Cheating In Your Exams

"Well, as much as I hate to say it, I cheated on one of my final exams when I was a sophomore in high school. It was Economics class and I was pretty much screwed. The girl who sat next to me and I were pretty much friends by that point and she knew I would fail it so, without my even asking, she pushed her paper over so I could see it. By my senior year, that was like saving grace because I wasn't going to graduate if I didn't have all my credits done and I was several credits behind. So even just that -one- credit helped immensly. I owe that girl a lot for what she did."

I normally don't, but this cold is pretty bad and I had a pretty high temperature. "I used to from 7-16. Then I quit after seeing what it was doing to my family. Lots of my family has gotten hair disease and cancer from smoking, and I don't want to be like that. Pretty much a deal breaker, right there."

That won me. Anytime someone takes the time to research, evaluate, design, and redesign a tattoo specifically for themselves, I am impressed. I loathe when people randomly pick some piece of stock-art off a wall just to be "cool."

WoW, Who plays it?

"People find it addicting because it's a real-time game. You're playing with other people, your friends, etc. So it's not boring to sit there and chat with them while you're on a raid. You could play it for five years and still never really be done with it. (EQ has the same quality.) There is always something to do, someone to save, somewhere to raid- So it posesses a dependency quality because you're always wanting to do these things.

I wouldn't say I'm addicted, but I don't like not to play it for an extended period of time. If only because I fall behind the rest of my friends. =|"

WoW, Who plays it?

"I really have NO idea how you can play WoW and say it doesn't have a story unless you haven't played previous games, haven't looked into this one, or are really just kind of dumb. o_O;.. I've been playing Warcraft games virtually my whole life, so I know it has a story. It's not a matter of opinion at all.

Saying that you don't have an impact on the game goes for 95% games thus far created. Your game play decisions don't really have an impact on any of your Final Fantasy games, either. Because games are incapable of individual thought, they cannot judge things and therefore can't make different decisions on the game play other than what has previously been programmed into their memory. If what you did had an impact on the game play, you'd be able to type out whatever you wanted, rather than answering previously specified answers to questions your asked in the game.

WoW is generally all about RP. Yes, if you don't have any friends and are sitting there by yourself playing, it can get boring. HOWEVER, if you RP on an RP server, it's much different. You play your race, according to professions and class you chose, etc. THAT affects storyline. THAT impacts your game play. If you're sitting there just reading and going around to NPC's collecting quests, that really doesn't do anything at all. It's all a matter of what you're into. If you don't like using your imagination, or reading, or playing along thinking it's something OTHER than just a game, then sure, it's boring and there's really no point to you playing. But even without RPing, and just going to NPC's there is STILL a story. It's the STORY that drags you to the game. All the races are the STORY, all the classes and professions are the STORY. You didn't start playing because you thought the graphics and ambience were omega cool. You started because the game looked cool and what looked cool about the game was the STORY.

Blizzard created a story based MMORPG. That's its genre, that is what it is clarified as world-wide. It's not a matter of opinion. It's a matter of if it's YOUR type of game. If you're not into it, don't play. That easy.
