are self-sufficient. Chinese government has little control over those groups, so any large-scale militry action from China is unlikely (research about Tienman square incident and you'll find some shocking stuff)... If you want me to go into a bit more detail about what I'm talking about here, I could certainly do that in about 16 hours ^^ so leave a post if you'd like me to. "

"China and India are coming up pretty fast, and Russia's no joke, but imho (and unfortunately) US still is and will be the DUDE for a long time. Why? Well, it has the military power to begin with, and their currency is used around the world which gives them a massive economic advantage, plus brain leak from all over the world, especially China, India and Russia, are heading towards the US. Combined with unmatched infrastructure and government support, US has the best technology so far. It looks like its in a big puddle of shit, but its gonna take more than 10 trillion dollars of debt to bring the US down. At least that's what I think. "
