After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

If you grab Dell's $600 special laptop, then its probably gonna be complete and utter crap, but if you buy one of the higher-end, nicer models, it will probably last much longer for you.If you're willing to try Mac OS, Apple is a known star in the laptop world. They're thin, light, sleek, and tough. If you're going to buy a nicer laptop, definitely take a look at Apple's MacBook and MacBook Pro lines."

"Well, I don't know if my opinion counts or not, since I'm not quite an adult yet (turning 18 next month), but I don't find myself attracted to skinny/bony girls in heels; in fact, they repel me. What I'm attracted to is a decently fit girl (not fat, not skinny, fairly active) who is dressed in everyday clothing. Nice chest/rear proportions could definitely add but are by no means necessary.Of course, all that I just spoke of is just physical, and that's not what really matters. "While 512MB RAM is recommended for running XP, it's not required. The bare minimum for running is 256MB. On top of this, XP doesn't have any real video card requirements, meaning that computers with crappy "integrated graphics" or really low-end graphics cards could run XP just fine. This is not the case for Vista - it requires both a buttload of RAM AND specific (and expensive) high-end graphics cards that support DirectX 10. A HUGE number of people will just have to chuck their old PC just to be able to run Vista.
Now I direct you to the system requirements for Mac OS X Tiger, which already includes almost all the interface effects and goodies that Vista adds. Here are its requirements, which are rather meager in comparison to Vista:
Linux with XGL, which provides a good amount of what Mac OS X offers, has similar requirements, except it requires a graphics card with at least 64MB VRAM.
This proves that Vista really doesn't need such extravagant system resources to provide a nice interface; MS simply fails at efficient programming."

What kind and size of TV do you use?

"I have a 21" RCA CRT standard-def TV in my bedroom, and my iMac has a 20" LCD widescreen that supports resolutions up to 1680x1050. I personally prefer to watch things on my computer, since it has a nice speaker system hooked up to it and my LCD's picture is beautiful. The only thing I really use the TV for is catching anime on Adult Swim and the occasional movie :P"View

" Vision of Escaflowne (TV Series, NOT the crappy movie) currently holds the top position in my book. Great animation, amazing storyline, huge/diverse world, incredible character development, great soundtrack, and even (GASP!) a perfect English dub! It's really an amazing anime. If you haven't watched it, you really should - it's a title that deserves to be called a classic.Cowboy Bebop, as everyone else said, is a classic. Everything is damn near perfect, and the English dub is a actually considerably better than its Japanese counterpart.
In no specific order, other titles in my top 10 include Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic (all three), Chobits, and Fruits Basket."

"This is true, but I think that with a little practice, a native English speaker would be better at speaking Japanese than a Japanese person would be at speaking English, primarily because English speakers have learned most of the sounds in Japanese or something close to them in speaking English. The same can't be said for Japanese people learning English - almost all the sounds are new to them.
Of course, I could be completely wrong. I am basing my assumptions on my personal pronunciation of Japanese - I don't really have any trouble with the sounds, it's more in the breath patterns and speaking single-syllable Japanese words as quickly as a Japanese person would."

what anime do you think has unfinished Ending?

"Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid was so unfinished that a sequel is almost required. I really, really hope that they get around to making another Full Metal Panic series. The manga/novel is there to base it on, even -Fruits Basket wasn't so much unfinished, but it needs at least another season or two. I loved that anime, it's quite different from everything else out there.
Chobits wasn't unfinished at all, but it's just one of those series that you'd love to see more of.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya could stand a second season.
The Vision of Escaflowne finished very nicely, but begs for a sequel. What happens to Von, Alan, and Gaia itself after Hitomi leaves? And what about Hitomi? Does she get to visit Gaia ever again?
Midori no Hibi has an ending that feels a little forced, and needs to either be redone to fit in better or continued in a sequel."

"Including the time that I'm on before school (5:30-6:30) and the time I'm on after school (3:15-9:00 or later) somewhere around 7-8 hours a day. Some days it's less due to watching Anime or homework, and some days its more.I really don't know what I'd do without a stable internet connection. I'd basically have nothing to do... Most TV doesn't interest me, I'm not athletic, and I'm not the type who reads a lot of books, so what does that leave for me to do? I could draw/work on desktop pictures for a while, but that would eventually get old too..."

"As long as they do a good job dubbing (and most recent ones have) it's not a bad thing at all, but if they're not going to put any effort into the dubbing at all, then screw them.Thing is, the vast majority of English speakers get annoyed with subtitles very quickly, and will stop watching if they can't just listen. I understand these people to a point - they'd like to enjoy the anime's art and get the story more clearly instead of keeping their eyes glued to the bottom of the screen for the entire episode.
Anyway, back on subject. I think the reason dubs are becoming much more common is because anime distrobution/production companies have seen that the anime market isn't going to expand without dubs due to the nature of English speakers that I mentioned above. To fix that, they are dubbing anime and getting it out there ASAP."

It's very light and efficient, and has a nice light GUI that fits in --perfectly-- with both Linux and Mac OS X without cutting back on the features. "Well if video is your big thing, you're not after an MP3 player but rather a portable video player. If that's the case, rumor has it that Apple will be releasing a video-specializing iPod in a few days, which will feature a screen that covers the entire front of the iPod. The iPod itself is said to be about the same size as a normal iPod, maybe a little bigger, and will use a touchscreen interface instead of a clickwheel. The regular iPod with the smaller screen will remain for music enthusiasts as a separate model.
As for the battery thing, I really think that's something that happened to a small percentage and got blown out of proportion by the media. My 20GB black and white iPod currently has the same battery capacity it had when I received it as a gift 2 years ago, and I use it daily."

action anime with good story and artwork

"For artwork, I haven't yet seen an anime that quite matches the quality of Full Metal Alchemist in both terms of backgrounds and animation. FMA's animation is so incredibly smooth, I can't describe it. The lines composing the characters are the cleanest I've ever seen as well. GiTS: SAC, GiTS: SAC 2nd GiG, and Eureka 7 come in at an undecided second or third in art quality.For action, Bleach, any GiTS, Full Metal Panic, and to a certain extent Scrapped Princess is good. If you're looking for something a bit older, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Vision of Escaflowne all have some pretty nice action scenes."

What format is accepted for submitting papers with multiple sizes?

Should I submit it by means of ZIP file, or some other type of compression, or should I just submit one size and edit in the others once it's approved?If this is in the FAQ, I greatly apologize for it. "I'm graduating from high school this year, and even though I know I'm going to college for at least four years, I'm not really sure what courses I'm going to take. I'd like to take something in the fields of digital art/video/animation/general art, since that's what I enjoy, but I'm having a really tough time refining what I want. On top of that, I'm having to worry wether or not I'll be able to land a decent job with any of those courses. If that's not bad enough, I need to decide before fall 2007, since that's probably when I'll be starting college attendance. Any input you guys might have would be appreciated, much like some other people's situations in this thread...Ugh, I need to stop thinking about this for a little while, it's making my head hurt! >_<"
